Drew (Cerberus MC #15)(26)
Author: Marie James

“And? We don’t have to go to your house. There are plenty of rooms here at the clubhouse.”

“There isn’t a single empty room here.”

He’s right. Apollo, Thumper, and Legend took the remaining rooms several months ago, but I heard discussions about Rivet and Cannon building across the street to clear up another. Cerberus MC is continually growing, and there are plans in place to expand the clubhouse to accommodate more people. We’re starting to look like our own little village out here.

“Jinx is hardly ever home these days. He’s a mostly clean guy.”

“I’m not fucking you on another man’s bed, especially one that used his own free time to teach me how to weld last week.”

“You could—” I drag my finger down his chest. “Just bend me over it.”

He huffs, his head falling back on the sofa as his eyes close. “You’re going to kill me by saying stuff like that.”

“I’m—”

“Horny,” he interrupts. “I know you are. I am, too. If my balls got any bluer, I’d need a trip to the emergency room, but I’m not going to disrespect the men here. They’ve all been very helpful.”

“At cockblocking.”

He laughs again.

“What about Apollo’s room? You don’t even like him.” I bite my lip and wait for his reply.

His head rolls forward, a serious look in his eyes. “I don’t dislike Apollo. He’s a good man. We’re not hooking up in his room either.”

Guilt swarms my gut because I know if Drew agreed, I would’ve disrespected my friend that way. It’s shameful even suggesting it, but a complete disgrace knowing I would’ve followed through with it.

“You’re right. Bad idea. What about a hotel room?”

“Can’t leave the property.”

“Maybe you can have Lawson get a connecting room. It would be like at home. He’d even be closer.”

“You want my brother and his wife hearing me make you come.”

I just want to come, honestly. I scrunch my nose.

“Exactly. Just sit here with me.”

“Last time I did that, you fell asleep.”

“I’m exhausted,” he repeats.

I lean back against the sofa as Drew closes his eyes. I smile when he lifts his hand to my belly.

“How’s my boy doing?”

“Moving like crazy all day.”

I cover his hand with my own. It’s the only touching we do, his hand on my stomach, and I can’t help but want more. I want kisses and light brushes. I want whispered promises and intimacy.

It seems Drew is sticking to the promise of just sex, and that may be easier to handle if we were actually getting to have sex. I had more opportunities in high school while living with my mother than I have now as a grown woman. It’s left me very frustrated, both mentally and sexually, but moments like this where his fingers are flexing against me are amazing too.

“Everyone is gone,” I remind him.

There is literally no one left in the clubhouse, and everyone on the property has already gone back to their own houses.

“There’s very little chance of anyone showing up.” It takes effort, but I’m able to shift my weight up until I’m straddling his lap. Just the new position has my heart racing and my breaths coming out in a rush. His hands go to my hips, the roundness of my belly an awkward bulge between us.

“Izzy,” Drew warns, but he doesn’t push me away. His eyes are focused on the front of my sweater. My breasts, even in clothes, have the ability to make him lose his train of thought. I’m not above using them to my advantage right now.

“Shh,” I hush him as I lower my mouth to his.

Expecting him to pull away, I gasp in surprise when he grips the back of my neck and crashes his mouth to mine. I don’t know if it’s the build up to this moment, something that’s been weeks in the making, or if it’s because we already know this time around what it’s like between the two of us when we come together this way.

“Fuck, I want inside of you,” he grumbles against my mouth before rolling his tongue against mine.

The kiss is sloppy, heated with passion and missed opportunities, and the echo of his mouth on mine makes me throb.

“I want that. I’ve wanted that for so long.”

I cup his face with both hands, living in this moment, loving the feel of him, the taste of him, the warmth of his body against mine.

“Jinx’s room isn’t sounding like such an awful idea,” he says as he rolls his hips.

I moan in agreement. “Or here. We can just do it here. I won’t last long.”

“Me either. Fuck, Izzy, move like that again and I won’t last long enough to unzip my jeans.”

His hands go back to my hips, stilling them when I didn’t even realize I was grinding against him.

“So here?” I ask again, desperate for an answer or another solution.

“No. Fuck, no.”

“Really?” I whimper. “There’s no way I can—”

“The conference room,” he suggests. “Get up. We’ll go in there.”

He helps me with a laugh when I try to scramble off his lap.

“Slow down, baby. We’ll get there. Fuck, I didn’t want to bend you over a table, but it’s looking like that’s what’s going to happen.”

“Okay,” I readily agree. I’ve never been the type to need romance and a soft bed. I was completely okay with how the one and only time I’ve had sex went down.

I’m light on my feet as he holds my hand across the living room. I’m practically prancing with excitement.

“Shit,” he hisses when he opens the door to the conference room.

I haven’t been in here many times—the place is practically sacred—but at least it’s not one of the guy’s bedroom.

“The lights are automatic?”

I shove him further into the room so I can close the doors behind us.

“I don’t mind you seeing me naked. I’d never dream of denying you the sight of my boobs. You can’t seem to take your eyes off of them in clothes,” I tease.

When I rise up on my toes to wrap my arms around his neck, he turns me away from him. I wanted more kissing but if he wants to just bend me over now, I’m okay with that too. I wiggle my ass against the erection straining in his jeans, hissing with need when he grips my chin and angles my head to the side.

“Are you okay with that?”

“Yes,” I practically purr, my butt still enticing his hardness. “Anything.”

“Fuck, Izzy, not that… that.”

He turns my head slightly, and there in the damn corner is a camera, the red light blinking to indicate that it’s recording.

“Umm.” I glare at the offending thing.

“That night we talked near the pool, you told me that Max knows anytime something goes down around here.”

“He does.” I’m on the verge of tears.

“If the lights are activated by motion sensors, then I’m guessing the camera probably is as well.”

“Yeah.”

“So we triggered two things when we stepped inside here.”

“Probably.”
