Promise Me(47)
Author: Ashlee Rose

She was the remedy I needed to get better, to get through this.

To become me again.

After half an hour of us laying naked on my old bed, Darcey stretched up then stood and walked over to my old dresser. My eyes were on her the whole time. I couldn’t help but watch her every move.

Her hips sashayed when she walked, her long golden hair down her back. Her bum was toned and peachy, her thighs thick but toned. She was perfect.

She bent down, her eyes looking over her shoulder and winking at me. I was hard for her once more. She grabbed a couple of my oversized old vests and some long cotton shorts and walked back over to the bed. She threw a set to me before slipping into the set she had grabbed for herself.

There was something about her in my clothes that made her look even fucking hotter than she normally did.

I sat up, pulling the shorts on first, then pushing my head through my vest and pulling it down. She climbed back onto the bed, swinging her legs over my body as she sat on my lap, smirking down at me as I laid back down.

“I love you, Conor Royce.”

“I love you more, Darcey Sawyer.”

“Hmm, I don’t know about that.” She giggled, her laugh so sweet.

“Oh, I do.” I nodded, smiling at her.

“I was thinking, I want a tattoo,” she said out of the blue.

“You do?” I asked surprised. She nodded at me, a silly grin back on her face. “Of what?”

“Not quite sure yet, I have a few ideas.” She nibbled on her bottom lip

“I think that’s great, I’ll take you to my guy,” I said, wrapping my arms around her and

pulling her down onto my chest. “I might get my nose pierced tomorrow,” I muttered into her hair.

“You’ll look even fucking hotter than you do now,” she said, lifting her head up off my chest, looking at me.

“Will I now?”

“Oh, yes.” She nodded eagerly. “How about another tattoo?” she asked.

“Hmm, not sure, maybe. I have one in mind though, but I won’t get that until we are married.” I winked at her.

“Tell me what it is,” she pried.

“Not a chance.” I shook my head laughing. “It’s a surprise.”

She sat up pouting, crossing her arms in front of her chest, pushing her boobs together, making a perfect cleavage that I just wanted to bury my head into.

“Don’t sulk, princess, it’ll be worth it,” I reassured her.

“Even better than the one you have of me on your stomach?” Her eyebrows raised.

“I don’t think so, nothing will ever top that one.” I laughed before pulling her back down to me.

“Anyway, enough about that,” I muttered as I held her close to me. This is where I wanted to be.

Always with my Queen by my side, until the day I die.

I woke from a peaceful slumber, the first night in the last eight months that I haven’t had a nightmare, and it was all because of her.

I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, then looked down at her sleeping in my arms. Where she belonged. Always.

I could literally look at her all day, everything about her was perfect. I didn’t move, too afraid that I would wake her. I must have laid staring at her for at least an hour. I didn’t even know what the time was, I didn’t care. I didn’t want to move from this spot.

I heard a sweet moan come from her as she started to stir, opening her eyes slowly, her eyes fluttering softly, her lashes sitting on her cheeks when she closed them for a moment before her striking blue eyes were on mine.

“Morning, king,” she cooed.

“Morning, my queen.” I leant down, kissing her on her forehead. “I love you.”

“I love you.” She smiled at me, stretching her arms up, a smirk leaving me when I saw her pert nipples straining against her vest.

“How did you sleep?” she asked sleepily, rolling on her side so she was resting her head on her elbow, trailing her fingers up and down my tattooed body.

“Like a log.” I beamed at her, my eyes glistening. “I feel so good, first night I’ve not been haunted by Chase’s cries.” My voice was quiet, my throat tight.

“That’s good, baby,” she said softly. “Talking helps, eh?”

“And the good sex.” I nudged her. “But, no, I agree, the talking really helped. I am going to get there, I promised myself that I would try and get through this, but I need you by my side. Forever.”

“Conor, I am never leaving you. How many times do I have to tell you that?” She smiled at me, leaning across to kiss me. My hand ran around the side of her face as I held onto her cheek, my heart hammering in my chest.

We got up and showered before making our way downstairs for breakfast with the family. I saw her blush as we walked towards the dining table, she was obviously concerned that they heard her last night. I couldn’t help but smile from the thoughts of her moaning my name last night. It was one of my favourite sounds.

“What are you two doing today?” Robyn asked Darcey.

“I’m getting a tattoo,” she said, her eyes instantly flitting to her mum and dad, my eyes darting down to my lap. Her mum’s face was a picture.

“You’re what?” Zara shrieked.

“Getting a tattoo,” Darcey said confidently this time. I looked up, Robyn’s eyes on mine, mine on hers as she was trying to hide her smile, her tongue pushing into her cheek as she played with her food.

I daren’t look at her parents, I knew what they were thinking.

“Why would you want to permanently scar and ink your skin?” Zara said, this time her eyes wide as she focused on me, her shocked eyes batting up and down my body.

“It’s art,” I said, smiling at her.

“I don’t know why you chose to literally cover every inch of you in tattoos, Conor.” Zara’s eyes were now on her eggs, pushing her fork round her plate.

“Well, not every inch is covered,” I muttered back, my eyes on Robyn then moving to Darcey when I heard Robyn snigger, Darcey’s hand squeezing my thigh hard under the table.

“Conor, you have them on your head, your neck, your body, your back, your arms, hands and legs. There isn’t one bit of skin that isn’t covered, well, apart from your feet.” She shook her head. “And I’m hoping a small, other area.” She went a crimson red.

“It’s not a small area,” Robyn piped up, bursting into tears of laughter, Zara not amused. Tanner’s eyes kept popping up from his newspaper occasionally eyeing us, but he wasn’t interested. Good man.

“Anyway,” Darcey snapped, her eyes on Robyn, before being back on her mum’s. “It’s only a small one, it’s got meaning.” She smiled. “And Conor is getting his nose pierced,” she slipped in. I threw her a look, rolling my eyes. Here we go.

“Conor... Really?” Zara said placing her knife and fork down on her plate, her elbows on the table as she rested her chin on her clasped, closed hands.

“Yup.” I rolled my tongue round the top of my mouth.

“Tattoos, ear piercings in places I didn’t even know you could pierce. You’re a walking, talking colouring book.” Zara’s lips pursed then spread into a smile as she let out a small giggle.
