Deviant Reign (Knight's Ridge Empire #6)(52)
Author: Tracy Lorraine

“Who says I’m having a sleepover with you tonight?”

“You can fight it and argue if you want, but we both know you’re already wet for it.”

My lips part, but I can’t find it in me to challenge him. “Damn you, Theodore Cirillo.”

“Fuck, I love it when you use my whole name.” Faster than I can compute, he spins me, collars my throat and presses me up against the side of his car. “It gets me all kinds of hard, Hellcat.”

Just to prove his point, he grinds his length against my stomach.

“You’d let me, wouldn’t you?”

“W-what?” I stutter, too lost in him to really grasp what he’s saying.

“You’d let me fuck you right here in the middle of the car park.”

“Yes,” I confess, my voice raspy with desire. “I’m yours.”

“Goddamn, babe.”

He drops his head to my shoulder and sucks in a shaky breath.

“Dad always told me that love makes you weak,” he whispers in my ear, the sensation of his hot breath on my sensitive skin enough to send lightning bolts of desire shooting around my body. “But he was wrong. Because I’d fight through hell for you, Emmie. Anything for you.”

“Theo,” I breathe, my body sagging back against the car.

“And right now, I’m looking after you and taking you home. But later, I’ll lick, suck, and fuck that greedy little pussy until you can no longer remember your own name.” My panting becomes damn near embarrassing as he whispers those wicked words in my ear.

Before I get to respond, he pulls the passenger door open and guides me in.

My head is still spinning and my body burning when he leans in, drags the seat belt across me and brushes his lips against mine.

“Tease,” I hiss when he pulls back without giving me what I really want.

“Oh, babe. That’s all you. Sit tight.” He stands and gives me the delight of watching him try to do something with his boner before he throws my bag that had been abandoned on the floor into the boot and joins me.

He glances over, a knowing smirk firmly in place.

"You know,” he says, pushing his finger into the ignition and letting the beast rumble around us, “I think you and I are going to have so much fun, wife.” He winks and revs the engine, and I can’t help but laugh.

“Yeah,” I confess. “I think you might be right.”

“Daddy, we’re home,” I sing the second I push through the front door, but the only thing that greets me is silence.

Theo walks into the house behind me and closes the door.

“Drink?” I offer, walking down the hall after kicking off my boots and hanging my jacket on the hook.

“Yeah, sure.”

I make us both a coffee, Theo’s eyes drilling into me the entire time before we head through to the living room.

“So what’s the plan then?” he asks.

“Wait, I guess. I need to talk to him before we do anything else.”

He studies me, his eyes bouncing between mine.

“What if it was him—them?”

“Then… nothing. I’m not going to look at them differently, judge them for it. All that kind of stuff is a part of Cruz’s life, my dad’s past, your life. I won’t criticise any of you for what you do for your families, how you operate your… businesses. I just… I’m a part of them now. Both of them. And I know that I can’t always know everything, be involved with everything. But when it involves me, then yeah, I wanna know. I’m not going to put up with being lied to.

“I can handle the dark and the dirty.” Theo’s lips twitch in acknowledgment. “If this is my life, my future, then I want to embrace it. Not live on the outskirts like I have my whole life.”

“It’s your life, babe, and you can dive in as deep as you like into the underworld, as long as you’re holding my hand while you’re doing it.”

Threading his fingers through mine, he tugs me until I have no choice but to tumble into his body.

“I’ll consider it,” I mutter teasingly.

“Yeah, you do that.” His lips brush mine with every word he says and tingles spread through my entire body.

I love it when he lets go and forgets about taking life too seriously. Every time I see that easy smile and the sparkle of excitement, I can’t help but feel incredibly lucky to be a part of his inner circle. “But right now, we’ve got this house to ourselves and I think we should make the most of it.”

“Oh? Wanna show me what you have in mind?”

Our coffees are long forgotten after I place them on the table. He tugs me so I’m lying beneath him and looms over me, all muscle and strength, making me feel like a little mouse caught up by his power and intensity.

“Mine,” he growls, gently knocking his nose against mine.

Reaching for my hand, he lifts it, his eyes flicking to the ring sitting on my finger before he presses his lips to it.

“You really want this, don’t you?” I ask, my heart galloping in my chest as he honours the somewhat bullshit union between us.

His eyes seek mine out once more, allowing me to see everything he’s feeling in the dark green depths.

“I do. But only if you want it too.”

“Don’t you think we’re too young?”

“For what? Falling in love? Thinking about our future?”

“I-I—”

“We don’t need big dresses, white picket fences, and a plan for kids. All we need to be is us. We can carve out our lives as we see fit, one day at a time.”

“You’re annoyingly sweet and perfect, do you know that?”

He shrugs, an endearing, shy smile playing on his lips.

“I have my moments. Just… don’t tell anyone. I’m meant to be a ruthless soldier and heir to this Family, remember? I need to keep my rep as a cutthroat arsehole.”

“It can be our little secret,” I whisper, pulling my hand from his grip and wrapping it around the back of his neck, dragging him down so our lips finally meet.

I’m so lost to Theo’s kisses and the way he grinds against me, the friction from our jeans doing insane things between my legs as he rolls his hips that I don’t hear the front door slam. Nor do I acknowledge the deep, rumbling laughter that floats down to us. And neither does Theo, as he continues to drown in me as much as I am him.

But I sure as fuck hear the loud throat clearing right behind my head a beat before Theo jumps off me as if he’s just been shot.

Tipping my head back, I look at Dad and Cruz through hazy, lust-filled eyes.

“Oh hey, we were waiting for you,” I say breathlessly as heat begins to spread across my cheeks and down my neck from being caught. I’m not going to apologise for it though. Hell knows I’ve caught Dad and Piper making out enough times.

“So we see. Get bored, did you?”

“Dawson, Cruz,” Theo grunts in greeting, his voice deep and the bulge in his jeans more than obvious.

“Glad to see you’re keeping it in your pants this time, Cirillo,” Cruz barks in amusement.
