Deviant Reign (Knight's Ridge Empire #6)(56)
Author: Tracy Lorraine

Collaring her throat, I lift her to her feet, crashing our lips together. I taste myself on her tongue, but it only makes me burn hotter for her.

Commotion and voices from out in the living area float down to us, and Emmie pulls back.

“Tell me they didn’t?” I ask, although I already know it’s hopeless.

“Pretty sure they did,” Emmie replies with a smirk.

“But I want—” My hand cups her pussy once more.

“Ever heard of delayed gratification, boss?” she whispers, that mischievous glint in her eyes back full force.

“You wanna go hang out with my friends instead of letting me get you off?”

“Firstly,” she points out, “they’re my friends too. You need to learn to share your toys.” She quirks a brow, and a smile forms on my lips. “And secondly, I have every confidence that you’ll make it worth the wait.”

“No pressure, huh?”

“I’m confident in your skills, Theodore.”

“Hmm,” I say, dragging her back in for another kiss. “I’m more than confident in yours, you filthy little whore.”

“Yours,” she mumbles into our kiss.

“Mine.”

“Oh look, the sex addicts return,” Seb barks the second we emerge from my office.

“Oh that’s fucking rich,” Alex snaps. “You couldn’t even wait to get the tip in before I left your place the other night,” he happily announces to the room.

Calli shakes her head while Nico high-fives Seb in excitement.

“When you need it, you need it,” Nico explains as if it’s fucking necessary.

I’m pretty sure the only one in this room who doesn’t know that feeling is Calli. And thankfully, the blush on her cheeks right now only confirms my suspicion.

“You’re a dog,” she hisses at her brother, slapping him around the head, but his only response is to bark proudly.

Dipping my head, I brush my lips against Emmie’s ear. “Just remember, you could have been laid out on my desk with my tongue inside you while you screamed my name right now.”

My cock swells at the thought.

“There’s always time, big man. Let’s go eat. I’m starving.”

“Fair enough,” I concede, unable to deny that I’m hungry and that the scent of the Chinese Seb and Stella have covered my dining table with smells insane.

“So,” Emmie starts, and I groan, knowing that I’m not going to like what’s coming next. “How was your ride with Xander?” she asks Calli, poking her tongue into her cheek. “What?” she gasps innocently when I elbow her in the ribs.

Every guy around the table stiffens at her suggestive question—even Toby, who’s sitting silently at the other end looking like he’d rather be anywhere else in the world right now.

Pain slices through me once more at the anger and hopelessness that surrounds him.

“Oh, it was great,” Calli beams, dragging my eyes from Toby. “It was… rough,” she suggests with a smirk.

“Callista, you are not falling for a fucking biker,” Nico snaps, his fist curling on the table, his knuckles turning white.

“Fuck you, Nico,” she hisses back. “I’ll fall for who I want.” Something passes through Calli’s eyes as she says that, but it’s gone so fast I wonder if I imagined it.

“Jesus fucking Christ,” he mutters to himself before reaching for his beer and downing it in one.

“All right, man?” I say, leaving my girl behind and squeezing Toby’s shoulder.

“Yeah,” he grunts unconvincingly.

“Have a good time with those girls last night?”

“Fucking pussy got wasted before the good shit happened,” Nico answers for him. “Had to man up and entertain them myself. It was a challenge, but lucky for them, I was man enough for the job.”

“You’re a hypocrite,” Calli spits. “I can’t ride on a bike of some guy who has zero interest in me, but you can sit there proudly telling us all about spending the night with two girls.”

“Children, children,” Alex sings. “We all know Nico needs all this attention to make him feel like a man. He can’t help it, baby C.”

“What the fuck did you just say to me?”

“Nico,” Toby pipes up. “Shut the fuck up, man. You wouldn’t want me to tell everyone how you couldn’t get it up that time.”

“Oh my God,” Alex and Seb howl in delight. Even Calli snorts a laugh at that announcement.

And just like that, everything is normal once more.

I look around at everyone as Emmie comes to sit in the empty chair beside me and I can’t help but smile.

There might be a lot of fucked-up things surrounding each of our lives, but they’re my family, and I’d take a bullet for every motherfucker around this table.

“Did anyone invite the devil incarnate to this little gathering?”

Alex’s lips part to respond, but he doesn’t need to. Guilt is written all over his face.

“He’s probably busy,” Seb says.

“Or he’s downstairs selling his soul?” Nico adds.

“You’re a bunch of pricks,” I mutter, pulling my phone from my pocket and shooting him a message.

It’s read immediately, but he never replies or even starts typing.

Pushing it aside, I drop a kiss on Emmie’s cheek, which makes the guys groan.

“Pussy-whipped motherfucker,” Alex barks around a mouthful of chow mein.

Flipping him off, I reach for the closest container, ready to start filling my plate.

“This is… weirdly nice,” Emmie whispers in my ear when I offer her the food first.

“Yeah. It is. Welcome to the family, wife.” I wink.

“Oh, didn’t you notice? I’ve been a part of it for a while. You just tried to ignore my presence,” she quips.

“Babe, you’re impossible to ignore. I used to know where you were every second.”

“Stalker,” she hisses.

“Certified. You wouldn’t have it any other way.”

She holds my eyes, a wicked smile pulling at her lips. “I forgot to tell you. I recorded you in the hotel room Friday night.”

My eyes widen in shock, but all I do is shrug. “Enjoy it, Hellcat. Just make sure you film your reaction to watching it for me.”

“I didn’t stop it from recording when I walked out.”

My mind spins for a moment. “You mean you’ve got…”

“Pretty sure, yeah.”

“Do not give that fucking tablet back to Seb,” I growl.

“Don’t give me what?” he asks, having heard his name.

“Nothing,” I hiss, although I can’t deny that this whole conversation is giving me ideas. Dirty, cock-stirring ideas.

He glares at me suspiciously, but like fuck am I letting him in on the images that are playing out in my head.

Thankfully, a knock at my door stops him from questioning me, and everyone looks in my direction.

“I’ll go then,” I say with a laugh when no one else even attempts to move.

“You’re an idiot,” Emmie mutters as I push my chair back and head for the door.
