California Love(21)
Author: TK Cherry

And there ends our smokin’ makeout session.

Dammit.

Thanks for nothing, Papa Roach—the insect, not the band. Last Resort is still my jam.

“Sure, I’ll go after you.” I sigh. From afar, I hear a horn playing the loser song from The Price Is Right.

A grin returns to his mouth. “I was thinking you could join me.”

My jaw nearly hits the floor as the theme from Rocky now rings in my brain. Then, reality hits me square in the head.

Jesus—I’ve never showered with anyone before.

Ever.

As my body tenses up, Drew steps to me and caresses my cheek.

“Baby, don’t go acting all shy now. We’ve already seen each other naked,” he murmurs before quickly pecking my lips. My cheeks start to heat up. “Are you coming with me?” he croons before swiftly kissing me again.

Oh boy—I certainly hope so.

I nod like a mindless freak, and he smiles even wider before kissing my mouth a little longer. He abruptly turns and opens his leather bag in the chair to retrieve a toiletry bag, which he digs into. I watch as he presents a condom to me, and I playfully narrow my eyes at him in response.

“My lottery ticket,” he touts, proudly waving the square foil in the air.

In the shower, things quickly get hot and heavy as Drew washes my entire body with his bare hands using his own masculine scented body wash. The move is hot as hell. Not only are his hands touching every inch of my body, but I’m coming out of this smelling just like the person who turns me on the most.

Drew stands behind me and I look down. He caresses the suds all over my breasts. I gasp while reminiscing about our first night at the Hampton Inn in Red Bluff. There, I showered alone while imagining him doing exactly this to me. I press my head back into his chest in sheer ecstasy while he teases my nipples.

I soon drop to my knees and please his willing erection with my mouth. But before he loses control, he pulls away from me and makes quick work of the condom.

He stands me up, turns me around, and bends me forward so that my forehead and hands are pressed flat against the plexiglass door.

We fuck hard in the shower.

We fuck hard in bed.

We fuck until I fall sound asleep.

After three long days on the road, we finally make it to Carmel-by-the-Sea and Blair’s dad’s beach house. As soon as we enter, I let out a deep sigh of relief.

“Impressive.” He nods with pursed lips assessing our new surroundings.

“Definitely better than where we were last night,” I quip.

When I gaze at him, he’s not smiling. In fact, there’s a trace of melancholy in his expression. It’s the first time I’ve seen him look like this. Then, it hits me and my heart sinks. He has to leave. The thought puts me in a panic.

Ask him to stay, I reason with myself.

“Blair won’t be here for another two days. I know you have business to tend to, but I was hoping you could stay until she arrives,” I plead softly.

He takes my face gently in his hands. “Sure—I’d love to,” he murmurs.

Wearing a smile on his lips, he presses them to mine and kisses me soundly.

Two hours after our arrival, I am lying out in the sand in a bikini and soaking up the sun near the shoreline. Meanwhile, Drew is inside handling a few business calls. I wish he was out here.

I take in the sight and sounds of the crashing waves and wonder how it would be to surf them. When we parked in the garage earlier, we saw a shelf of surfboards. I’ve never surfed before. In fact, Blair planned on teaching me. When I told Drew about it, he proceeded to rant about how unsafe surfing can be. Immediately, I thought he is not my father, but perhaps he got his wires crossed when I called him Daddy last night in bed.

Last night—oh my God.

I get chills up and down my spine just thinking about it.

As I relax on my big blue beach towel with book in hand, I’m taken aback when I see Drew surface, carrying a surfboard over his shoulder. He’s shirtless and in blue knee-length shorts looking oh so delectable.

Then, it dawns on me.

He’s going to surf? Really?

He is actually doing this after his rant about the dangers of surfing. Here’s Mr. Contradiction in full swing. Gotta fucking love it.

I close my book and focus completely on him as he walks into the ocean and positions the board before mounting it. I laugh trying to fathom how this seemingly stuffy tech prodigy can go out there and hang ten. It’s so uncharacteristic of him.

I spot a wave coming ahead, but he’s already prepared. I gawk as his taut muscles flex, and I admire how his hair and body are now slick. I lick my lips in pure lust. He catches the wave, springs up steady, and he’s riding it like a pro. I’m awestruck.

Shit, I wish I had a camera.

He looks amazing out there.

Drew

In the kitchen, I’m sitting on a stool at the granite-top island. Quen, who’s wearing an apron over her teeny weeny pink bikini, leans over my shoulder to add more pasta onto my plate.

“I can’t believe how delicious that was,” I groan in total satisfaction.

“You didn’t think I could cook, huh?” she teases as she places the glass serving bowl aside.

“I didn’t say that.”

“But you did assume that I couldn’t.”

“I never said that. But you haven’t ceased to amaze me, Miss Waverly.”

After dinner and a shower, Quen and I snuggled up on the living room sofa to watch Singin’ in the Rain. Or more aptly, Singin’ in the Rain watched us. Once we started making out, it quickly turned into heavy petting, and heavy petting turned into hot sex.

Damn, I don’t know what I’m going to do when I eventually have to leave this girl behind.

Quen

The sun has disappeared below the horizon. It serves as a cruel reminder that things are going to be drastically different after tonight and the past few glorious nights. A pang resonates in my stomach as I’m made acutely aware that this is our final night together before Drew sets off for Salinas.

I could wallow in the bittersweetness of it all, but right now, I choose to only bask in the sweet.

We kiss madly on top of a plaid fleece blanket as the waves ebb and flow nearby. Behind us, the moon and the glass encased beach house provides the only illumination.

Drew lowers me on my back then lies on top of me. My hands proceed to trace the outline of muscles on his bare back. I arch my body towards him as he loosens the tie of my bikini top.

It takes no time for both of us to get totally naked. I pant wantonly as I watch him put on a condom in the moonlight. I’m desperately anticipating the moment when he enters me, and I feel full. It’s a feeling that’s so indescribable and one that I always want to experience. As if he picked up on my thoughts, he promptly slides into me and I moan on impact.

The wonderful thing about being on a private beach is that no one can hear my cries, nor can they hear me scream as I come for Drew so fucking hard.

For as long as I live, I will never forget this night.

Blair shows up at the beach house just after two in the afternoon. She is full of life, as usual. She finds me sulking in a rocking chair on the deck. She freezes and, like the mother hen she is, rushes to my side and wraps me in her arms.
