Return to Me (To Me Series #1)(7)
Author: Lucy Darling

“Told you. I got you,” I say. My mouth drops to her pussy. Her sweet taste fills me as I drink her down. I press my cock into the bed, my hips jerking as I rut against it. I eat her sweet pussy as I stroke my finger in and out of her. She comes quickly the first time. I don’t stop. I keep eating her. Drinking down every drop of her I can get as I fuck the mattress, pulling another orgasm from her.

“Victor.” She cries out my name. I growl against her clit as my own orgasm hits me hard. My balls drawing up tight as I come on the sheets. My vision dances with black spots. Fuck, I’m not even inside her yet.

I kiss each of her thighs, not wanting to leave this spot, but I know her body can only take so much. I’ll let her rest for a minute before I have another taste. When I look up at her, she has a soft smile on her lips and her eyes are closed. My heart clenches when she reaches for me. I slip up the bed, pulling her into my body. She rests her head on my chest. I grab a blanket, pulling it over us as I play with her hair and listen to the sound of her breathing evening out. She snuggles into me, curling herself around me.

My wife is finally where she belongs. With me.

As I stand outside my building I wonder if I made the right choice. I am running again. What is wrong with me? Worse, my mind keeps wondering if Victor is going to chase me this time.

I didn’t run because I wanted him to come after me, but because everything has been too much. Victor had me feeling too many emotions for me to think clearly, so I knew I had to get away from him. I’m not sure I’m ready to face those feelings. Not now, anyway. Maybe he’ll get tired of me running.

He might be over it. He got some of what he wanted from me and maybe he’ll be on to the next thing. That’s how Victor operates. He sees something he wants and goes for it. Hunts it down until he’s got it and then it’s on to the next project. From what I know, he grows bored quickly. I left him before he could do it to me. I may be his wife, but that's only on paper. One that could easily be disregarded when you have the wealth that Victor does.

I reach into my purse, finding my keys as I enter the building. I give the doorman a smile before heading for the elevator. I still can’t believe I’d given Victor the slip. He was out cold when I woke up. In his defense, it was four in the morning. He had to be tired. I’d lost count of how many times we’d gone at it.

You didn't go all the way, my mind screams. No, we didn't. He’s been holding back. At first I’d been scared. The man was giant everywhere. I wasn't sure how we’d fit together. Then when all he did was kiss between my thighs, I started to lose my mind. Over and over he did that until I couldn't take it anymore and passed out. Only to be woken again with his mouth there. I thought he would never get enough but finally sleep took him.

I step off the elevator when it opens on my sister’s floor. If Victor is going to chase me down I can't just go home. I have to be smart about this. He will either be relieved or pissed when he wakes up and realizes I am no longer there.

Only time will tell which one of those things is true. I continue walking to my sister’s place. It’s convenient having her live in the same building as me. I know she’s tried to get in touch with me a few times but I purposefully haven't answered her texts and calls. Hopefully my little plan has worked for her and Colt.

I knock on my sister’s door, wondering if she’s even home. Normally she is but maybe Colt took her back to his place. It would be weird not having my sister so close to me anymore, but this would be good for her. Good for my asshole boss, too. I know they are going to be perfect for each other.

I think Madison might work some of that asshole out of him. I think about Victor. Oddly, I don’t want his assholeness to go anywhere. I find it charming. Damn it. I knock harder on my sister’s door, not wanting to walk in on her and Colt if they are doing the nasty.

“Fine. I’ll use my spare key!” I shout through the door.

“My sister!” I hear Madison hiss. I look behind me, thinking I hear the elevator. Oh shit. Has he found me already? The apartment door finally opens, revealing Colt. I don’t care that it’s him answering it. I dart inside, shutting the door before the elevator can fully open.

“You’re late for work,” I tell Colt. “Also I need to hide out here.” I walk over to the sofa and drop down. “Ahh, look.” I pick up Colt’s cell phone. “I thought this was connected to you. Seems as though it’s not another appendage after all.” I tease them both so they won’t start fishing about me and where I’ve been.

“I can go to work whenever I want.” Colt folds his arms over his bare chest. I snort a laugh at Colt trying to level me with a look but without his shirt on. I’m dying.

“Wait. Why are you hiding here?” Madison asks when she stops laughing with me. Her hair is a wild mess. Her lips are swollen. I wonder if I looked the same when I woke up this morning. More than anything, she looks happy.

“Why are you sleeping with my boss?” I toss back to get the attention away from me.

“Does this have anything to do with Victor Wolf?” How the hell does she know that?

“Never heard of him.” I look down at my nails, trying to play it off.

“I’m not sure if you set this up to avoid this Wolf guy or because you knew this would happen.” Madison motions between her and Colt.

“Are you both happy? Are you going to get married?” I think my plan worked for everyone.

“Yes to both,” Colt answers instantly.

“Then let's go with the second.” Colt’s phone starts to ring in my hand. “It’s him!” I hit the clear button but see it’s too late that it wasn't Victor after all. Oh well, Colt doesn't need to take any calls right now. He’s busy with my sister. “Oh, you're not going to threaten to fire me? You must be a changed man.” I give Colt a smirk, knowing I’ve won this round.

“Because that never works?” Colt pulls my sister into his side, and she stares up at him in shock.

“We’re getting married? You don’t think it’s too soon?” Madison asks him. Nah, Colt always knows what he wants. He never wavers. He’s in or he’s out. It is part of why I like working with him. He can be a cold jerk at times but I always know where he stands on something. If he’s saying he wants to marry my sister he’s not fucking around.

“Trust me. You two are a perfect match,” I mumble. I’m trying not to cut in too much on their moment.

“Do you want to wait? We have our whole lives to get to know each other. I don’t want to spend another night without you. I’ve already spent so many alone.” I look at Colt. He’s laying it on extra thick.

“Ahh. I didn't know he could be so sweet. Plus, I bet he pulled every bit of information on you that he could get. I’m sure he knows lots about you.” I wonder who he got to do the file since I wasn't there. I’m guessing someone in security.

“You’re fired,” Colt barks at me.

“You can’t fire me. I’m your sister-in-law.” I inform him of my extra power now.
