Beautiful Deceit (Watch Me Burn #3)(35)
Author: R.E. Bond

“No, but your crews can,” she pointed out, people zoning in on our conversation from the sidelines to get ready for the drama train.

Oh boy, not good.

I gave her a bored expression, hoping people just thought she was fucking crazy.

“First off, I’m with the Psychos only. Secondly, they don’t take orders from me.”

She scrunched her face up with glee, suddenly looking like she’d thought of something good.

Bitch had nothing.

“No? What about the shit with Tristan Holloway and your dad?”

I hated admitting it out loud, but I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity of embarrassing her.

“You mean our dad, right sissy?”

“He’s nothing to me!” She shouted angrily, but my taunting laughter boomed through the hall, drawing more attention to us.

“You just can’t stand the fact that your ass is from the other side of town, can you? You fell into money, I guess. Kind of funny how you…”

Claire swung a fist at me, but I caught it with ease and twisted it behind her back, slamming her chest into the lockers and pushed up behind her.

She actually thought she could fucking put one over me?

“Let me go!” She wailed like a baby, but I tightened my hold, just to remind her that I was in fact winning.

I’d always win.

“I’ll let you go when you calm down and pay close attention to me. I didn’t do shit to that fucking whore. I had no contact with anyone while I was in the clink, so if she got herself killed, that’s not on me. You’re lucky it wasn’t you for fucking telling her those lies, because trust me when I say your name is of concern, and you’re untouched because of me. If anything happens to you, know that it was with my fucking permission. Luckily for you, you’re family, so I’m the only thing standing between you and your fate. Next time you wanna start shit with me, don’t take a knife to a fucking gun fight,” then I moved back, elbowing her in the cheek hard before snatching up my bag and stalking towards the bathroom.

I muttered under my breath as I stripped out of my soda-soaked clothes and climbed into the shower, rinsing my hair and body off from the sticky mess.

I wasn’t surprised to find Jensen waiting with a towel in his hand when I opened the stall door either.

He always just seemed to know.

“How’d you find out so quick?” I muttered, causing him to cringe.

“It’s online. Holloway and Ty have gotten most videos removed from Facebook, but it’s been sent to people outside of school who have put it up. We run the school, not the neighbourhood.”

It was just a fucking video.

“I’m sensing a but.”

He ran a hand through his messy chocolate brown hair before answering.

“But, Skeet and his guys run the neighbourhood, so they’re tracking people down.”

Oh, for fuck’s sake.

“Jense, it’s just a fucking video. Who gives a shit?”

“We do. You’re too big of a player in the game at the moment for something like that to get around,” he explained, making me roll my eyes.

“It’s just soda. She didn’t burn me in acid or anything and send the video to you guys requesting a fucking ransom.”

He was getting wound up as he crossed his arms and glared at me.

“It’s made to degrade you and make you look stupid.”

“I hardly look stupid. I had the last word.”

As always.

I could handle my own bitch fights, for fuck’s sake, especially with my surprise sister.

He kept going though, as if it was the start of a goddamn gang war.

“Yeah, but you’re a Bloody Psycho now, so it’s what you get these days. Are you okay?” He asked gently, running his eyes up and down my body.

He really shouldn’t be in the girl’s bathroom with me, rich boy or not.

I glanced at the door, but he gave me a reassuring smile.

“It’s fine, no one’s coming in. I put Luke at the door.”

I relaxed, drying myself with a sigh.

“I’m fine. I’m just pissed off that she’s stepping out of line again,” I explained, ignoring the fact that his eyes kept wandering to my pussy every time the towel stopped covering it.

I wasn’t going to fuck in the school bathroom and risk getting caught.

“Want us to handle her?” He offered casually, and I gave him a small smile.

He was cute for wanting to save me, but a queen always knows how to save herself.

“I love that you want to, but she’s my problem to handle, and I can do it. I can deal with girl drama,” I assured him.

“What are you going to do then?” He asked, cocking his head at me as if trying to figure me out.

They knew by now that I was unpredictable, and they’d never figure me out.

Good luck, Gilbert.

I shrugged. “Me? Nothing.”

He stared at me with confusion before slowly repeating what I’d said as if he’d heard me wrong.

“Nothing?”

Absolutely fucking nothing.

“Yeah. She’ll sink herself,” I shrugged, towel drying my hair roughly.

I took the clean clothes that he’d pulled from my locker, and I yanked them on before finally meeting his gaze again to find him staring at me.

“What is it?”

He frowned. “You’re really going to do nothing about her?”

“Yep. Neither are you. It’s just petty crap. It’s not like she threatened me at knife point, and I honestly have bigger shit to worry about at the moment than high school girls. Skeet’s trying to teach me not to let the little things get to me, so this is me letting it go,” I replied as a look of frustration crossed his face, making me scowl. “I said no, Jense. So fucking drop it.”

A wall slammed down in his eyes that I hadn’t seen since we first met, and he growled, his fist smashing into the wall before he ripped open the door and left, slamming it behind him.

I blinked in confusion, stuffing my soda-soaked clothes into my bag before running my fingers through my wet hair and leaving the room.

It took a lot for Jensen to chuck a tantrum, but that was ridiculous.

I wasn’t surprised that Lukas had chased after Jensen, instead of sticking around to see if I was okay.

I was fine, but he didn’t fucking know that.

I ignored the expressions on people’s faces as I wandered through the hallways, a determined expression on my face the whole way until I found Jensen and Lukas.

Jensen was all up in Claire’s face outside the cafeteria, doing exactly what I’d told him not to do.

I didn’t speak as I marched up to them, watching as a panicked look crossed Claire’s face at whatever Jensen was saying to her.

I shoved Jensen’s shoulder hard, not hesitating to knee him hard in the balls and causing him to drop to his knees as a pained noise left him.

“What the fuck, Rory?” He wheezed out, anger radiating out of him as he cupped his junk.

He was lucky I didn’t do it again, because he knew I hated it when people ignored me.

“I told you to drop it. Stay out of my fucking business about this shit!” I hissed at him, making him scowl up at me from the ground.

“You are my fucking business!” He snapped, but his voice projected the pain he was still feeling.
