Carrying Blaze's Mark(13)
Author: E.C. Land

“She won’t want to leave the boys. Not after everything we’ve been through,” I mutter.

“Blaze’s right. She won’t leave them but doesn’t mean Raven won’t be demanding to take out at least one of the people involved with bringing harm upon her family,” Pitch Black states. “My sister is fuckin’ vicious when she wants to be.”

“Let’s get this over with, I want my ol’ lady back in here with me and my kids,” Stoney snarls. I don’t blame Prez one bit for not wanting to deal with this let alone being away from Rachel and their kids.

Fuckin’ hell.

We’ve all been through a shit ton of bullshit lately, it keeps wanting to pile up on top of us. Swear anymore comes our way soon and we’ll be trying to swim our way out of the piles of it caking up.

Following Stoney and Tracker out the front, my anger comes to the forefront when I spot Dixie standing there with a gloating look on her face as she stands with several men and two older women.

“You have got some balls for coming to my clubhouse after the shit you’ve pulled,” Stoney sneers.

“Ahh, it seems my sons decided to come here as well,” one of the older gentlemen snickers.

“Your sons? They’re mongrels who took my figure from me,” one of the women snarks.

“Good to see you too, bitch,” Brake growls from next to me.

“What the fuck do you want?” I demand.

“We don’t want anything,” Louis shrugs.

“Then what was all this shit about?” Tracker seethes.

“Oh, that was done at the command of Arlene. I’m going to put it to you this way, I’m not interested in a war with the Devil’s Riot MC, and so we’re here to take what belongs to Dixie here and will be on our way.”

“No, we won’t, not without that bitch niece of ours,” the other older woman says.

“Over my dead body,” Tracker says, taking a step forward.

“That can be arrange,” the woman cackles.

“Enough, you two,” the man standing next to Louis snaps at the women.

“I simply want my son back,” Dixie says, running her glazed eyes over me.

“You don’t have a son,” I snarl.

“I do, you and that freakshow took him from me,” she screeches.

“You’re delusional. You don’t have a child never did.” She might have carried Matthew, but he’s always been ours.

“I am not. Give me my son. I want to hold him in my arms. You and that freakshow refused to allow me to hold him when he was born,” Dixie screams.

“How many times do we have to say it woman, you never had a child. Now shut the fuck up.”

“Dixie, quiet,” Louis snaps in her direction and turns to us. “Just give us the child and we’ll be on our way. If not, I’ll wipe you all out and still take the child.”

“What do you want with my son?” I demand.

“We own him and I have a buyer ready for him.” Louis shrugs.

“Hold the hell up, you sold my son?” I roar, taking a step forward.

“He’s not your child though, he’s Dixie’s,” Arlene sneers.

“According to birth records he’s mine,” I confirmed, crossing my arms over my chest.

“Well, it seems we have a predicament here, I was promised a child and the one earlier was near death and not wanted by the buyer I have for this one. So, someone had best give me a child.” My anger grows at this. Yeah, my son could have died thanks to these motherfuckers.

“You’ll just have to give the buyer back his or her money then ‘cause you sure as fuck aren’t getting any kids today,” I snarl.

Louis sneers becoming frustrated with the stalemate he’s come across.

No one moves for a good amount of time. Then Dixie steps forward pulling a gun out from behind her back. “Give me my son. I want my son. You don’t have the right to keep him. He’s mine to do with what I want. You wouldn’t give me what I wanted and took everything away from me. Now give him to me or I swear to fuck I’ll shoot you dead here,” she screams.

“Go ahead and try, bitch. You won’t be getting your hands on my kid,” I say, curling my lip at the corner.

All of a sudden, a gun goes off. “Enough.” My body stiffens at my ol’ lady’s voice.

I don’t turn to look at her; however, I feel her approach.

“Good, the freakshow has shown herself. Give me my kid,” Dixie snaps.

“Who the fuck do any of you think you are coming here?” Raven says calmly.

“Little Bird,” I say warningly as she steps up to stand directly in front of me with her back pressed to my front. “You shouldn’t be out here.”

Raven ignores this as she glances in front of her. “Irene and Arlene, I hope you’ve enjoyed you’re time out, since I can assure you, you’ll wish Ryder killed you rather than what’s coming,” she states, tilting her head from them to Louis and the man with him. “You two I can’t wait to watch them take you out. Where’s your marksmen? Or will one of you be taking the glory in that killshot today? This ends now,” she screeches.

“I don’t think so freak,” Dixie says, aiming her gun at my woman.

“Put the gun down,” I snarl.

“No, she took what was mine. You should have been mine to,” Dixie whines.

“Boo hoo hoo are you going to cry over not getting the toy you wanted like some spoiled bitch,” Raven snarks.

“Fuck you, freakshow,” Dixie says, waving the gun in front of her.

Before I or anyone can react, Raven moves doing a roundhouse to knock the gun out of her hand and send her backwards. This starts the chaos to ensue as my brothers move taking the Pelletiers and the women down.

They might have the parts of the women but for what they’ve done none of us will see them as anything but the monsters they truly are.

And I for one will take great pride in ending each and every one of them.

Chapter Fifteen

Raven

Okay, so I didn’t plan on it and I sure as hell didn’t want to because let’s face it you have a kid the last thing you want to do is use your muscles for anything more than to walk around the house.

I couldn’t help myself when it came down to it and honestly, I’m glad I did because I was able to hear the truth of why she wanted Matthew.

I hold no mercy in my heart for her as my brother subdues her while the rest of the club members work to do the same with the others.

“Let go of me you mongrel,” Arlene snaps at one of her boys.

“Shut the hell up, monster,” Tyres sneers.

“Little Bird, get your ass back to the room and stay there until I come get you,” Blaze growls in my direction.

“Okay, Liam. Just know I don’t regret coming out here and I’m leaving the rest to you to deal with. Just make sure it hurts. I now get what the winds were telling me and though I’m upset and hurt about Momma B, I get it. And I know none of you will let her die in vain,” I say, tears shimmering in my eyes.

“Love you, baby,” he says his eyes softening the slightest bit.
