The Rocker (Love is Blind, #4)(36)
Author: Harlow Layne

With one hand under her ass, the other pulled her closer. The hard press of her mouth to mine had me wanting to forget the show we were supposed to perform in twenty minutes and take her back to the hotel where I could ravage her body all night long. That celebration would have to wait. Now it was time to revel in this moment with my brothers.

Breaking away, I pressed my forehead to Pen’s before I placed one last kiss on her swollen lips and put her down. She quickly moved out of the way as the guys and I converged in the middle of the room in a big hug where we all laughed, yelled, and maybe shed a tear or two. For once, even Greer was happy.

Cross was the first to step back from the group. He went directly to Pen and gave her a big bear hug, murmuring something to her that had her eyes misting up as she met my gaze. A watery smile graced her face as she rubbed his back.

“Let me get in on the love,” Kenton broke away and hugged Pen and Cross from behind.

“Alright, while I love you all, you need to finish getting ready. Your set to be on stage in…” she looked down at her watch. “Ten minutes. You know the drill. Do what you need to do.”

While Cross and Kenton disbanded from my woman, I prowled toward her and pulled her into my arms. “Does that include me?”

Tilting her head to the side, she shook her head with a touch of a smile. “Does what include you?”

Leaning down, I shadowed her body with mine and nipped at her earlobe. “Doing whatever I need to do before the show.”

Penelope’s arms wrapped around my waist and shoved her hands in my back pockets. “Is the intrigue already gone, and we’ve moved on to wham, bam, thank you, ma’am?”

Nuzzling her with my nose, I placed a kiss on the sensitive area right below her ear. “It most certainly isn’t gone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t throw in a quickie every once in a while.”

Her hands scratched up my back and along the nape of my neck. “You’ll barely be getting started in ten minutes, but if you want me to blow you in the bathroom down the hall, I can do that.”

The thought of Pen’s sweet mouth on my cock nearly had me coming in my pants. I dragged her out of the room and to the bathroom, quickly locking the door. I’d barely turned around when my belt was unbuckled, and my zipper was down. Small, soft hands pulled me out of the confines of my briefs and started to slide up and down my length.

Getting down on her knees before me, Pen looked up at me from underneath her long lashes. Her whiskey-colored eyes locked with mine as she took my crown in her hot mouth and swirled her tongue around it.

“Fuck me,” I groaned. “I love your mouth on me.”

Pen hummed from her spot in front of me and slowly took my length until it hit the back of her throat, in and out in the slowest, most excruciating pleasure. She wasn’t rushing it even though we only had a matter of minutes. My sweet girl knew the power she had over me, and it wouldn’t take me long as she expertly sucked me off.

Her hands moved to cup my ass, her nails digging into my flesh, and took me further down her throat than ever before. The feeling of her throat spasming around my length made me explode. Gripping her hair, I fucked her mouth until she tasted every last drop of me. Only then did I pull out and rim her pink, swollen lips with the tip of my cock.

“Fuck, baby, I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to perform. I think you sucked out all of my brain cells.” I propped myself against the door, pulling her up as I did.

“I hope not because if you don’t go out there and put on the best show of your life, then that’s never happening again.” She gave me a quick peck on the lips as if that was supposed to take the sting out of her words.

“Never as in before a show or never in my life?” I questioned as I tucked my slowly softening dick back into my pants. He wanted more, and so did I, but I knew that wasn’t possible right now.

“That remains to be seen, so I suggest you get your ass out there and give me a show,” she slapped my ass as I walked out of the bathroom.

Stopping just inside the little wall that separated the hall from the bathroom so no one could see us, I took her in my arms and just held her. We didn’t get many moments like this since there were always people around. “I love you. You know that, right?”

Hugging me back, Pen rested her head on my chest and took a deep breath. I knew she was trying not to rush the moment even though I needed to be at the entrance of the stage. “I know you do, and I love you.” She reclined back enough to see my face. “I’m so damn proud of you. Tonight, we’ll celebrate right.”

Pulling her hand up between us, I kissed the knuckles on both hands. “I happened to like our mini celebration.”

“I bet you did. Now, go sing me a song,” Pen pushed me out into the hall and then took her spot a couple of feet apart from me.

“All of my songs are for you, didn’t you know?” Her lips looked so tempting. Would there ever be a time when I’d had enough of her?

She ran the back of her hand along my jaw before taking it away. Why was I always starved for her touch? We stopped a couple of feet away from where the band stood. “I do now. Love you, Walker.”

“As I do you.”

Was it wrong that I couldn’t wait for this tour to be over, so I could spend every second of every day with her? This was my dream, and yet there was always this deep longing whenever Pen wasn’t in my arms.

“Let’s show them we’re even better in person and hit platinum,” Kenton said, walking backward onto the stage.

“Let’s do this,” Cross shouted as Kenton started pounding on his kit.

I walked out to a crowd of thousands of people screaming. I could even make a few calling our names. A smirk took over my face as I grabbed the microphone. “Good evening, London.”

I stared down at my phone in utter disbelief. I hadn’t heard from my parents since the beginning of my junior year of college. I had messaged, letting them know we were going on tour, and never heard from them. They had firmly stated the last time I spoke with them that they wanted nothing to do with me if I pursued a career in music. I had wasted enough of their time and money.

Pen sat down next to me on the couch in our room. Her hand went to my knee as she leaned into me. “What’s wrong?”

I flashed her my phone and the text message from my mom.

Mom: I heard one of your songs on the radio today.

I guess you really did make it.

Running her hand up and down my leg, Pen rested her head on my shoulder. “I’m sorry. I know how much it hurts not to have a parent’s support, but at least she acknowledged what you’ve accomplished even if she could have been nicer about it.”

I moved my thumb in order for her to read the rest of the message.

Mom: Now that you’re famous,

you can pay us back all that money

we spent sending you to college.

Pen sat up with tears in her eyes. “Is she fucking serious right now?”

“Don’t cry for me, my sweet Penny. I accepted long ago that my parents would never understand my love for music.” I just never thought they’d be so callous as to ask for money the second they thought I had any money to my name.
