Moments In Time(60)
Author: K.K. Allen

I nod, fully aware of how turned on I am at the contrast of my fully naked body—save the tie—and his fully dressed attire. “Yes,” I breathe out, desperate for more.

“I’ll never forget it,” he says before taking another swipe of me with his tongue.

“You kept asking me if you could try it again. I thought you just wanted the practice.”

Jami nods, his nose grazing my clit. “I did but not because I wanted to taste anyone else. I was addicted to you, Violet. In every possible way. But there’s something I was never brave enough to ask of you then. I’d like to try it now.”

Anything, I want to scream. “Tell me,” I say instead.

He lifts himself from between my thighs and rolls onto his back with a grin. “C’mere.” Curious, I shift onto my knees and crawl above him. “Keep going,” he demands. “Until I tell you to stop.” I continue to crawl forward until I’m sitting with my knees facing the window. “Sit down.”

I lower myself slowly. Maybe too slowly because arms wrap around my legs and pull me down, right onto his mouth.

“Holy fuck,” I gasp.

His hands slide to my ass. He grabs my cheeks and, using them as leverage, begins moving me so that I’m slipping and sliding against his face in a steady but vigorous motion. He moves my hips forward, sideways, and in circles, until I know it’s only a matter of seconds before my strength is obliterated.

When my muscles become shaky, I reach down and hold on to his head as he devours me from inside out. He’s relentless, his mouth suctioning me in, repeatedly until I have no choice but to let go.

My breathing steadies, and I slip back down Jami’s body to thank him with a flavored kiss. “Who would have thought all these years later you’d give me yet another first?”

He grins and pushes the hair back from my face. “You have no fucking idea how happy it makes me to hear that.”

I bite down on my bottom lip and run a hand down the length of the tie that’s placed between my breasts. “I think I know how I can make you happier.”

He pushes his hips into mine so I can feel his monster erection. “By all means, Ms. Hart. I’m all yours.”

Chapter Thirty

VIOLET

Sex with Jami is officially my new addiction. After a full weekend of going round after round, taking short naps in between, and with little sightseeing to be had, I’m physically exhausted but mentally restored. Considering the whirlwind of the last two weeks, I needed that. And by the cocky smile on Jamison’s face, so did he.

“You could have at least taken me to the Space Needle,” I tease when we’re stepping away from the truck in the parking lot of Camp Bexley.

Jami shrugs and slings his arm around my shoulders. “Seattle’s a big city. I didn’t want to overwhelm you so soon. The visit was meant to be a much more intimate introduction. You know, to give you the lay of the land.”

I look up at him and laugh. “If that’s the case, then I believe all the lays of the land were intimately explored.”

He grins. “Glad you agree.”

“Mommy!”

I swivel around at the sound of Brayden’s voice reaching me from a distance. He’s running to me at full speed from the visitor side of the parking lot. At first, my heart jumps into my throat at the surprise of seeing him.

Confusion washes over me next when I think about the fact that Brayden is here and not at his father’s like he should be. But then I look up to see Trevor trailing Brayden with a concentrated look on his face, and panic races through me. I know that look. Trevor’s here to tell me something important.

Dread slowly drips through my veins. I look at Jami. “Maybe you should go in case he’s here for another fight.”

Jami shakes his head. “There’s not going to be another fight, Vi. Trevor and I agree about that.”

His response brings me even more confusion because he never told me the details of his conversation with Trevor. Just that they came to some kind of understanding. I chalked it up to a guy thing, but suddenly his explanation isn’t enough.

I kneel to greet Brayden with a big hug. “This is the best surprise ever,” I say as I squeeze him. Keeping him in my arms as I get back up, I face Trevor. “Is everything okay?”

Trevor shows visible signs of discomfort when he gives me a tight-lipped smile and shoves his hands in his pockets. “Can we talk alone for a minute, Vi?”

I look at Brayden, confused about how Trevor expects us to do that when a five-year-old is between us.

“Hey, Brayden,” Jami says, causing Brayden’s head to swivel toward him. “Want to check out the arcade?”

Brayden gasps. “Arcade?”

As much as I want to smile, laugh, and hand him over with no concern, I’m not sure how Trevor would feel about that. To my surprise, Trevor’s the one who responds. “Thank you, Jami.”

I set Brayden down and watch him take Jami’s hand. Together, they walk off toward the main building like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

Still stunned, I turn back to Trevor. “I’m sorry. You’re okay with that?” I gesture back to Jami and Brayden.

Trevor’s chest puffs out then deflates while his expression flickers between emotions. I can’t for the life of me tell what he’s thinking or feeling. “I am,” he says. “At least I’m trying to be.”

I stare back at him, trying to figure out why he’s here, but as I study him, I notice the fading bruises around his eyes. “How’s your nose feeling?”

Trevor chuckles. “A little tender, but the doc says I’ll be just fine. Did Jami tell you he and I talked?”

“He did,” I say slowly, not sure where this conversation is going. “He didn’t say much, but I know he felt pretty awful after he hit you. What the hell were you thinking, Trevor?”

Trevor sighs and squeezes his eyes shut for a second. “I’m not proud of my anger, Vi.”

I glare at him, my insides shaking. “Since the moment I told you I wanted a divorce, you have tried to control everything about my life. Spinning some terrible story to the judge in order to take as much custody from me as possible, spying on me at work, shaming me for what I do, and then keeping my dance studio in your clutches when we both know that studio is mine. It’s too much. When will you let me just move on with my life?”

He stands taller. “Right now. That’s why I’m here.”

I almost don’t believe his words. They seem too good to be true. Too easy. With Trevor, there’s always a catch.

“I’m here to tell you that I’ve already requested documents from the court to redo the custody arrangement with Brayden.”

“What?” My question is just a breath of air. I’m not even sure Trevor heard it. It’s like someone has just pushed wind into my sails—sails that have been deflated for far too long.

“You deserve just as much time with him as me.”

He holds up his hands in defense even though I haven’t uttered a single word. I’m too shocked to say a thing.

“You choose the days, the hours, the weeks. Whatever you choose, I know you’ll be fair. At least fairer than I’ve been.”
