No because we both dealt our hands through the years. Luna threw a cloak over herself in order to shield the true beauty that is her. Me, being blind didn’t see through the layers to the woman she really is.
Sighing, I maneuver the covers back over us. With Luna still filled with my cock I’m not about to move her off of me. I close my eyes and drift back to sleep myself.
Pounding on the front door stirs me from a sleep.
“What’s going on?” Luna asks, sleepily as she looks up at me. Somehow in our sleep, we’d moved until we were both on our sides. Her leg cocked over mine. My arms surrounding her.
“I don’t know, Kitten, but I’m gonna go find out,” I murmur pressing a kiss to her forehead, as I slide her leg from my body and climb out of the bed. Slipping my jeans on, I don’t bother with the button. “Stay here.”
“Okay.” At her response I leave the bedroom and make my way to the front door as the pounding on the door persists.
“What?” I demand upon opening the door only to groan at the sight of not just one of the ol’ ladies but all of them.
“Don’t what me, mister? You don’t get to keep us away from Luna, after all of us being upset about her going missing last night,” Victoria declares, hands on her hips.
“Exactly. We want to know exactly what happened last night and why Nerd refused to let us know what he saw on the surveillance feed. I might not have been there last night, but I was there listening to them all last night when they got back to the clubhouse. I know whatever he saw was bad. Now let us see our girl,” Momma B huffs.
I thought Raven would be putting her input in. She normally does, but right now she’s merely staring at me as if she were seeing all my demons. Rachel on the other hand was biting her lip and blushing as she takes in the state of my clothing.
“Umm, I think maybe we should give them a bit,” Rachel suggests, quietly. Over the last while she hadn’t been acting herself. Not like the woman who first came here. We all know she loves our Prez, but I’ve seen the insecurities shining in her eyes as she’s fought her own demons. Ones that have been hurting her from the moment she found out about Boss having a child by her ol’ man. She’d been battling those feelings for a while and I think after a conversation with Tinsley, we’d overheard her having, Stoney realized just how much it was fuckin’ with her. I’m guessing this because over the last few weeks they’ve seemed to be doing a hell of a lot better.
“What? No, I’m not leaving. This jerk has ignored our phone calls all blessed day and I want to see Luna,” Victoria yells.
“Vi,” Rachel murmurs, moving her gaze between the two of us, narrowing her eyes.
“Women, respect y’all, you know this. However, you all will need to wait. Reason I didn’t answer your calls PIMA is because I was asleep up until you started pounding on the door. Now if you want to see Luna go grab some Mexican or something and I’ll bring her to the clubhouse for you all to talk with her while I deal with some shit. That work for you,” I state, firmly holding the woman who’s been a pain in my ass for years.
“Fine, but if you two aren’t at the clubhouse in an hour I’m coming after you,” she snaps.
“We’ll be there,” I mutter and close the door making sure to lock it.
Shaking my head, I make my way to my woman and find she’s not in the bed like I told her to be. Instead, I hear the water running from the en suite bathroom.
Grinning, I shuck my jeans back off and make my way to her. She’s going to learn when I tell her to do something, I mean it.
Chapter Seven
Luna
How in the world did I let my world get twisted upside down?

Shadow.
The man has a way of making me feel so light yet grounded at the same time. For the first time in two years I feel like myself again.
After the ol’ ladies from the club decided to interrupt the best sleep I’ve had, in the same amount of time as feeling like myself, Shadow joined me in the shower where he showed me the error of my ways for not waiting on him.
It was well worth it.
We ended up at the clubhouse, me with the girls while he handled some shit he needed to do. I was in the middle of enjoying my three amigos, something I hadn’t had before but oh my God it’s the best. Rachel showed me if you dip a tortilla chip in salsa then scoop some rice with the veggies and one of the meats it’s even better. She wasn’t lying either. Anyway, I’d all but been in the midst of a food-gasm when Shadow stepped up behind me, curled a hand in my hair, and tilted my head back. His eyes sparked with a humor but there was a hint of lust in them.
“Be back, Kitten. Don’t leave,” he’d muttered, kissing me. Shadow then whispered in my ear, “You don’t make noises like that unless my cock is filling you. Got me?” Unable to answer, I nodded my head.
Little did I know that when he left it was to track down the three women from last night. Him, and three of his other brothers brought them to the clubhouse under false pretenses. Then he proceeded to inform them of their wrongdoings and demanded they apologize not only to me for what they’d said but to the other ol’ ladies as well.
What happened after that I thought would have come from Victoria or Raven even. I didn’t expect Rachel to step up to them and bitch slap the first one, punch the second one in the eye, and send the third one to the floor by a fist to the gut. “Don’t think you can talk about any of my family without the repercussions. My ol’ man may be the Prez of this club, but I’m the queen and I’ll be fuckin’ damned if some bitches like you will attack one of mine. Now get the hell out of here and I suggest you never go to that club or any other we’re known to go to.”
I’d been speechless with what Rachel said. She then turned, faced me, and pointed. “Don’t ever let women like these skanks ever subject you to feeling as if you can’t hold your head up. We all have our own insecurities but you and I, sweetheart, we’re better than skanky whores like them that have to tear other women up in order to make themselves feel better.”
From that night, Rachel became one of my best friends and not just one of the women I knew from the MC.
Since then Shadow and I have gotten closer to each other. In more ways than one. He’s shown me in more ways than one how he can command my body to his will, and I’ve loved every minute of it. We’d talked about birth control when I found out he had no intention of wearing a condom with me. Said if I wanted to get on the pill then I needed to do it. Otherwise he didn’t care.
Evidently, he’d made his mind up and was making me his. I didn’t know what to think about this at first then he’d laid it out for me. “Do you want anyone else? Do you think someone else would be able to give you what I do? Make you feel the way you do? Care for you as much as I do? Love you in the way I do?” My answer to each of these questions was a ‘no’.
I did ask him about that last question he’d thrown in there.
His words were simple as he smirked. “I know what I want when I want it. I’m not about to let it slip through my fingers and get away from me. Not happenin’.
