Love is Contagious : A Charity Anthology(400)
Author: J. Saman

“Hi,” Em twists her head and smiles a sleepy, half smile. Her back is pressed to my chest, her bare ass rubs against my crotch as she stretches. Even with her hair a mess, her makeup smudged, she’s still the most beautiful thing in the world. I curse myself for not appreciating it earlier and vow to cherish every movement with her from here on out.

I tighten my arm around her waist, needing to hold her closer. “Hi.”

She threads her fingers through mine, holding my hand to chest “So…”

“What?”

“You’re in bed. You’re normally gone before I wake.”

“I like it here.”

“I can tell.” She rubs against my erection and I groan.

“It’s morning. Shut up.”

“I’m not complaining,” she whispers, shifting her hips a little higher until I slide between her legs. She sighs, releasing my hand and brings hers up behind her to push her fingers in my hair.

I pull my hips back, before pushing them forward again, sliding along her wet heat. Over and over until we’re both panting and it’s no longer enough.

Gripping her hips, I angle her better and move myself into position, lining up with her entrance. Em doesn’t speak, a soft sigh escapes her lips as she circles her hips, easing back onto me slightly, until I thrust forward, filling her in one swift movement.

Em gasps and I groan, holding my position for a minute and enjoying the feel of being inside her. Her body stretched along mine, her fingers digging into my hair, my lips and teeth nipping at the corner of her neck. I draw back out, before pushing back in.

I’m in no hurry for this to end, and neither is she. Savoring every movement, every breath. Wanting and needing to drag it out for as long as possible.

I continue stroking in and out of her in long, slow, languid movements. Again and again, until she trembles in my arms and comes with my name on her lips at the same time as I find my release, biting down on her shoulder.

Rolling onto my back, I try to catch my breath. Em turns and rests her head on my chest and yawns.

“Tired?”

“Yeah, well someone kept me awake all night,” she laughs.

I press a kiss to the top of head. “I’ll make some coffee.” Swinging my legs over the side of the bed, I sit up.

Em moves to the pillow. “A girl could get used to this.”

“Coffee? I get you coffee every day.”

“Morning sex followed by coffee. Think it might turn me into a morning person.”

“You do seem more cheerful this morning,” I say, standing and stretching.

“Might have something to do with all the orgasms.”

“You’re welcome.” I grin and wink at her, like a douche, before heading into the bathroom to clean up and then make some coffee.

“Austin messaged me,” Ems says, coming into the kitchen a few minutes later and wrapping her arms around me, pressing her face into my back. I grip the edge of the counter so tight my knuckles are white. Guys a dick.

Okay, not really. Turns out I’m entirely capable of feeling emotions when it comes to Em. Austin seems to be bringing out the jealousy in me.

I grunt.

“Keely was very comforting last night after you carried me out of the party like a Neanderthal.”

“What’s the deal with those two?”

“You care?”

“Not at all. Just making sure he stays away from what’s mine.”

“I like this possessive streak.” Her hands flatten on my stomach and her heart beats against my back. “They’re childhood friends. Kind of like us. He loves her but doesn’t want to risk their friendship. He also said, Rome’s pissed he lost two thousand dollars to you.”

I laugh and turn to face her while the coffee brews. “Good. Might knock him off his high horse for a while.”

I drop my gaze down her body, taking in every curve, every pale freckle on her very bare, very naked skin.

“I want to propose something.”

She arches her eyebrow and eyes me suspiciously. “What?”

“In the future clothing is optional.” I grin and Em takes a step back.

Her eyes travel over my naked body. “I’m okay with that.”

I step toward her and she moves back until she’s pressed between me and the counter. “What now?”

“Kiss me,” she whispers, her breathing tickling my lips.

I grin, squeeze my hands tighter around her back, pulling her into me and capture her mouth with mine.

UNTIL I FOUND YOU

My entire existence was torn apart in a single night...

Five years ago my whole world was consumed by the girl who held my heart, until it all changed.

I walked away to save her from having to deal with me and my fractured heart.

I've been drowning under the weight of my guilt, pushing away the people I love most... to protect them.

From all that's left of me and the pain that follows me like a tornado.

I swore I'd never come back home to Arbor Creek. But here I am.

They say the truth will set you free, but when it's revealed, I'm forced to face the demons keeping me shackled.

I don't deserve her or her forgiveness, but I'd give up my life if it meant keeping her safe.

But this time around, she just may be the one saving me.

* * *

“Woah, we're half-way there,” I sing, as I furiously massage the conditioner into my hair. “Woah, livin' on a prayer.”

I’m not quite sure why I’m singing this song, but it’s fitting for this morning. I’m the type of person who sings when I’m trying to focus or when I’m in a hurry. Although I can’t sing when I’m trying to read a street sign. I’m one of those people who turns down the radio to see what’s fifteen feet in front of me. That’s neither here nor there right now.

The point is, I’m running late, and I need all the help I can get. It would come to the surprise of no one that I’m running behind schedule. In fact, if there’s one thing you could ever count on, it’s that I’m usually two or ten steps behind everyone else.
