Hold Firm (Biker Daddy Bodyguards #1)(40)
Author: Sue Brown

“Your boy is safe. Nothing will happen to him,” Quick had said, and Quinn was sure he could hear Quick rolling his eyes over the long-distance call.

Ten steps forward, fourteen steps across, ten steps back.

He heard the sound of a car engine and flung open the door to find Cade getting out. Quinn didn’t see anyone else. He didn’t care. Fuck private, he couldn’t wait any longer. Quinn bolted down the steps to haul Cade into his arms and pick him up. Cade wrapped his arms around Quinn’s neck and his legs around Quinn’s waist, babbling in his ear. The only word Quinn could make out was ‘Daddy.’ He ground his mouth on Cade’s and they kissed hot and wet, not caring that they had an audience.

“Jeez, you couldn’t have waited five minutes,” Keith groused.

Quinn flipped him off, not breaking the kiss, then he carried Cade into the house and slammed the door.

“My luggage, Daddy,” Cade murmured against his lips.

“Can wait outside,” Quinn growled and stalked upstairs with Cade still in his arms, ignoring Mogs’s attempt to greet Cade.

He took Cade into his bedroom and set him gently down on his feet, shutting the door on Mogs’s protest. He looked down at his boy, noting the lines of fatigue and worry in his eyes. Despite Quinn’s kissing Cade, his boy was obviously still unsure of his welcome.

Cade stared up at him with such naked want that Quinn’s body went on full arousal.

“I can’t believe I’m back home with you,” he murmured. “It feels like an eternity.”

“It was an eternity,” Quinn declared.

Cade curled his fingers into Quinn’s knit sweater. “I was wrong, Daddy.”

“You were?”

“I wanted to show you I could cope without you. That I was strong enough to let you do your work, and I’d do mine.”

“Nothing is more important than you,” Quinn declared. “Nothing. I should have been there for you.”

“I needed you so badly,” Cade admitted.

“You should have called me, boy. I’d have been on the first plane to London.”

Cade’s eyes darkened at ‘boy’ as Quinn knew it would. “You were busy and then I was busy.”

“I would have come.”

“I know.”

They’d barely spoken to each other because of the time zones and their work. Communication had been reduced to messages and rare phone calls.

“I’m not doing that again,” Quinn said. “Next time, I go with you.”

“But your job.”

“I resigned from CDR last week. Properly this time. There’s no going back.”

This wasn’t true. Dominic would have him back in an instant if he called, but Quinn wasn’t leaving Cade’s side again.

“You did?” A myriad of emotions passed over Cade’s beautiful face: joy, relief, concern and, Quinn was sure, a little fear.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Quinn promised, holding Cade closer.

“You’re staying with me?”

“I will be sticking to your side like glue. I’m your new head of security.”

Cade leaned back in his arms, his eyes comically wide and his mouth pursed into an O. “You are, but how?”

Quinn sighed. “Do you want to talk about it now or can I strip you naked, throw you on the bed, and fuck you through the mattress first?”

Cade pretended to think for half a second before he hauled off his jacket and kicked off his shoes. Quinn stripped off his own sweater, then slipped his hands under Cade’s long-sleeved T-shirt and hauled it over his head. Cade hissed as Quinn’s knuckles grazed his soft skin.

Quinn was so hard he felt like his dick was ready to drill through his jeans. It was obvious Cade felt the same, from the bulge in his pants. Quinn sank to his knees and unfastened them. He pulled the zipper down slowly, looking up to see Cade’s reaction. Cade’s attention was solely focused on Quinn’s hands. Quinn could swear he wasn’t breathing.

“Boy,” he rumbled.

Cade looked into Quinn’s eyes. “Yes?”

“I love you.”

Cade’s eyes softened. “I love you so much, my Daddy.”

“Remember, whether I’m with you or not, I still love you.”

“You don’t think I’m weak for not wanting to leave you?” Cade sounded so unsure of himself.

“I’ve never thought you were weak,” Quinn said. “You’re a very strong man, Cade.”

He expected Cade to protest, but Cade seemed to draw strength from the words. “Touch me,” Cade begged.

Quinn tugged Cade’s pants and briefs over his slim hips and down his thighs. His slender cock bounced against his belly. “You’ve kept yourself smooth for me.”

“I shaved last night,” Cade confessed. “It wasn’t so easy to shave myself.”

Quinn smiled, pressing his face into Cade’s groin, feeling a couple of raspy spots where Cade had missed. He would make his boy smooth tomorrow. Now was for reconnecting. He inhaled his musky scent, having missed this so much. Then he kissed around the base of Cade’s cock.

“If you want to fuck me, you’d better get on with it,” Cade gasped. “I’m not sure I can wait.”

“You’ll wait as long as I want, boy. You’re not coming until I let you, or there will be consequences.” Quinn grinned, loving Cade’s shudder. “Have you touched yourself?” Quinn added the growl to his voice that he knew Cade loved.

“A couple of times.” Quinn had given Cade permission to masturbate while they were separated. “I wasn’t really interested, to be honest. I used up my energy on stage.”

Now his cock was very interested, leaving a sticky trail on his belly.

Quinn licked up the pre-come, swirling his tongue around the glans.

“Fuck me now!” Cade somehow managed to make that a plea rather than an order.

Quinn sucked hard once on his cock, drawing a long groan from Cade. Then he got to his feet, picked Cade up, and laid him on the bed as if he were the most precious creature in the world, which he was. He stripped off the rest of Cade’s clothing and focused on his own. Cade never took his eyes off Quinn for a second. Then he climbed on and settled between Cade’s legs. Cade drew his legs up, exposing his hole, his vulnerability a gift. Quinn bent forward and brushed his lips over Cade’s balls.

“Quinn,” Cade whined.

Quinn smiled. He reached for the condom and lube. Both of them wanted to go bare, but they’d agreed to wait until they got tested on Cade’s return. Quinn would never take a chance with Cade’s health. He’d booked appointments for the following day. He’d never take a chance, but he wasn’t going to wait a second longer than he had to.

A snick of the cap and cool slick pooled into his palm. He warmed it between his fingers and rimmed the delicate ring of muscle. Cade’s happy sigh when Quinn slid into him made the pain of separation feel a million miles away. He took his time to prepare Cade, as it had been many weeks, until Cade begged him to hurry the hell up. Not so much pleading that time. Then Cade apologized and asked him very nicely to hurry the hell up.

Quinn could have strung it out, but it wasn’t like he didn’t want to be inside his boy. He placed Cade’s legs over his shoulders and sank into the warm, welcoming heat.
