Bowed(19)
Author: M.V. Ellis

But then I’d woken up, and it was as though my recollection of what had happened differed from everyone else’s.

“Why are you asking him that? We’re all adults, why would it be something that he’s done?”

“Because I know I had a few drinks yesterday, but I remember exactly what happened, I didn’t do shit wrong, which only leaves him and you. I know my best friend, and I know my girlfriend, and if anyone’s going to have fucked up, it’s him, so...”

“That’s not fair. He’s not the cause of all the world’s problems.”

“I’m not saying he is. I’m just saying that of the three of us, he’s the most likely to have screwed shit up.”

“You know he’s sitting right here, and can hear every word, right?” Rome’s voice was tight.

“I know, but if he’s not going to tell me what the fuck is eating him, then I think it’s fair game for me to talk to my girlfriend as though he’s not here. So where was I?” I turned my attention back to Quincy.

God, she was beautiful. No make-up. Hair a mess of curls she’d said would take more time than we had to fix, so she’d pulled it up into a pineapple on top of her head and called it good, rocking fitted black sweats and a hoody, and still she was the most fuckable woman on the planet.

“Come on, King, there’s no need to be like that.”

“Be like what? Why are you defending him?”

“I’m not. Because there’s nothing to defend him for.”

“Isn’t there?”

“And what the fuck is that supposed to mean?”

“It means what happened while I was asleep? When we went to bed, everything was great, we were all in that post-coital daze, and life was sweet. I wake up, and the two of you can barely look at each other, you’re both tight-lipped and quite obviously hiding something. So I’ll ask you again. What the fuck happened?

“I’ve already told you nothing happened, and so has Rome. Whether you choose to believe us or not is entirely up to you, though I will say that I’m getting pretty tired of the jealous-boyfriend routine, and I told you yesterday that I’m not some plaything for the two of you to fight over. You need to snap the fuck out of it, or I’m out.” She was right, of course, but I just couldn’t figure out the vibe between them, yet I knew there was something, and it was getting under my skin.

“No I’m out.” Quincy and I both looked across at Rome who was sitting in the seat facing us in the private jet.

“What?” We spoke in unison.

“I should have stuck to my guns last time. I said this wasn’t working out. I swear to Jesus, I’m better sitting in a fucking padded cell somewhere, than in the middle of this shit.”

“What shit?”

“This fucking train wreck between the three of us. My nerves are shot as it is. I’m done.”

“No!” The force with which we both yelled out at him surprised me, and him too, if the look on his face was anything to go by. He put his hands up in mock surrender. “Okay, okay, cool your jets,” He flashed his legendary grin, and indicated to the plane. “ No pun intended. Say what you really feel, guys. I mean, don’t hold back.” He was chuckling to himself.

“Sorry. It’s just that I really think if anyone needs to go, it’s me. Last in, first out, and all that. You guys have been friends since the dawn of time. You have that unbreakable stronger-than-blood bond thing going on. You can’t let an interloper tarnish that. Besides, this”—she motioned between Rome and me—“will outlast any relationship.”

I turned sharply to her. “And what is that supposed to mean? Do you view us as just a temporary thing? Something to pass the time while we create the album and are on the road on tour?”

“I’m not even going to dignify that with a response, because frankly, it’s beneath me, and it’s also beneath you. Honestly, I think maybe we could all use a little space. I mean, I’d expect acting out like this from Rome. No offense Row—”

“None taken.”

“But not from you. You’re supposed to be the levelheaded one out of the two of you. Hell, scratch that, out of the three of us.”

She was right, and in most circumstances, I was the levelheaded one, but something about her drove me fucking crazy, more so lately, and had me acting accordingly.

She stood up, and began pacing the aisle while Rome and I watched. “I think when we land I’m going to Dee’s. Just for a few days. I agree with Rome—we all need some space. I’m not saying permanently, just while we get our heads together.”

“For the love of fucking God! Nobody is going anywhere. Unless it’s over my dead body. Do you hear?” I stood up as my voice boomed around the small cabin.

Quincy moved to start pacing again, but I grabbed her hand and pulled her hard to me. Not only was her stalking back and forth giving me whiplash, and making me feel completely uneasy, it was also giving me the rage-fueled boner from hell. I was horny to the point of point of delirium.

“What are yo—” I kissed her like the plane was going down, and she was my oxygen mask. She resisted initially—like me, she was bristling with anger—but soon enough, her body started to melt into mine, while her mouth expressed her anger and frustration.

I turned quickly, so that we’d swapped places, and I had my back to the aisle, while hers faced Rome. Then I walked us backward to the seats. In particular, Rome’s seat.

I pulled my mouth away from hers, and pushed her shoulder hard, so that she unbalanced. Her look of shock was replaced by one of understanding, as she fell into Rome’s waiting lap. Her eyes widened again as, no doubt, she landed on his very prominent erection.

“What’s going on?”

“Well, on the last tour, I seem to remember you saying something about not being a member of the Mile-High Club.” She looked shocked.

“We can’t do that here. The stewardess will—”

“Mind her own business until we land, if she needs to. That’s the beauty of private planes, you know this as well as anybody.”

“But—”

“No buts, except yours. Damn girl, the way you’re sitting on my dick is killing me right now. Rome’s voice was a strained growl.

“Stand and lift up for a second.” She hesitated for a moment, before lifting herself slightly, taking my hands to steady herself, and keeping her gaze trained on mine the whole time. Rome tugged Quincy’s sweats down to her thighs, exposing her ass. I tore my gaze from hers, magnetically drawn to the image of her butt hovering above him as he undid his jeans, and freed his dick.

I leaned forward a little, to get a better view as Quin slid herself onto him. Fuck me sideways, if I’d ever seen anything hotter, I couldn’t recall it at this point. The vision of Rome’s dick slipping inside her, and the look of sheer ecstasy on his face as she settled there, eclipsed everything.

I looked back down at Quin, only to find her with a similarly blissed-out expression as she adjusted herself on top of him. Her eyes were unfocussed, and her jaw was loose as her head lolled back slightly.

“Gently does it.” We’d all get there too soon if we didn’t take it easy. Quincy began swirling her hips agonizingly slowly.
