Screams in Symphony(34)
Author: Kelsey Clayton

Kage doesn’t miss a beat. The second my orgasm starts to slow, he slides his fingers out and flips me onto my back. His thrusts are hard and fast, taking no mercy and only getting him harder until he pulls out and lines up at my ass.

“I want you to take a deep breath, and then let it out slow,” he tells me.

Doing what he says, I inhale until my lungs can’t take anymore, and as I start to let it out, he presses into me. Pain is everywhere, but it’s a good kind of hurt. His dick is so much bigger than his fingers, but the stretch is everything.

“Oh my God,” I breathe.

He looks down, admiring the way his cock looks in my ass as he slowly pushes further in. His thumb rubs against my sensitive clit to distract me from the feeling of him damn near splitting me open. And it works.

By the time he bottoms out, I’m a panting mess, overwhelmed by the pressure. He stays completely still for a moment. His eyes stay locked on mine as he waits for me to adjust.

“Move,” I tell him.

He smirks. “Yes, ma’am.”

Starting off slow, he pulls out to the head and then thrusts all the way back in. It takes a minute to get used to, but the faster he goes, the better it feels. His grip on my hips is so tight I know there are going to be bruises left behind in the morning.

“Holy fuck,” he growls.

I lace my fingers into my own hair while he fucks my ass just as hard as he fucks my pussy. His jaw locks as he starts to get closer, chasing his own high while my third is fiercely approaching. Getting better leverage, he uses his hands to pull me onto him rather than thrusting into me, and the angle hits just right.

“I’m going to fill you up so good. You want my cum in your ass?”

“Yes!” I scream as I get closer. “Cum in my ass. I want it all.”

His movements quicken as he fucks me harder, taking us both over the edge. He shoves two fingers into my pussy and crooks them just right. Animalistic sounds fill the air as we let go and he empties everything he has into my ass.

The two of us are drenched in sweat, and I wince as he slowly pulls out. He crashes down next to me and presses a quick kiss to my lips, then smiles.

“You really were fucking made for me.”

I SIT ON THE couch with Kage’s head in my lap, running my fingers through his hair as he types out an email on his phone. Mattia and Costello, the other private investigator Kage hired, have been working tirelessly to find Dmitri with no luck, much to Kage’s fury. And judging by the way Beni and Roman marched into the office before, I’m guessing they’re all losing patience.

The clock is ticking, and it’s only a matter of time before Mauricio calls with the news that ownership of my grandfather’s properties has been transferred over to my prick of a father. If they don’t get to Dmitri before that, they’ll lose everything to the Bratva. Control of the city will be theirs, and I will have to watch as Kage feels like a failure, despite how hard he’s fought for the Familia.

“Oh, shit,” Roman’s voice echoes from the office. “Incoming!”

The front door opens with such force that it slams against the wall and almost shuts itself. Kage is up off the couch in seconds, pulling out his gun and pointing it toward the door until Viola appears. He and I both exhale and he puts his gun away.

“Jesus Christ, Viola. I almost killed you,” he says.

“Wouldn’t be the first time,” she snaps back.

Her attitude doesn’t go unnoticed as he looks her up and down. “What’s your problem?”

“Funny you should ask.” She puts her hand on her hip. “I just had to watch as our brother trashed the entire house in an angry rage.”

Kage grunts. “Okay, first of all, that’s your brother, not mine. And second, why is this my problem?”

“Because your little argument at the funeral is what sent him off the deep end!”

“Please,” he scoffs, pointing to the cut on his lip. “He’s the one that hit me.”

My eyes widen in concern. “Wait, Nico did that to you?”

They both ignore me as Viola glares at Kage. “You knew he hasn’t been himself since Dad died. And what do you do? You go and banish him from the only family he has left.”

“He’s fucking lucky that’s all I did!” he sneers. “I should’ve shot him in the head for what he did!”

“If he keeps up like this, you won’t have to,” she yells. “He’ll do it himself, and that death will be on you.”

I can see Kage is starting to get angry. Both their emotions are high, and they’re taking their stressful day out on each other. I jump off the couch and put myself between them.

“Okay, Vi,” I say calmly, understanding that she’s grieving. “That’s a little uncalled for.”

She looks like she’s going to snap at me next, but then she stops and takes a deep breath. “I’m sorry. It’s just that Nico looks up to you, Kage. He has since we were kids, you just never paid attention enough to see it. And I don’t want to see him lose everything because of something he said when he was dealing with the death of our father. You of all people should know what that kind of grief does to a person.”

Instead of saying anything, he turns and walks away, going into our bedroom and slamming the door behind him. Viola plops down onto the couch and covers her face with her hands. I glance at the bedroom door, knowing he would’ve taken me with him if he wanted me in there. So, I sit next to Viola and wrap my arms around her.

“It’s been a tough few days, for all of us,” I tell her. “Give him some time. Nico, too. Men are stubborn, but they’ll come around. Whether Kage wants to admit it or not, you’re family.”

She wipes a stray tear from her face and sniffles. “I really hope you’re right, because I can’t handle losing them, too."

I WAKE IN THE middle of the night, rolling over to find the other side of the bed empty and cold. Glancing at the alarm clock, I read the time. 3:37 a.m. I sit up and rub my eyes with my fists. I’m not going to be able to fall back asleep without knowing he’s okay.

As I get out of bed, I grab the blanket and wrap it around my naked body. The hardwood floor feels cold against my feet. I leave the bedroom in search of Kage and immediately find that the living room is empty. Not even Beni is sitting on the couch, which is good because Kage would lose his mind if he saw me this way.

The light coming from Kage’s office gives away his location, but when I get to the doorway, it’s not at all what I expected to find. Kage is sitting at his desk with a half-empty bottle of Cognac, not even drinking from a glass—opting for straight out of the bottle.

“Hey,” I greet him softly.

He looks up at me, and I can already see the gloss that coats his eyes. “Hi Gabbana.”

“You okay?” I ask. “Drinking in the middle of the night isn’t normally your style.”

Smiling sadly, he shrugs. “I don’t know.”

My heart hurts for him as I realize what this is about. “Viola told me what Nico said at the funeral.”

Kage grabs the bottle to take another sip, but I grab it from him and carefully put it back down on the desk.
