Together We Stand(53)
Author: J.A. Lafrance

She made sure nobody was looking and slid into Jackson’s room again, locking the door and covering the window. “About time,” Jackson said from the comfort of his hard as a rock hospital bed. “What is it about you,” she asked as she slid her shirt and bra off. “Tempting?” “I can’t get you out of my head,” Emily said as her scrubs hit the floor. “Good. That was sorta my plan,” he joked. “You are trying to get me in trouble.” “Not exactly. Taking advantage of a crappy hospital bed, yes.” Emily shook her head as it said over and over that she was breaking the rules. She silenced it the minute Jackson grabbed her hand and pulled her to him. He was sitting up on the side of the bed. “You’re…” He kissed her, devouring her lips. “I was waiting for you.” She shook her head. “Bad influence.” “I agree,” he teased. His hands slid to her waist. “What,” Emily asked. “Nothing. Just commenting on how sexy you are. And you are doctor of mine.” She was about to re-think everything when he pulled her to him and kissed her. “What do you want doctor,” he said tauntingly. “I’ll give you a hint,” she teased as she leaned her long, lean body against his. He turned her around, leaning her over the edge of the bed. “You’re supposed to be resting,” she teased. “Oh I will.” Emily shook her head and within a matter of seconds, she was face down on the bed, bent over. “Jackson.” “Wall?” “I don’t want us making noise.” “Oh that’s totally up to you,” Jackson whispered. He pulled her hips to his. “How bad do you want it,” he asked quietly. “Enough to get you out of my mind.” “That’s not exactly part of the plan. I was hoping to stay there a long while,” Jackson said.

“I…” Before the words escaped her lips he was plunging into her again. It felt so good. So full. So unbelievably hot. They kept going and going until her body begged for forgiveness then he had her pinned against the wall. When her legs almost crumbled, he turned her towards him and picked her up, pinning her back to the cold concrete wall and kept pounding in and out until he felt her body crumble. He leaned her back onto the hospital bed and went again and again until he was left devoid of any sense of energy. He collapsed on top of her and crashed into his release. “Damn,” Emily said. “What,” Jackson asked as he slid to the other side of the too tiny bed and pulled her tight against him, turning her into the little spoon. “My legs are still shaking,” Emily said as she did her best to catch her breath. “I sorta planned for them to stay that way,” Jackson whispered as she got shivers down her spine. “You are impossible. How the heck do you have all of this energy?” “Because for once, my needs are just as important as everyone else’s.”

“What’s with the extra security by his room,” Emily asked knowing that he would know if nobody else. “You don’t know who he is?” “Jackson, I don’t have time to watch TV and catch up on gossip.” “He’s married to Piper Adams.” “The country music singer?” “Yep.” “That’s who Piper is?” “They’re telling her when she wakes up that he’s here.” “Why were you hurt then?” “Head of security.” Emily shook her head. His job meant bossing people around all day just like hers. “Now, how long do we have?” “Until I get a message that they need me.” He kissed her neck. “Good.” “Why? What else are you planning?” “So much you’d be surprised.” “Sort of already was.” “Oh doctor of mine. You have no idea what else I have planned.” She nodded off out of complete exhaustion for what felt like 10 minutes.

When she woke up, He was kissing up her leg and had just reached the apex of her legs. “What…” “Shh.” “What are you doing?” “Seducing the doctor. New game I created,” he teased. When he found the one spot that had every muscle tensing and throbbing, he concentrated there. “Oh my god,” Emily said. He kept going, taunting her with his fingers and working his way up her torso kiss by kiss. “Now, what were you saying you wanted?” Her toes were curling so tight they were numb. “You aren’t playing fair,” she replied quietly. “Who ever said fair was fun?” He kept going as he kissed her and she nibbled at his lip. The feel of his barely there stubble against her neck was even more tantalizing. “I swear they need methadone for this,” she teased as his lips enveloped hers and she cried into his mouth. “Shh,” he teased with a Cheshire grin. “That’s just the appetizer.” She could barely even move by that point. Her entire body was throbbing a painful ache. The only cure was him.

“Tell me what you want,” Jackson whispered. “More.” “Now, that can be arranged.” He nibbled her earlobe and had sex with her again. Hard, not exactly sweet and romantic, sex that had her burying her head into the blanket to silence her cries of passion. When she couldn’t stand another minute, her body crashed around him and he kept going. Her on top, Jackson in her sideways then he slid her to her feet and pinned her against the bed again. “What,” Emily asked. “Don’t move.” “What are you doing?” he pinned the bed against the wall and kept going until her legs were wrapped around his neck and he was plunging into her over and over again. “Making use of the room,” he teased. When he finally collapsed into her arms, she could barely feel her legs. Leaving the exact spot they were in was almost impossible. “What,” Jackson asked. “How’s the wound?” “Do I have one?” Emily smirked and Jackson turned her so her head was on the pillow. “And,” he teased. “You aren’t tired?” “A little.” “You’re supposed to be resting. You were shot,” Emily said. “Call it pain relief,” he joked. Emily shook her head and turned to face him. “What are you doing to me?” “Taunting until you give in.” “Jackson, seriously.” “I’ve gone 2 years without a woman of my own. I’ve watched my boss with woman after woman and, I have to admit, I was a little jealous.” “You don’t have a life?” “Not much of one.” “Pent up sexual frustration?” “Something like that. You’re healing that wound.” “I bet,” Emily said as her hand slid to where his bandage was. “I need to change it.” “Not right now you don’t.” He kissed her and pulled her on top of him. “Jackson.” Whatever you want.” She shook her head. “I’m not that woman Jackson.” “Meaning?” “I can’t just mount you like a horse.” He kissed her. “You sure?” She nodded. “I just…” He kissed her again, devouring her lips. He pinned her against the bed and teased the entire way down her torso.

“So you opt for slow torture?” “We only have tonight before I leave.” “I could arrange for a second night.” “Oh really? And how are you doing that Doctor Emily?” “If you popped a stitch…” He kissed her. “You could just come home with me.” She barely had a moment to answer before the hot, intense kiss distracted her from thinking straight. Her body was trembling in his arms. He pulled her legs around him and leaned in tight against her. “What,” Jackson asked. “If I didn’t know better, I’d think you had an energizer bunny in there.” “Want an up-close examination?” “Not on your life. I know better.” He kissed her again and devoured her. Every inch of him was almost melting into her. “How did this room get so damn hot?” Jackson smirked. “All you sexy,” he teased.
