Breaking the Rules (The Triskelion Series, #1)(34)
Author: Jodi Payne

“Do you like it? How do you feel?” Saul took the mirror away, leaving him blinking, trying to remember the image. Warm fingers landed on his ass, massaging, working deep into the muscle.

He cried out, the muscles there surprising him with how tight they were. When they let loose, he had a moment of panic, suddenly off-balance.

“That’s it. I’m right here, boy.” Saul shifted to steady him. “I’ve got you, just breathe. Relax.”

“Relax.” He nodded and leaned into those sure, strong hands, trusting them to hold him up.

“All right?” His Master let go. “There, see? You were fighting the bonds. You have to give in, it’s the only way this works. You want to fight, we can try that another day.” That was followed by a low laugh.

“That’s a whole ’nother scene.” He didn’t want to fight the ropes, but his body had a different idea.

“Oh, I like those scenes too. We’ll chat about the fantasy stuff, hm? This is the flogger.” The leather tails fell firmly but not painfully on his backside, Saul alternating one side, and then the other. “It’s iconic. It’s not ideal for ass play, but you said you’d never felt one so I thought I’d give you a taste.”

“’S different. Good thud.” He felt at once dazed and intensely focused.

“Breathe, boy. I’ll let you feel it a little. Relax. Less thud and more sting, I don’t have a lot of room to work.” The flogger made a swooping sound and the tips of the falls bit into his skin as they landed.

Troy hummed softly, stretching where he could as he processed the sensations.

His Master chuckled. “Oh, you’re going to be fun.” The next set of blows landed harder and came quickly; seven, eight, nine…

He rocked forward, driving his chest deeper into the mattress. He’d forgotten what this was like, having a master work him.

Saul went on, more than doubling that count before the blows stopped abruptly. “Tell me how you feel, boy.”

“Lit up, Sir.” Between his chest and his ass, he was all lit up.

“Good, good.” Saul put the flogger down and drew a hot, wet tongue across one sensitive ass cheek.

Troy’s eyes flew open, making him realize they’d been closed. He felt everything. Everything.

His Master licked and nibbled, soft, subtle torture up to his lower back and down again to the top of his thigh. “Mmm.”

Every exhale made him shiver, made him want to moan and beg. His skin was awake, every inch of it.

“Oh, good boy. It’s all right, let me hear you.” Saul’s fingers found his piercings, gently nudging and tugging on them, then slipped around to fondle his balls.

“Master…” He let a deep, needy groan slide out of him, and he leaned hard into the ropes, letting them hold him.

“Being mine means other things too. It means that I have a responsibility to you, and that I am responsible for you. That I make sure your needs are met. All of your needs.” Saul reached farther and made a fist around his cock, stroking it once from the root outward until there was sweet pressure against his ring. “Not just this one.”

A sudden inexplicable emotion flooded him, tears prickling at his eyes. He nodded for Saul, praying that the man didn’t see because he knew his Master would ask what was wrong and he didn’t know.

Saul released him, and both hands glided over his restraints, checking them, tugging here and there, squeezing his fingers and his toes. Safety checks were part of the process, but this felt more like a caress than anything else. “Everything… feel okay? Fingers?”

He wiggled them, one at a time, and cleared his throat. “Yes, Sir.”

There was a second of hesitation and then his Master sighed softly. “All right.” He felt Saul move away, dig around in the toolbox, and without another word his Master clamped a heavy ring around the top of his sac, weighing his balls down.

“Did I do something wrong, Sir?” He was wearing down—beginning to itch a little, the knowledge that those tears were going to come sooner or later weighing on him.

“No, my boy. I’m just not sure you heard me when I said all your needs.” Saul cleared his throat. “You’ve felt the crop before. I’m giving you four. Two for me, lighter to check my arm, and then two for you. Breathe.”

He didn’t know if he could breathe. He didn’t know if he remembered how. “Yes, Master.”

Saul didn’t keep him waiting. As promised, the first two were solid but not painful. His Master paced into view and he could see the concentration on Saul’s face. It was only a moment after his Master moved out of his sight that the second set of blows fell flat across his ass, one just slightly higher than the other, hard enough they seemed to burn into his skin.

The first tear fell without his permission, and he went to slap it away, tugging needlessly at the ropes. He let his head fall forward, hiding his face as he did his damnedest to breathe.

Saul moved to the top of the bed, sitting close to him and smoothing a hand over his scalp. “Your intentions are mine. You said it yourself. Your needs are mine. Let go, boy. You need to let go. You’ve surrendered everything but this.”

He groaned, his entire body shuddering. Why hadn’t anyone cared for him before this? In twenty years, why hadn’t anyone wanted him?

“Not yet? All right, boy.” Saul stood again and moved away. He knew the crop was coming again, he could hear it swoop through the air as Saul practiced behind him. “Two more.”

That was all the warning he got.

He bit out a scream, and he twisted to one side, fighting the tears and the ropes, needing Saul to help him. “Please!”

Saul sat with him again and stroked his head, his shoulders. “If you need out of the ropes I need a safeword, boy. Otherwise, I’ll assume you’re asking something else. ‘Please’ can mean so many things. You need something, and I need to help you. You may be bound right now but I’m the one whose hands are tied. You have to give me something. Something.”

He pushed into that touch, soaking up the connection. Calm down, man. Seriously. You’re scaring him. You have to control yourself. “That-that was… bigger than anything in recent memory. Can I rest here a second with you, please Sir?”

He thought he felt Saul hesitate, disconnect for just a second maybe, but then again maybe he was reading into something that wasn’t there. “Of course. I’m… I’m right here. You’ve worked very hard.”

“We both did.” Troy rested his head on the solid warmth of Saul’s thigh, letting his cheeks dry, cool off.

“You’re beautiful, you know. You really are.” Saul kept touching him. Soothing him with strong, warm hands.

“I don’t know how to process that yet, but I want to believe it.” His panic faded, thank God, Saul smoothing it away.

“I get it. But you’ll only ever get the truth from me.” Saul shifted, kissing the places where his fingers had been, starting with the top of his head. As the slow progression reached his ropes, Saul started to undo them.

“Thank you. I freaked a little bit on you.” And he felt a little like a fool for worrying Saul. He’d done it to Geoff too. Maybe he was getting older than he thought.
