Addictive(14)
Author: Lola Finn

 I gasp, blushing immediately. “No.”

The Christmas before he left, I planned on sneaking out and buying him a gift like I had the year before, but my mom caught me. She thought it was ridiculous to spend money on a present when I could give something from the heart and mind—aka we’re dead broke and can’t afford to buy ourselves gifts let alone someone else. Long before the mansion I’m currently cuddled up in that’s nestled on the far side of a sprawling private summer resort.

So, one horrific, matchless brown woolen sock with wiggly eyes and pipe-cleaner lips later, I cringed, handing Knox his poorly wrapped gift. He opened it, studied it, asked what the fuck it was, and then nodded. Then he told me he forgot to get me anything even though I saw a perfectly wrapped box in his locker. A few days later he gave me a chipped coffee mug that said, Happy 40th.

He nods, biting his lip. “It’s in my room.”

My eyebrows shoot up, and he quickly adds, “Hidden.”

I sigh, and his hands slide up to my waist. “What did you really get me that year, anyway? I know you didn’t really get me a second-hand mug.”

His eyes drift before he tries to look away, so I grab his face in my hands to stop him.

“Knox, what did you get me?”

He blows out a breath. “A bracelet…with charms and shit on it. I picked it up at some vintage jewelry store the week of winter break I was stuck in New York. Our mom bailed on me and Kennedy after the first day for some mega yacht in Belize, so we wandered around the city, bored out of our minds. Ken found a set of earrings, and I thought of you when I saw the bracelet.”

I stare at him, not quite sure what to say. He never wanted to talk about his mom, especially after he would visit her, and given the set of his jaw, he’d rather not now either.

“Why did it remind you of me?” I ask quietly.

Knox huffs out a breath, shaking his head. “Because everything reminded me of you. I was consumed by you, Leigh. Fourteen and in love and no idea what the hell to do about it.”

I swallow, my heart thudding. “Whatever happened to it?”

His lips turn up into a sexy smirk. “It’s in my room.” Then he leans in and whispers, “Hidden.”

When I move like I’m going to go find it, he tugs me against him and locks my arms behind me with one of his large hands wrapping both my wrists. We’re chest to chest, mine rising faster the longer he looks at me. The fire builds and burns until Knox’s lips crash into mine, and I’m lost in his kiss, and I know exactly what he means about being consumed.

Chapter Ten

Leighton

Kisses slowly slip up my inner thigh, coaxing me out of a dream. Or maybe I’m still in one. I shiver at the heat of his breath touching my bare pussy right before Knox’s hot tongue licks all the way up my slit. I moan, moving my hips as his lips latch onto my clit.

I have no idea how he is functioning already. After I rode him in the recliner, bouncing and coming on him while he released inside me, we fell asleep in the theater, cuddled up together in a post-orgasmic haze. I woke to him carrying me upstairs a few hours ago, and he pinned me to the inside of his bedroom door, taking me again before we crashed onto the mattress.

I’ve never slept harder in my life. Perfect, sated, blissful, wrapped in Knox’s arms sleep. And so far, the wake up is even better.

“Knox,” I whimper, reaching down to thread my fingers through his hair.

“How sore are you?” he growls into my pussy. “Because I really want to fuck you against the shower wall.”

Two of his fingers slip inside me, and I shudder, rocking against them. The dull, delicious ache between my legs reminds me of every second from last night, and I never want it to go away.

“You’re so fucking wet, baby.” Knox drags his fingers against my G-spot and bats my clit faster with his tongue, sending scorching heat through my tightening core.

“Fuck, Knox, make me come. Please—”

 “Leighton!”

My eyes fly open for the first time since I woke up when my mom shouts my name from down the stairs.

“Shit.” I sit up to get out of the bed, but Knox wraps his arms around my thighs, sucking hard on my clit, and I disintegrate back onto the pillows. “Knox…” My hands push at his head, but he only flicks his tongue over my hard little nub faster. “Oh God, Knox.”

“You wanted to come, Leighton.” Letting go of one leg, he pushes his fingers deep inside me again. “So come.”

His face buries in my pussy, and I drag a pillow over my face, moaning out the pleasure rocketing through me. As he strokes me just right, I feel the orgasm building fast, and my toes curl at every delicious lick.

My mom calls for me again, closer this time, but I’m too far gone. Too under Knox’s spell.

“Don’t stop,” I pant into the pillow, humping his face without shame as I spiral higher and higher. “God, Knox. Yes. Yes!”

My thighs tighten around his head while I come hard all over his fingers, my clit pulsing on his tongue. I melt into the mattress, quivering at the waves of ecstasy rolling through me. Knox groans like he’s starving. He sucks and licks me through my climax until the last cry tears out of me. His mouth slows to bring me down into a melted, whimpering mess.

When he pulls back, his dark, heated gaze sends one last shiver shooting down my spine before we hear footsteps in the hallway.

“Leighton?” My mom softly knocks on the door. “Are you up, sweetie?”

Knox bolts out of the bed and scoops his clothes off the floor as I rush to pull on my robe.

“Just a second,” I call back, tying the string. “I’m not dressed.”

I quickly throw my hair up into a messy bun and catch a glance of my flushed face in the mirror. Then Knox appears behind me, his hair a sexy mess from my fingers and his hard cock jutting up to his abs. He clasps my chin and twists my head around to crush his lips hard to mine.

“I’m pretty sure I’ve seen almost everything there is to see, doll,” she says through the door.

Knox runs his mouth up to my ear. “Not as much as I have, doll.” He nips at my earlobe, and I bite down on a smile as he disappears into the bathroom.

With my hand on the knob, I take a deep breath before I pull the door open. My mom tips her head to the side the second she sees me, her brow furrowing, and I panic. Do moms have some super power that tells them their daughters had sex?

But then she pouts out her lip. “Forgive me?”

“Uh…” I trail off, noticing Brent stepping out of the den down the hall, but I force myself to stay focused on the parent at hand. “What am I forgiving you for?”

She steps around me into the room. “For running off all weekend. I promised we’d spend them together, and the first one I fuck it up.”

I smile a little. My mom gave up trying not to swear in front of me when I was six, claiming an artist can’t curb their expression in one area without jeopardizing another.
