Married to My Stalker(5)
Author: MINK

But he doesn’t know her, not like I do. I know what’s best for my wife, and keeping her in the dark is the smart move. That little voice in the back of my head, though, now it’s louder and on repeat: If she finds out, she’ll leave. She’ll run. The thing is, I’ll chase her and I’ll find her. Because Quinn is the one thing in this world I can’t live without.

One of the things I love most about living in the city is you can get anything delivered the same day. It’s so convenient. Harley watches me as I get ready for our little outing. I was a bit sad that Logan was gone when I woke this morning, but he has a job to do.

Even though I hate the fact that it takes him away from me so much, I understand how important it is. He owns like a whole freaking company that he needs to keep running. I should be grateful at how accomplished the man is. He must love his career.

“Daddy has to pay the bills,” I tell Harley. Totally not being passive aggressive at all. “Yes, he owns the place and can make his own hours.”

I sit down on the edge of bed, pulling on my boots. It’s a bit of a fight. They go all the way up to my knees. Logan is going to have to help me get them off later. Then again, that’s the whole point to begin with. I part my thighs, noticing four small bruises on the insides. I place my fingers over them, quickly realizing what they are.

“Wow,” I breathe. My panties grow damp at the thought of how they got there. It’s from Logan’s fingers.

Damn, that’s so sexy. I love seeing his mark on my skin. I don’t recall it hurting when he was grabbing me tight. I enjoyed every second. I always do when he gets overly possessive of me. I find myself trying to draw that side of him out.

The man was insatiable after the blowjob in the shower. He’d gone at me like a starved man unable to sate his hunger. Logan has always more than enjoyed going down on me. Last night, though, it was like something snapped inside him. Everything was a bit more aggressive. Even the things he whispered into my ear were a little more dirty than usual. I enjoyed every second of it and hope for a repeat soon.

A whimper leaves me when I close my eyes and recount all the things he said. Even though he let himself go more than usual last night, I could still tell there were moments he’d start to say something and cut himself off. It left me wondering what he’d wanted to say. Today I’m going to see if I can get him to finish saying some of those things.

I come to my feet, wobbling a bit. I can usually rock heels, but these things are five, maybe six inches. Harley watches me walk back and forth at the end of the bed, getting used to them for a second before I head into the closet. I walk back out wearing a fur Logan bought me last Valentine’s Day.

“It’s not real,” I tell Harley, who gives me a skeptical look. I put it on over my white lacy panties and bra before I head back into the bathroom to put on the bold shade of red lipstick. I can’t believe I’m actually doing this.

I stare at myself in the mirror and try to give myself a pep talk. It’s not that far to his office. I tie my coat closed before I snag one of my bigger Birkins and put Harley inside so he can come along with me.

“Mrs. Pruitt.” Martin stands from behind his guard desk. “You’re going out?” he asks, flustered.

“I am. Can you get me a car please?”

“Ms. Smooth isn’t coming with you?”

“No,” I respond as my face starts to warm.

Normally when I do go out, Nova is with me. We can be connected at the hip when I’m not with my husband. I’m definitely not going to take her with me on my surprise sex pop-in on Logan at his office.

“Do you want me to call her?”

“No.” I laugh. “I just need a car please.” I start walking toward the front doors.

“Of course. Where will you be heading?”

“4th and Abbot.” I wiggle my toes inside my boots. “Actually I think I’ll walk it.” It’s probably not my best idea, but I feel like getting some fresh air.

“It might rain.” Martin rushes to stand in front of me before I can exit the building.

“Really? It’s sunny.” I point out.

“Where are you off to?” Nova calls, stepping off the elevator.

“I wanted to surprise Logan at the office.”

“That’s sweet. I’ll walk with you.”

“Are you sure?”

“I was about to go to the gym. Walking with my friend sounds a lot better.” Her eyes roam up and down me. “My friend that is obviously up to something.” She smirks. My face flushes even more. “See you later, Martin.” Nova gives him a smile as she grabs one of the glass doors, pulling it open for me.

“Meow.”

Nova stops walking and looks down at my bag.

“Oh! I haven't introduced you to Harley yet.” I open up my bag. Harley pops his little head out. “Nova, meet your nephew. His name is Harley, and he’s the newest addition to the Pruitt family.”

“He’s adorableish.” She gives him a little scratch on the top of his head with one finger. They both give each other skeptical looks. Nova is more of a dog person, but I still love her despite that one glaring flaw. She pulls out her phone, clicking away as we walk. “You want to stop for a coffee?”

“No.” I try to speed up to make the crosswalk as the numbers click down.

Nova snags my arm, slowing my pace.

“Hey! We could have made that.”

“You’re going to hurt yourself in those heels.”

“I’ve got this.” I tug on my coat, making sure it’s closed.

“You wanna tell me why you have hooker boots on?”

“Nova!” I hiss, glancing around to see if anyone heard. “Surprising my man at the office,” I whisper.

“Are you…” She trails off, her eyes flicking over the coat.

“Not all the way.” I pull on her arm when the light changes and we can walk again.

“Oh! Look at those cookies.” Nova pulls me toward the window of the bakery. “You can get Logan some.”

“I’m the cookie.” I shake my arm free of her. “I’ll see you later, girl.”

She reluctantly lets me go, and I leave her standing in front of the sweet shop. I don’t know why she’s being weird, but I’m on a mission.

“Mrs. Pruitt.” Chuck, one of the security guards, calls when I enter the building. His eyes flick up and down me the same as Nova's did. Oh, gosh. Is it obvious what I’m up to?

“Hi, Chuck.” I give him a wave before making a beeline straight for the elevator. I bet my face matches my lipstick with how much I’m blushing. I hit the button to the elevator over and over so it closes as fast as possible. I probably should have thought this through a bit more, but I know if I really stopped to think about it that I might chicken out.

When the elevator doors slide open again, my husband is standing there. My very pissed off looking husband that is. I’ve never been on the receiving end of Logan’s anger before. I’ve seen him snap at other people and thought I’d never want that to be me. But my body isn’t having the response I thought it would if that was to ever happen. I press my thighs together as excitement lights up my body.
