Obsessed(63)
Author: Ivy Smoak

I exhaled slowly and tried to keep my head where it belonged: on the speeches. But it was impossibly hard when Penny was biting the end of her pen. Fuck me. When Heather was done, I quickly scribbled another note to Penny: “Come to my office during lunch and find out. And stop biting your pen. That's not what belongs in your mouth.” I placed it down on her desk.

A moment later she lowered her pen. I flashed her a smile and then tried to be a good professor. Well, as good as I could be. Because I was pretty sure falling for one of my students wasn’t good professor behavior.

When class finally ended, I was surprised to see that Tyler didn't move. He waited patiently until he, Penny, and I were the only people left in the classroom. This wasn’t going to be good. It was tempting to pull Penny out of the back of the classroom. But if Tyler had something to say to me, it was better to get this over with. Tyler finally rose from his seat and turned around.

"Mr. Stevens," I said. I tried to keep my voice even. I fucking hated the kid for trying to hook up with Penny. But I needed to keep a level head. He knew about us. He could make this whole thing blow up.

"What you're doing is wrong," Tyler said.

"Not everything is so black and white," I said calmly. He couldn’t possibly understand. He probably thought I was just fucking Penny. But it was so much more than that. Our relationship wasn’t defined by us being a professor and student. I got how it looked. It would be hard to convince anyone otherwise. That was why it was important to keep things quiet for the next several months.

"In this case, it is."

"I beg to differ."

He glared back at me. "This isn't going to end well.”

I hadn’t expected that. "Are you threatening me?"

Tyler laughed. "No, I would never threaten my professor. I'm fully aware of where the line is, unlike some of us." He shook his head, walked past us, and exited through the back door.

Breathe. "Penny, is that something I should be worried about?" It felt like there was a ticking time bomb on our relationship. I was hoping Tyler would be levelheaded and understand the consequences for Penny if this came out. But he didn’t seem levelheaded at all. He was unwound. And a little vengeful.

"I don't know. I asked him not to tell anyone."

Breathe. I’d learned a long time ago that it was pointless to fixate on things out of my control. "Then there's no use dwelling on it." There was nothing I could do. We just had to wait to see if Tyler was an asshole. My hopes weren’t high. I leaned in and gave her a swift kiss on the lips while the room was still empty.

"Do you still want me to come to your office for lunch?"

"Of course." I held out my hand to help her to her feet.

"Is 12:30 okay?"

"Sounds good. I'll pick us up something." I looked over my shoulder to make sure the room was still empty and then kissed her again. I meant for it to be a quick kiss, but it swiftly turned hard. Fierce. Possessive. When I drew back she blinked up at me with stars in her eyes. I lifted her hand and kissed it. "Until later."

I tried to focus on grading the rest of the speeches from today. But my mind kept wandering back to Penny. It always did that whenever I worked in this office. Because I’d had her right here before. Right on this desk. "Then teach me, Professor Hunter." I was pretty sure those were the sexiest words I had ever heard. I was getting hard just thinking about it.

There was a knock on my office door. Finally. Penny was standing there with the biggest smile on her face. I looked both ways, grabbed her arm, and pulled her into my office. As soon as the door was closed, I pressed her back against it. "Penny."

"Professor Hunter."

Could she feel how much I already wanted her? I leaned forward, running the tip of my nose down the length of hers. "I thought you were going to start calling me James?"

"It's hard to break a habit. And besides, we are in your office."

So true. I was actually hoping it would be a hard habit for her to break. I smiled and pulled away. "We should probably eat."

"Oh."

It’s okay. My mind isn’t on food either. But I didn’t want her to think I only wanted one thing from her. I’d loved just talking to her last night. I could control myself for a few minutes so we could eat. Probably. I walked over and sat down behind my desk. "I picked up sandwiches from Capriotti's. I wasn't sure what you'd like, so I just got two of my favorite."

"And what is your favorite?"

How had she made those words sound so seductive? "Turkey, lettuce, provolone cheese, and mayo." I hoped that was okay.

"That sounds delicious." She sat down across from me, grabbed one of the sandwiches, and unwrapped the paper. "It's actually exactly what I would have ordered." She took a bite. "So good."

I laughed. "We have more in common than I thought."

"Apparently so." She slowly chewed. "Can I ask you something?"

"Of course." Fuck, not more questions. I wanted to be honest with her. But that didn’t mean it was easy for me to divulge information.

"I failed my speech, didn't I?"

I breathed a sigh of relief. "You'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out just like everyone else. No favoritism, remember?"

"I thought you were joking. So I really don't get special treatment?"

I shook my head. But it wasn’t true. How could I not show her favoritism? I clearly wasn’t very professional.

"None at all? I really think there should be certain perks to dating a professor."

"Well, that depends on what you have in mind. I think maybe there could be. I'm sure you could persuade me if you really wanted to."

She put her half-eaten sandwich down on the paper. "This is good. But I'm actually hungry for something else."

I lowered my eyebrows. Screw lunch, I just wanted her too. She stood up and walked around my desk, trailing her index finger along the wood.

"I've had dreams about what you did to me on this desk." She leaned against it and gripped the edge in her hands.

I swallowed hard. I’d had the same dreams. Over and over again. I’d been thinking about it right before she knocked on my door. And all I could think about was one thing. "It would be better to relive it." I lightly brushed the inside of her thigh with my fingertips.

"That's not exactly what I had in mind." She lifted her foot and pushed it against my chair, rolling it back from my desk. And then she knelt down in front of me.

Fuck, this is going to be fun. I was already getting hard.

She ran her hands up my thighs and slowly unbuttoned my jeans. I couldn’t wait to shove my cock down her tight throat.

"You're going to want to scream. But don't make a sound." She repeated the words back to me that I’d told her that first time. She was so fucking sexy.

"Penny."

She unzipped my pants. Opened the flap on my boxers. Pulled out my rock-hard cock.

All for you, baby.

She locked eyes with me as she brought her lips to my tip.

Fuck. She was so hot just like that. With her lips pressed against my tip. Right where that sweet mouth of hers belonged.
