Just One Touch(50)
Author: Chelsea M. Cameron

“It’s true. And I bet someone out there painted it on a cave so that no one would ever forget it.”

This story was too ridiculous, but I was still on an orgasm high and it didn’t matter.

Piper and I got up and took a shower, but that turned into more fucking until we decided sleep might be a good plan.

“I want to stay up all night with you, but I have all these things that have to get done,” she said. “I’m sorry.”

“You’re sorry that you only made me come four times? What a monster,” I said, getting into bed again.

“I’d make you come all night until you beg me to stop. Someday I will,” she said.

“Mmm, I look forward to that day,” I said. “Best day ever.”

“Infinity infinity infinity infinity stars,” she said through a yawn.

“Come on, let’s go to bed,” I said, and she tucked me into her, and I fell asleep being held by the woman that made me come only four times that night.

Piper woke up looking like an angel and it wasn’t fair.

“How do you look this good in the morning. It isn’t fair,” I croaked out. My hair was a disaster after being damp when I fell asleep, and I didn’t even want to know what my face looked like.

Piper looked down at me with her perfect hair and perfect glowing skin and smiled.

“If you need to sleep more, it’s fine.”

I was about to tell her it was fine I’d get up when she did, but the door flew open and a little body raced through the room and flew onto the middle of the bed.

“Good morning!” Preston said.

“Good morning, baby,” Piper said, giving him a hug and huge kiss.

“Why are you in Mama’s bed, Kenna?” Preston asked. “Was you taking a nap?”

“Yup,” I said. “I got so tired that your Mama let me take a nap.” I pretended to yawn and stretched my arms above my head.

“But now I’m not sleepy anymore.”

“Mama, can we have pancakes?” Preston asked.

“Yes, we can have pancakes,” Piper said, giving him another kiss.

Things were hectic from then on out. Preston had to be fed, dressed, and his bag had to be packed for daycare. I tried not to be in the way and helped where I could. Piper had done this dozens of times before, so she had a system to keep everything moving swiftly. I told her that she could drive him while I cleaned up from breakfast and she gave me a look that was so grateful that I couldn’t stop myself from kissing her.

“Bye, bye, Kenna!” Preston said.

“Bye,” I waved, and they were out the door.

I cleaned up and made sure the kitchen was spotless again. I was about to go upstairs and change into my yoga clothes when Natalie came through the door.

“Oh hey, I forgot you were going to be here.”

I looked down at my pajamas and my nipples were poking right through my thin tank top.

I crossed my arms over my chest.

“Do you want some coffee?” I asked and she took off her shoes at the door.

“No, I’ve got this.” I took that as the sign to get dressed, so I went upstairs and made myself presentable.

It was weird that I was getting ready here and not at the farmhouse, but I had to admit, the bathroom was better. I also took a peek in Piper’s closet again. It really was massive.

By the time I got back downstairs, Piper was back, and she was having her second cup of coffee with Natalie. We still had over an hour and a half until my class, so I wasn’t sure what to do.

“You can use my upstairs office if you want,” Piper said.

“Thanks, I’ll do that and let you get on with your day.” The last thing I wanted was to be in the way.

“Let me know if you need anything,” Piper said, and I could tell she wanted to kiss me, but Natalie was here.

“I’m going to get started on those emails,” Natalie said, scurrying away.

“Sorry if this is a little awkward at first. I’m not used to having the person I’m with in my space,” she said. Even though she’d been married, they hadn’t really ever lived the same life. They’d lived their own lives, but in the same space, sometimes. When he was gone, it was like he didn’t even exist.

“We’ll figure it out,” I said, giving her a quick peck. “I’ll come get you for yoga.”

Yoga class started out with good intentions and devolved into making out on her mat.

“I really did intend to do yoga today,” she protested between kisses. “I always feel so much better when I do.”

“I know,” I said, pushing her hair back. “Should we give it another try?”

She nodded, and this time, I didn’t touch her. We got through a short flow and made it to Savasana without either of us trying to compromise the other.

“See? We can still have yoga,” I said. “But I’m going to refund you for this class and all the classes going forward.”

She stared at me. “You don’t need to do that.”

“I do. Because it’s the right thing. I can take on some other private clients to make up for it and I have this big launch coming up in the fall. I can take the hit to make my conscience clean.” I’d made the decision last night when I’d woken up in the middle of the night, my limbs tangled with Piper’s. She might be okay with me keeping the money, but I wasn’t, and I would always regret it if I did.

“If that’s what you want,” Piper said. “Then I support you.”

“Thanks.” I got out my phone and pulled up my payment app. I’d already done the math on what the partial refund amount would be and deducted it from the whole.

I hesitated just a second before I sent, but then I did and I saw Piper’s phone flash with the notification. It was done.

“There. Now we can make out.”

She pulled me down on the mat with a laugh.

Chapter Twenty

I figured I might as well stay the rest of the day, since it was beautiful, and I could film a class in the yard. I ended up doing two after feeling so good about the first one.

Piper even had better equipment than I did, everything was top of the line. I wanted to ask her if I could borrow some of it, but that seemed overreaching.

Piper came out of her office when I was in the kitchen refilling my water bottle.

“Ready for lunch?” she asked.

“Absolutely.”

“I’m going to go grab something at Sweet’s and say hi to Linley and Charli,” Natalie said. “So I’ll be back in about an hour.”

She left and Piper started getting items from the fridge.

“She’s really supportive of this relationship, isn’t she?” I asked.

“She is. How do you feel about a wrap?” She held up some tortillas.

“Sounds perfect,” I said.

I kept telling myself I was going to leave in an hour, but then I kept staying.

For some reason, Piper’s house was very conducive to me getting a lot of work done.

I even set up a few meetings for private yoga clients.

This time, when Piper went to pick up Preston, I offered to stay behind and make everyone some juice.
