Dirty Truth : A High School Bully Romance(26)
Author: K. Walker

“Oh, no, no prize. But if you lose, I might just have to do something to make everyone in this stadium know exactly what you’re packing down there.” I ran a finger along his bicep, and he sucked in a breath, his eyes going wide. “The girls in the audience might just start a riot. And, even if they don’t, you’ll have to face your father and brothers with your family jewels proudly displayed.”

“You’re evil,” Wes hissed. He glanced down at himself as if to make sure he wasn’t already standing at attention. But while his ample package was still outlined for everyone to see, it wasn’t quite at its full glory just yet.

“Consider it an incentive to win. And just remember, I don’t sleep with losers. So after you’re done strutting it around, you’ll have to settle for your hand to take care of it later.”

Wes shuddered and shook his head. Then, he smirked before kissing me on the cheek. “You drive a hard bargain, but I guess I’ll just have to kick some ass out there for you, won’t I? Not that I was planning on losing anyway. Can’t have some punk from a public school waltzing in here and breaking my winning streak.”

And there was the ego, still as strong as ever. Part of me hoped the public school guys would kick their asses just to knock his ego down a peg or two. But I knew that wouldn’t do anything other than result in Wes sulking around the house for the next week. As annoying as his ego was, I really didn’t want to deal with a sulking baby either.

“Go kick some butt,” I told him, then kissed him on the cheek. “I’ll be waiting when you’re done.”

Adrian looked over at me when I sat back down next to her, and I grinned. Deciding to let her in on the secret, I leaned over and whisper to her what I’d said to Wes. For a half-second, her eyes went wide in horror. Then, she started cackling.

“Oh. My. God! Why didn’t I think of that?” Adrian smacked her forehead, then laughed again. “Okay, next time, I’m checking with you before I make any plans! You’re clearly much better at this than I am!”

“Well, not everyone can be smart and pretty,” I teased. Unlike the guys from the other night, though, she caught the meaning right away, smacking me in the arm as she shot me mock glares. I giggled and bumped her with my shoulder, glad I had at least one friend who could keep up with my charming wit.

Once the matches started, I really regretted not having come and seen some sooner! Not that I knew a damned thing about the sport, but I really did enjoy the view. Then again, it was probably a good thing I hadn’t come before now, since if I had, there was a very good chance I’d have gone home with one of the other wrestlers, instead of Wes.

Especially since it would’ve pissed him off to no end, back when he’d seemed to have made it his life’s goal to be an ass to me.

But now, while I enjoyed the view, I wasn’t going anywhere with anyone other than Wes. And, in my completely biased and unprofessional opinion, Wes was certainly the best view out there. Between his muscles and his prime package, I didn’t have any complaints, other than every girl at both schools getting to see his goodies.

I should’ve made him put on a burka or something. I wasn’t a big fan of all those other girls ogling my man. And I certainly wasn’t a fan of the way Paisley and her cheerleaders looked at him like he was the last steak and they were starving hyenas.

Which was why, when Wes won his match and walked over to us, I jumped up and threw my arms around him. Knowing everyone would be watching the two of us, I pressed my lips to his, as he pulled our bodies tight together. By the time we broke the kiss, everyone in the gymnasium knew just who he belonged to.

“I thought you were only going to make me hard if I lost,” Wes whispered into my ear.

I pushed my hips against him, feeling just how much thicker and longer he’d gotten. “Not quite hard just yet,” I teased, keeping my voice low so no one else would hear me. “So you better get back over to your team. Otherwise, you might tear a hole in your singlet.”

Wes growled at me, and then kissed me one last time before rushing over to sit with the rest of the team again.

Hunter and Jaxson ended up winning their matches. And judging by the grin on Adrian’s face, she was going to be enjoying their reward just as much as they were. Maybe even more so.

Out of the dozen matches, our school only lost two. The cheering in the gym was deafening. It wasn’t much quieter than the football game had been, and at least that’d been outdoors! Inside, the sound just kept echoing until I thought my head was going to explode.

Once it was all over, Wes jogged over to join us. “Not going with the guys?” I asked, watching as most of them headed into the locker room.

“I’ll shower at home,” Wes smirked as his eyes ran up and down my body. I didn’t need to read his mind to know just where it was going, and I glared at him. It was bad enough Sebastian had caught us showering together last time, but then he’d gone and ratted us out to Chuck. I really didn’t need Lucas knowing about it as well.

“You good waiting here for Jax and Hunter to finish up?” I asked Adrian, and she nodded, standing up to give me a hug. “Have fun with your... reward... then.” I winked at her; then, our group joined the crowd of people pouring out of the gym and into the parking lot.

At least it wasn’t as crowded as the football game had been!

Chuck, Sebastian, and Todd went with Lucas to find Thomas and the SUV, and I followed Wes to where he’d parked his BMW. Once we got in, Wes leaned over and kissed me again. “At least now I don’t have to worry about who sees my family jewels,” he teased.

“Well, you better keep your hands off those family jewels while you’re driving. I’m not getting into a wreck because you can’t figure out the difference between the stick shift and your stick.”

“Oh, trust me. It’s more than a stick.”

I rolled my eyes. As if I hadn’t already seen all of his bits and pieces up close and personal. “Shut up and drive,” I told him. “And if you behave on the way home, maybe I’ll help teach you how to shower again. Because you, my friend, stink.”

Wes stuck his tongue out at me, but he started the car and pulled out of his parking spot, joining the line of cars trying to leave the school. And, to my surprise, he did manage to behave himself on the drive back to the house. And, if I was being honest, I was kind of looking forward to another chance to slip into the shower with him, assuming we could get away with it without the entire house knowing.

Thomas had just dropped off the rest of the family when we pulled into the garage. They followed us in. Chuck, Sebastian, and Todd were all laughing about some joke or another. Lucas was smirking, too, even if he was also rolling his eyes at the same time.

He walked over and patted Wes on the back as we all headed for the door into the house. “You did good out there today. I’m proud of you. The college scouts are going to be all over you.”

“Coach said a couple were going to be in the audience today, but he wouldn’t tell us which schools they were from.”

“You planning on joining Chuck at UCLA?” I asked. “Or are you planning on going somewhere else?”

Wes shrugged, but before he could respond, he nearly plowed into Sebastian, who’d stopped abruptly in the hallway. When we turned to look at why he’d stopped, we all saw Kathy standing there, glaring at the group of us.
