Pretty Wild (Boys in Makeup #3)(37)
Author: Christina Lee

I chuckled. He was so silly and funny in the best, most nerdy way ever. “Dear Mattress Company, I really like sleeping with this really hot guy on your beds. He’s warm and snuggly, and the bed is the perfect firmness and softness to suck each other off. Five stars!”

He gave me another laugh, followed by a hiccup. His hand shot up to cover his mouth. “Oh God. I am such a dork.” He groaned and tried to roll over, but I didn’t let him. I climbed on top of him, straddled him, held his wrists against the bed. We were both still naked, my cock hard and aching.

“Yes you are.” Clark was just being himself, and I adored him for it.

“Gee, thanks!” he replied.

“But it’s kind of awesome. It’s my favorite thing about you,” I told him, and I could swear he whimpered. I could feel his erection against me, but I forced myself to ignore how it might feel inside me. Who knew if that would ever happen? I let go of his wrists, grabbed his glasses off the nightstand, and put them on him. “There’s my Clark Kent.” I leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to his lips, then got off him and went to the bathroom. I could feel his eyes on me as I left.

I took a quick leak and washed my hands, and by the time I made it back into the room, he was up and grabbing underwear out of the drawer. “Do you have a long day?” I asked. Ugh. I sounded needy. Why did I sound so needy?

“Kinda, yeah. And you work tonight, right?”

“Yeah.” I plopped back down onto the bed and started to slowly stroke my shaft.

“We’ll have time for dinner, though. I can bring something home if you want.” He turned around and saw me playing with my cock. “Jesus, Sky. You’re gonna kill me.”

“I’m sorry! You’re sexy.”

“I’m not.”

What? How could he not know how fucking gorgeous he was?

“Yes, you are. You always have been. And now you’re gonna go in the shower, and I’m gonna lie in your bed and jack off while thinking about how hot you are. Then I’m gonna come all over your sheets, maybe say your name, but I’ll definitely be thinking of you. I can’t lie, I’ll probably pass the fuck out afterward. You’ll come back, admire me naked and sleeping in your bed, and then you’ll go to work. I’ll wash the bedding later. Promise.” I winked, still stroking, still teasing.

What I didn’t expect was for Clark to drop the underwear, jump back onto the bed, and suck my dick until I came down his throat. Afterward, his head still in my groin as he played with my flaccid cock, he whispered, “I feel like someone different when I’m with you.”

My heart throbbed in this weird way I hadn’t known was possible for hearts to throb. They did that shit? Why did it feel both incredible and horrible at the same time? Amazing and scary? How did I even respond to that? What I chose was, “You’re gonna be late for work.”

“Oh shit!” He jumped out of bed, grabbed his underwear, and ran for the bathroom. I pretended to be asleep when he came back out. Clark did watch me for a moment, then came over, kissed the top of my head, and left. My eyes immediately fluttered open.

I wasn’t sure I’d ever been so fucked in my life.

Still, I wasn’t going to stop. I heard the front door, and he was definitely going to be late for work. I nuzzled back into his sheets and blanket, inhaled the scent of him, of us, and went back to sleep.

When I got up, I did as I said I would and put his sheets in the washer. I tugged on a pair of underwear, turned on some music, and sang and danced while I cleaned up. First the dishes and the counters, and then I pulled the broom out because how could one clean without a microphone?

Sheets in the dryer, and God, I still loved Britney Spears. I held the mop mic tight in my hand, twisted around, and— “Oh. Hey,” I said, actually a little embarrassed. Clark stood in the doorway, watching me. “I know I haven’t been cleaning that long.” I grabbed my phone off the counter and turned off the music.

“No.” He shook his head, a smile making his lips curl up. “I texted but you didn’t reply. I see why now. I rushed out so fast this morning, I forgot some paperwork I needed. I didn’t expect to come home to a concert.”

“Well, now you know what I do while you’re gone,” I teased.

“You didn’t have to clean up.”

“I wanted to.”

Why were we being all weird, standing ten feet away and talking awkwardly?

“It’s…cute, the singing and dancing in your underwear.”

“It’s me, so of course it is.”

Clark laughed.

“Were you late this morning?”

“Yeah.” He took a step closer. I did too. “My mom was annoyed.”

Shit. I definitely wasn’t scoring any points with her. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s not your fault. I’m a big boy. I could have left earlier. Plus, what’s the big deal? I’m never late. I didn’t miss an appointment or anything. She’s just so used to me falling in line and doing everything exactly right.”

A hint of sadness permeated his voice, and I wanted to make it better, but I didn’t know how. I walked over to him, licked at his lips. Clark opened for me, and I kissed him, our tongues dancing the way I’d just been doing with the mop. He tasted like he’d eaten something sweet recently.

“You’re a good son,” I said when we pulled away. “No one is perfect, but if anyone is close, it’s you.” He grinned again, and I swatted his ass. “Now go get your paperwork before you’re late again. Plus, I have an encore I need to do here. My adoring fans are waiting.”

Clark rolled his eyes playfully. “You’re a dork.”

“I’m a rock star.”

He got his paperwork, and we said goodbye. I finished my cleaning concert, worked on sewing a bit, made Clark’s bed, and generally kept myself busy until he got home from work. We had dinner together, and he told me about his day in this way I used to see on TV when I was a kid—only it was always a man and a woman and they were in love. We weren’t. When I was young, there had been a time when I’d wondered why my mom didn’t have that. Why I didn’t have a dad who ate dinner with us as my parents talked about their day.

“What?” Clark asked. “You’re frowning.”

“Nothing. Just don’t feel like going to work tonight,” I hedged. I wasn’t sure he believed me, but he didn’t call me on it. The thing was, it wasn’t totally a lie. I wasn’t in the mood to go dance all night for men to stuff money in my underwear.

We hung out until I had to get ready for work. I put on light makeup for tonight, and when I came out, Clark was at the kitchen table, working on his laptop.

“Have a good night,” he told me.

I hesitated, thought about kissing him, but that was too domestic. Today had already been unsettling enough. “I will,” I replied. “And maybe I’ll find a naked man in bed when I get home.”

Clark blushed.

God, he was fun. I winked and left.

When I got to the Playground, Jesse was in the back room, getting something out of his bag. I didn’t plan it, just opened my mouth and said, “I’m messing around with Clark.” Fuck. Why in the hell had I said that?
