All Of My Friends Are Rich(33)
Author: Michael Sarais

‘Definitely,’ I said. ‘What did you have in mind?’

‘Well, I have a really big room upstairs. I could order us something to drink, we could watch some TV. Did I mention the room has a Jacuzzi?’

‘That sounds lovely, Phil.’

It really did.

‘Obviously, I am aware this was not part of our original agreement, but don’t worry, you’ll definitely be—’

‘Let’s just go,’ I interrupted. ‘It’ll be nice to relax a little.’

We both got up, and he started walking in front of me to make way. I brushed my hand against his huge back. I wanted to let him know I was actually having a good time.

Phil was staying in the King Astor Suite, one of the biggest hotel rooms I had ever seen. The décor was white, blue and cream. It had a living room, with a sixty-inch television and a gramophone. Everywhere I looked there was something that screamed luxury. There was a basket full of goodies on the bed with Phil’s name on it. There were chocolates, pastries and a trolley full of bottles. I was in awe.

‘Would you like a drink? I believe there’s just about everything here, but we can always ask reception to bring whatever you want.’

My stupid face was still looking around the freaking five hundred square foot room, when I realised he was talking to me.

‘I’ll have a bourbon with ice if it’s there,’ I said, while scouting the trolley for a bottle of bourbon. It was there.

‘At your service,’ he said, while pouring it into a glass. ‘Get comfortable. There are slippers, or even a bathrobe if you want.’

‘I am actually dying to see the Jacuzzi,’ I said, with my eyes lighting up, like a child.

‘The bathroom is down there,’ he said, while pointing at a semi-closed door next to the gigantic bed.

I entered the room, and everything was bright and white. There was a TV in the bathroom, but the most impressive thing was that the hot tub itself was humongous. I appreciated the fact that Phil was a big man, but I was not expecting for us both to fit in it comfortably. The tub was controlled electronically, and you could just press a few buttons for it to fill up in the exact temperature you wanted it to be. As soon as I activated it, the tub didn’t take much time to be filled.

I stripped naked and put a bath towel around my waist. I popped my head out of the bathroom and called Phil.

‘So, are we trying this thing together or…?’ I asked, in a flirty way.

Phil was removing his jacket and tie.

‘Together…?’ he stuttered, while looking at my bare chest.

‘Yeah, I thought the whole point was to continue talking,’ I said, giving him a big smile.

‘I didn’t pack any swim shorts.’

‘I didn’t either, just get in.’

I grabbed my bourbon and put it on the side of the tub. I got in it and it was steaming hot. It felt incredibly good. Phil walked into the bathroom soon after, covered by his bathrobe. He took it off slowly, as if he was really conscious of stripping naked in front of me.

He quickly made his way down into the tub to minimise the time I could potentially stare at him.

‘Isn’t it nice?’ I asked, while extending my legs.

‘It is!’ he responded, with enthusiasm.

Phil didn’t have one single hair on his body. I couldn’t see his nether regions as a big flap of belly fat was covering them, but as far as I could see, the guy was as smooth as a dolphin. The bubbles were noisy, but unbelievably relaxing. I hadn’t planned an evening like that, but it certainly surpassed my expectations.

‘You have a really great body,’ Phil said, while looking at my chest area.

I was flattered, even though I knew I suffered from some form of body dysmorphia that would make it impossible for me to accept such compliments. However, I was aware I was bathing with a morbidly obese person and saying shit like, ‘Stop it, I’m so fat,’ wouldn’t be well received, so I thanked him, like the much more adjusted person I strived to be.

‘You know, you’re very different from what I expected,’ he confessed.

‘What do you mean?’

‘Well, it’s embarrassing to admit, but I have done this before…with others.’

‘I imagined that.’

‘But it’s never been like this. I know what ‘paying for company’ sounds like, but I do get lonely during work trips. I’m always by myself, and it’s nice to just unplug and hear someone’s story. Perhaps someone I wouldn’t have had the chance to meet otherwise.’

‘I can get behind that,’ I said, while staring at the bubbles. ‘It started as a thing I’d do to stroke my ego. It was almost a way to prove to myself that my ex wasn’t right. It was a way to tell myself that people would even pay to be with me. It was going to be some easy money and I could finally get over the velvet rope and get to where my friends are…feel like them for once.’

‘Have you ever thought you may be a lot more than a pretty face and a good body?’

‘No.’

‘You’re well-spoken, you’re kind, you’re interesting, and I got this just by being with you for an hour.’

My eyes were getting glossy. I hardly ever got gratuitous compliments. I’d usually get those from a very drunken night with Sara, where we’d tell each other how pretty and how amazing we were.

‘Thanks, Phil.’

‘If writing is what you want to do, just give that a try. No one is going to believe a writer with nothing written,’ he said while tucking my hair behind my ear. ‘And your friends are your friends because of who you are. They don’t need you to be rich or to be spending like crazy. It’s all in your head.’

‘Yeah, maybe.’

The conversation was getting a tad too personal for hot tub banter. I needed for it to steer into much lighter territory, so I sat closer to him.

‘Now I’ll hear you better,’ I said, while putting my hand on his naked thigh.

‘Fine by me,’ he stuttered, nervously.

‘So why do you feel lonely, Phil?’

‘I live by myself, I work in a big private office, and I travel by myself. There isn’t much room to make friends. I always assume people want something from me.’

‘I understand. I can be your friend.’

‘Ha, you’ll be running away from here afflicted by boredom if you become my friend.’

‘I am not bored, Phil,’ I whispered, while giving him a soft, tender kiss on the lips.

I knew what I was doing. I was conflicted about making a physical move. He didn’t request it, but I knew he wanted it. I knew I had to give him something for us to cultivate this ‘relationship,’ but at the same time I was scared he was going to misinterpret my intentions.

He closed his eyes and kissed me back, with his big, doughy lips.

‘Leo, please don’t feel like you have to…’

I interrupted him by putting my tongue into his mouth. His hands were placed behind my thighs. My cock was surprisingly getting really hard over it. I guided his hands to grab it, so he could feel it, and he sighed. I was trying to find his, but I couldn’t get to it easily.

‘Let’s get out of this tub,’ I murmured.
