He ran his hands through his hair. “Would you like a drink or something?”

“No, thank you. I want to finish some of what we started.” I seductively bit my lip which was all I needed to do for him to begin the descent into my trap of seduction. I grabbed his hand pulling him towards the bedroom I remembered so well, pushing him onto the bed.

“Fuck yeah, baby, I’ve missed you.” He pulled his shirt over his head and threw it across the room.

“Oh, have you?” I straddled his lap kissing down his neck and making him turn to mush in my hands.

“I’m sorry I disappeared, Holland. I was just going through some shit and didn’t know how to deal, so I did what I always do; I ran away. I’m so happy you called me. I’ve wanted to feel you again for so long.”

“It’s okay, Bobby, most men run from their problems. We can make up for all of the lost time right now though.”

“God, I want you so bad.”

His one-track mind wasn’t even picking up on the insults.

“Yeah?”

“Yes...”

“God is probably someone you should have gotten close to a long time ago.”

This was going to be a piece of cake. I stood up, taking my clothes off so I was only in my bra and underwear, and did a quick little turn in front of him which sent him through the roof.

“Come here.”

I listened to him, getting back on the bed, and leaned over to whisper in his ear. “If it meant having sex with me forever, would you follow me anywhere?”

“Yes, baby, I would!”

“Would you follow me to Hell if that was where I had to go?”

“Damn, that’s kinda dark, Holland.”

“I’m a little darker now. Answer the question, Bobby.” I kissed down his neck feeling his excitement.

“Yes...yes, I would follow you all the way to Hell just to feel you every moment.”

“Good answer.”

The same black smoke I had witnessed over and over with all of the other men rose from the floor.

“What the fuck!? Holland, what’s happening?”

“I told you I was a little darker now. Guess you should’ve thought twice about ghosting me, mother fucker. Enjoy being Lucifer’s bitch. Hail Satan.” I laughed, putting my clothes back on as the smoke continued to engulf him and suck him down to Hell where he belonged. Not only was I helping Lucifer get souls, but I was also getting revenge.

CHAPTER 6

“I don’t think Azriel is coming for me.”

I was in the bedroom getting ready for the next guy I had arranged to meet up with. It had been a week since Bobby’s bitch ass was sent screaming to the pits of Hell. Roman sat on the bed watching me as I threw on a black skimpy dress.

“I hate to say it, but I told you he probably wouldn’t.”

“I just thought that somehow I would be forgiven and given a second chance. I don’t know how or why, but it was just a hope I had.”

He stood up, wrapping his arms around my waist, and kissed my neck. “I don’t think what you are doing is something God would approve of. I know you have a good heart deep inside there, but sometimes that isn’t enough.”

I turned around to face him, throwing my arms over his shoulders. “I think after this we should talk to Lucifer about a new job. I’ll figure out another way to impress God.”

After sleeping with Roman, I was beginning to dread and rethink what my duties entailed. Suddenly it wasn’t as much fun hanging out with cheating, lying, deceitful, sex-crazed men. I wanted to spend hours in bed with Roman exploring every single part of each other and then fall asleep in each other's arms.

“If anyone can persuade him for a new job, it would be you.” He laughed, kissing me before walking me to the door.

That night I had a guy by the name of Devon Rudolph lined up, who I had drunkenly encountered at a high-end party for the elite which ultimately ended up in a one-night stand. After that night he was hooked for months and it finally took multiple complaints to the cops and a restraining order for him to leave me alone, so I wasn’t surprised when he answered my call and instantly agreed to meet up with me.

Devon was waiting exactly where I had told him with a huge, disgusting smile plastered on his face when I walked inside the hotel. I led him up to the hotel room Roman had reserved for me under an anonymous name. Lately, that had been the easiest way to meet these men who were about to meet their demise and keep our real names hidden in the process, so that no one caught on to our Satan-ordered assignment. Bartholomew had been the only exception.

Sure, in LA there was a lot of evil, but it was preferred we didn’t draw unneeded attention to ourselves so we could stay as long as we deemed appropriate.

“How’s it going, Devon?”

His smile faded once we were inside the hotel room and was replaced with a scowl.

“Don’t look so happy to see me.” I laughed sarcastically.

“Do you think I forgot what you did to me, Holland?”

“Well, I had hoped after all this time you would have.”

“I almost lost my job at the firm from your allegations with the cops. I lost a lot of fucking money because of you when they put me on leave for months while I tried clearing my name with the courts.”

“Well, Devon, you shouldn’t have hounded me for months, blowing up my phone and showing up at my house uninvited. Haven’t you heard the term ‘no means no?’”

His face flushed red.

I wasn’t there to rehash our past or piss him off more. I was there to seduce him, make him agree to sell his soul, and then leave as he got sucked down into the eternal pits of Hell so that I could go home to Roman and have earth-shattering sex.

I placed my hand on top of his arm making little circles with my fingers. “Let’s forget about the past and start fresh. How about a drink?”

I walked over to the fully stocked bar and poured us both a glass of whiskey on the rocks.

He took a sip before setting his glass down. “I would normally say I’m shocked to hear from you, Holland, but in this case I’m really not.”

I raised my eyebrow “Oh yeah? Why’s that? I would assume a restraining order would have made you think I’d never contact you again.” I laughed at my sarcasm that he didn’t find amusing.

His eyes flashed red with anger for a brief moment.

“A woman named Lilith warned me you would be contacting me again.”

“Lilith?” My stomach dropped. I knew that name a little too well as Lucifer had compared me to her before he sent me back to earth.

“She comes to me in my dreams.”

“Well, that is kinda what she does.”

“She promised me more power than I could imagine if I could spill your blood for her.”

“Wha...why?”

“She told me she has a vendetta against Lucifer for casting her away and is going after the closest thing to him.”

“And you think that’s me? Do you think Lucifer really gives a shit about me, dumb ass? Of course she comes in your dreams, Lilith is a succubus. Also, I am already dead, so you can’t spill my blood for anyone.”

“There is a way to kill a demon.”

“Um, you’re wrong again, I’m not a demon.”
