Crimson Painted Snow(67)
Author: Brea Alepou

He looked around for a knife close by. A hissing sound hit his ears, and he turned just in time to catch Dash actually pissing himself. Laughter bubbled up out of Snoe. He stood up and brought his foot down on Dash’s face, kicking him so hard his head snapped back, hitting the chair and making him move a little.

“Now who’s the pissy bitch?”

Dash didn’t answer him, and that was fine; Snoe knew the answer already. He made his way to the main floor, blood stuck to his shoes, making the floor tacky as it dried. There were very few people left. Alia hadn’t been kidding when she said it was going to be a full house. Over three hundred in attendance, and that wasn’t including her side of the family, who had safely been taken out. Snoe picked up one centerpiece, a gold statue of Dash and Alia. It was hefty in his hand, and he tossed it up a few times.

Dash made his way back up to the small platform. Snoe went straight for Dash, getting on his knees and raising the statue above his head. Dash met his eyes, and Snoe didn’t know what he saw, but more tears spilled from Dash’s eyes. Snoe brought down the statue with all his strength onto Dash’s head. He did it again and again, even as Dash’s head caved from the blows and blood splattered all over Snoe’s hands.

Snoe’s arms and hands ached with every blow, and he felt a sense of relief and joy. When he no longer had the strength to lift the statue, he let it go. Breathing heavily, he tucked a stray piece of hair behind his ear. He looked to Hilde, hoping she’d watched some, if not all of it. Of her last child’s death, that last of her hope of gaining power gone.

Snoe stood. Ezyrah still wore his mask, but Snoe got the sense he was pleased with him. It shouldn’t have mattered, but it did.

Snoe realized, as the blood rushing slowed down and he caught his breath, that the room was silent. Snoe turned, and all that was left were the vampires and his wolves. Princess Morri made her way to Snoe. Blood soaked her clothes, not an inch of her uncovered.

“We are going to head out. This party was most enjoyable. I hope we can do it again,” she said.

“I don’t see why not,” Snoe said. He might not be around for the next one, but he was sure Morri could create the same bloodshed if she chose to. The vampires left, and all that was left were Snoe, his men, Ezyrah, and Hilde.

Snoe looked at Hilde. What kind of death did she deserve? In all his planning for revenge, Hilde’s last moments had never been clear to him.

Chapter Thirty-One

Snoe

Maybe Snoe should make her choke to death on Hina’s, Chase’s, and Dash’s blood. He shook his head—no, that wouldn’t work. He’d have to drain the bodies, and most of their blood was on the floor already. It was a wasted effort. She’d probably live, and that was not going to happen.

Back in the old days, when witches lived in hiding, humans used to burn them alive at the stake. Perfect. Snoe smiled at Hilde. She was finally going to get what was coming to her.

“Master,” Blade called out. “What do you need us to do?”

“Place the evil witch in the middle of the floor and clear off this platform. I want to be able to enjoy her screams from a good seat,” Snoe said.

They moved instantly at Snoe’s direction.

“Did you have any ideas?” Snoe asked Ezyrah.

“I am just here to watch,” he said.

Snoe nodded and took his seat once more. They pushed everything out of the way, and Hilde sat in the chair. She tried to look defiant, but Snoe could see the fear flickering in her eyes. “Someone grab a lighter,” Snoe said.

Blade appeared next to him lighter in hand and a smile on his bloody face.

“Wait, this will make it a proper celebration,” Snoe said, getting up and grabbing a bottle of alcohol. He poured it on Hilde’s gown until it was soaked. “There you go.”

“Master, come sit so you don’t miss anything,” Smooth said.

Snoe took a step.

“You made a deal with a demon, so you’re going to die. He will trick you like so many others, and you will be the fool. Blakes are all pathetic,” Hilde spat.

Snoe turned to Hilde. “I made a deal with him just for this day. This is all I wanted. I’m willing to give up everything just for this.” Snoe leaned close. “And it’s Snoe Whyte. Some may even call me Mr. Whyte.”

She looked horrified at Snoe’s words, and he got a sense of happiness. Snoe leisurely walked back to the platform. Dox pulled him into his chest and turned Snoe around to face Hilde.

“Light her up,” Snoe said.

Hilde opened her mouth to say something, and Blade shoved something in her mouth to keep her from talking. He lit a piece of paper and tossed it onto Hilde. She tried wiggling around, and her muffled screams echoed in the room as her dress caught on fire. Flames engulfed her within seconds.

Nyght placed a kiss on Snoe’s cheek. He turned and pulled the man back in to kiss him on the lips. Snoe didn’t know what he was doing, but there was a rush of endorphins coursing through Snoe. His hands needed something to hold on to, and his mind needed to be blank. He’d succeeded, and there was this overwhelming feeling that threatened to consume him and shatter him to a million fucking pieces.

His men must have sensed the same thing. Lips pressed against the back of Snoe’s neck. Yes, more. He wanted his men. No, scratch that. He needed them like his next breath. He pulled back from the kiss with Nyght and was instantly kissing Dox. They were the glue to his mind when Snoe felt like he would shatter. After everything, they alone held him together. Snoe gave himself over to his men, knowing he could trust them with his very life. Fuck his heart.

Hands pulled at his suit, stripping Snoe of his clothes. Snoe’s lungs burned for the need of air, but he clung to Dox, not wanting to be let go. He only did when he felt light-headed. Snoe sucked in a breath as Smooth pulled Snoe from Dox’s lap and kissed him. There was no need for words. Smooth threaded his fingers through Snoe’s hair and moved his head how he wanted, deepening the kiss.

A hand wrapped around Snoe’s cock, and rough fingers played with his nipples. It was perfect. They were making Snoe’s mind go blank. Smooth released his mouth and passed him over to Joker, who grinned at him, the same grin he always sent Snoe’s way. Even with blood splattered on his face, Joker was handsome.

All of his men were covered in blood; Snoe couldn’t find it in him to be grossed out. He just wanted them to take him. Joker brought their lips together as lubed fingers circled Snoe’s hole. Fuck yes. He pushed back as the thick fingers entered him. Snoe moaned into Joker’s mouth, loving every second of it.

“We are here for you, Master,” Dox said against Snoe’s ear.

Even the smell of burning flesh couldn’t destroy the moment Snoe was having with his men.

The tip of Dox’s cock pushed past the first ring of muscle. The stretch was good, the burn making Snoe gasp, but he didn’t want Dox to stop—he didn’t want any of them to stop. Wolly wiggled under him, stealing Snoe’s mouth in a short but hot kiss.

“You don’t have to do anything. We will take care of everything,” Wolly said.

When did he start sounding so reasonable and mature? Blade tilted Snoe’s head up. “Just feel,” he said.
