Author: Brea Alepou

Vygus’s hand moved toward River, and without thought, River slapped it away. His grip on Vygus’s hair tightened. River didn’t know what his own body was doing; it just responded on its own. He didn’t fight it as he moved his leg in between Vygus’s and applied pressure against Vygus’s hard cock. Vygus let out a whimper, his whole body shuddering under River. Heat coiled inside of River—that was different than when the vampire caused arousal in him. This was all River’s doing. River put no further thought into it, assuming it was his own body that had decided to adapt to the situation and that was that.

“You have three minutes,” River said in a clipped tone devoid of all emotion.

Vygus’s green eyes looked confused, but River gave nothing else away. He just stayed still, applying steady pressure to the leaking cock under him. A minute ticked by, and River let Vygus know as much.

“Wh-at am I supposed to do?”

River yanked Vygus’s hair, making him stretch his neck out even more. “Do what you want in the next two minutes.”

Vygus eyed him for only a few seconds before his hips moved, dragging the damp fabric up River’s leg. When River didn’t move away or stop him, Vygus continued picking up pace. His hips moved so much he nearly made River topple over, but River held on to Vygus as the other man dry humped against River’s leg. Moans echoed around the room. He was sure if anyone stood close to the door, they would hear all of it.

River ignored his own body’s reaction, instead keeping watch over the time.

“Ugh, I’m close,” Vygus groaned.

River said nothing, but as the numbers changed on the clock on the wall, River eased his grip on Vygus’s hair and moved back. Vygus, panting for breath, looked at River with crazed green eyes.

“Your time is up.” River stood and glanced down at the bloody claw mark on his chest.

“What? I was almost there,” Vygus said. His lower lip popped out, and he fluttered his thick lashes at River. But it did not affect River, even if his cock jumped at the thought of continuing. River was more than just his body; he could lose himself in the physical desires his body demanded and fell prey to, but he wasn’t ruled by them.

River walked over to his bag and grabbed the towel he kept on hand and pressed it against the wound on his chest.

“I told you your time limit.”

Vygus let out a growl of frustration. “I could always drag you down here and continue,” Vygus said.

He could and there was probably nothing River would be able to do about it but adapt and accept. Simple, yet Vygus didn’t make a move to make it happen. River glanced down at the man who still sat on the floor, shirt bloody, front of his sweats damp from precome.

“What are you?” River asked.

Vygus smirked at him. “A werewolf.” He opened and closed his mouth, biting the air.

River had figured that was the case. Why a werewolf needed jiujitsu lessons, he didn’t know, but he didn’t care either.

River grabbed his bag and hefted it over his shoulder.

“There is another class in this room in a few minutes,” River said as he turned and walked out of the room. He didn’t turn back around at Vygus’s shouts or pay attention to the curious looks that were shot his way by people standing around the gym. River held his head high as he left the gym.

River held a small ball of hope that just maybe the werewolf would disappear and the vampire would lose interest. Then and only then River’s life would go back to the way it was. As he thought it, a part of him knew it wasn’t possible. He’d already accommodated the vampire completely into his life. River sighed. It was easier than juggling the blood clinics and making sure they each got different information. The werewolf, well… River hadn’t seen his usefulness just yet.

Impossible to Resist

Three classes had come and gone, and Vygus still came. The werewolf continued to challenge River, and each time River successfully put him in a hold, Vygus and River would both get hard. River would allow Vygus to hump against his leg, and the werewolf came sometimes and other times was left wanting. River on the other had had yet to come, and if he kept ignoring it, he was going to lose the control on himself he valued.

Vygus sat on the mat, his shirt off and his body dripping with sweat. River found himself watching a particular drop slide down Vygus’s back, following the outline of defined muscles. Not that it was Vygus’s concern, but River told him anyway of how he’d got involved with a vampire. Vygus sat there cross-legged. The class was over, and yet River didn’t feel the burning need to walk away.

“You know, I’m looking for an alpha,” Vygus said.

River’s eyes shot up, and his head hurt instantly at the words that just came from Vygus.

“What does that have to do with me?” River asked.

Vygus didn’t break eye contact as he got up on his knees, placing his hands on his legs, and gave River an endearing smile that made River’s stomach turn. Something else was going to fuck with his life, wasn’t it?

“You’re perf—”

“Not happening,” River said.

He was done with stretching his time and his schedule. Vygus made a whiny noise in the back of his throat that River ignored. Vygus was older than him by only a year, but still he acted as if he was a child at times or better yet a puppy. River had no need for a puppy; they were unpredictable balls of energy, and River lived his life with the utmost calm and control. River grabbed his bag that was near the door and went to leave only for Vygus to beat him to the door. His hand crashed against the glass door with so much force River was surprised it didn’t break.

“Turning a human is easy, and you fit the ideal of an alpha,” Vygus said.

River had no desire to become a werewolf or vampire or anything else.

“No, there is no room in my schedule to fit in such a thing.”

Vygus looked thoughtful. “So, if it fits in your schedule, then you can do it?”

River didn’t like the sound of that.

“Then be my master,” Vygus said.

River was thoroughly shocked. His brain had no answer to that. He hadn’t expected it, and honestly, he wasn’t sure what Vygus was asking for.

“You won’t have to turn into anything but yourself.” Vygus gave him a smile, and River wasn’t so sure Vygus was all right in the head. Then again, who was he to judge.

“Vygus crowded him and pressed his body up on River’s. The heat from Vygus penetrated even past River’s gi.

“Before you say no.” Vygus pushed his other hand inside of River’s gi. Sharp claws scraped against his skin down the side of his torso. “You’re just human—I could easily kill you right here and now. Tearing your flesh from your bones before anyone even noticed.” His words were said on a growl.

It was said with truth, and River relaxed his back on the door. He was placed in another predicament. Gone was the gym instructor River, and he was back to his usual self. The one who could adapt as needed. River closed his eyes and took a measured breath.

“Even in this situation you know what I am and how dangerous I am, but there is not a drop of fear in your scent.” Vygus pressed his nose against River’s throat, taking a big whiff.
