Teyler took a chance and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Now with his shirt on, his bare skin wasn’t against hers, but she could still feel the heat from his body seeping through the fabric. “Hey, you okay? You look a million miles away. Whatcha thinking about?”
Colleen cleared her throat, then smiled shyly at Teyler. “No one has stood up for me like that in a long time. I kind of forgot I deserved it.”
Teyler leaned down and planted a gentle, friendly kiss to her temple. Then another on her cheek. His finger went under her chin, and he raised her gaze to his. “You deserve everything,” he said before his soft lips covered hers in a whisper of a kiss.
Colleen had kissed her fair share of boys before, but it was never like this. Maybe that was the problem though, she’d kissed boys, and Teyler Walker was well on his way to becoming a man. And he kissed liked one. No apologies, no hesitation. He didn’t ask for or wait for her permission, and he certainly didn’t need to wait for her to respond to him, her body did that immediately.
The background faded away when he deepened the kiss and pulled her body flush to his. Teyler grinded his hips on instinct and Colleen groaned at the feel of his large erection against her belly. But before they got too carried away, they were interrupted.
“Get a room, why don’t ya?” Kim asked. “Jeez, put it away, Tey. Don’t you know the rule about not taking something out unless you’re going to share it with everyone?”
Colleen broke away from Teyler’s kiss a little weak in the knees and glared at her friend for ruining what was probably the best moment of her life.
Teyler laughed. “Sorry. She’s right. You don’t need me pawing at you in public when I’m lecturing you about deserving respect.” He adjusted his shorts as best he could then pulled Colleen in front of him until he could get his body under control.
Colleen nodded slightly as she allowed him to cuddle into her neck from behind. She agreed with him, but she didn’t want him to stop touching her, didn’t want his soft kisses to end, definitely didn’t want the feel of his dick to be taken away. Her hands linked with his, placed on her hips as he softly kissed her neck before swinging her around.
Teyler took Colleen’s hand and asked, “Go for a walk with me?”
“Bet she won’t be able to walk back,” Diana teased. “Lucky bitch.”
Teyler laughed at her friends then said, “I’ll make sure she’s fine. I got her.”
Diana and Kim swooned for a minute as Teyler linked his fingers with Colleen’s again and tugged a little. “C’mon. I want to go down by the water. I heard the best fable about this place yesterday when I was in the Saltwater Taffy and Fudge store.”
Diana sucked in air, Kim began to cackle, and Colleen groaned before she asked, “Who told you this fable?”
“The sweet lady that owns the shop. Said her name was Dorothy and told me all about the family that built this castle and that other one. That’s how I found the court. She made me curious, so I went for a walk. Do you know her?”
“Well, of course. I mean, Falls Village is small, Tey, really small. Like everyone knows everybody and everything everyone does. Trust me, we don’t have much longer before the cops show up and threaten to take us each home to our parents that they went to school with. And speaking of parents,” Colleen cleared her throat, “Dorothy is my mom.”
“Well, shit,” Teyler said as he examined Colleen’s features a little more closely. “I should’ve picked up on that. You’re beautiful, just like her.”
Colleen laughed as they made their way to the cliff that led to the beach and the water below. “I take more after my dad with my body though. Georgia has my mom’s.”
Teyler stopped them and took both of Colleen’s hands into his. He stared into her eyes and waited for her to look down before he raised her gaze to his once more. Then his tongue came out and wet his bottom lip as she bit hers. “I’m not trying to get ass, Coll. I’m being honest when I say I think you’re beautiful. Don’t let those assholes get into your head. You’re not a waif. So fucking what? I hate girls that feel like they’re going to break when I touch them. I’d much rather feel a girl’s curves than her bones.”
Colleen shyly ventured a question. “Um, about how many curves and bones have you felt?”
Teyler laughed. “A true man never tells. And does it matter? I’m not with anyone but you right now and your curves are the only ones I want to feel.”
The couple spent time talking while they sat with their sides touching, Teyler’s muscular leg brushing against Colleen’s smooth flesh. She felt the hair on his legs, and it made her smile as the whiskers tickled her.
They talked about everything, high school and how they were both happy it was over. Colleen told Teyler about her dreams of becoming a teacher and working with the special needs population and he spoke about his love of basketball.
“That’s cool,” Teyler said about her aspirations to help children. “I can see you in the front of a classroom.”
“Yeah?” she asked as he hummed an aroused sound from deep in his chest.
Then Teyler shifted in his shorts and smiled at Colleen’s pretty face. “Yeah. I’m kind of picturing you in a red plaid skirt and a white shirt tied here.” Teyler touched her waistline with a finger and she jumped at the touch. “With your hair up in bows.”
Colleen smirked even though she wasn’t comfortable with his finger so close to her least favorite body part. “I get the feeling this is a thought you’ve had before.”
Teyler laughed. “I might have seen a scene or two,” he cleared his throat, “similar to that.”
Colleen shyly looked down and came face-to-face with Teyler’s crotch. He was quite large and very aroused. She heard him sigh as he shifted again for comfort. Then, her eyes raised and met his.
“Coll,” he moaned. “I…um…can I touch you? Like touch you, touch you?”
Colleen nodded. She couldn’t think of anything else she’d like better. Well, maybe having him touch her and find a firm, tight body, but she couldn’t make herself care about that as much with Teyler as she did with other guys. Maybe it was because Teyler was clearly into her where the other guys she’d been with felt like they were just going through the motions, thinking of someone else while they were with her.
Teyler didn’t make her feel that way. Teyler made her feel wanted and beautiful.
Teyler reached behind his neck and grasped his T-shirt by the collar and ripped it off over his head. As his ripped abdomen came into view again, Colleen sighed. This time, they were alone, and she knew it would lead to more bare skin. Bare skin that led to places lower on his athletic body. Places that were packed with fun, but definitely not fun-sized.
“Can I?” he asked as he nodded at and reached for the hem of Colleen’s shirt.
She nodded even though she wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to let him see her stomach so soon. What if he changed his mind once he saw that it wasn’t as flat as it used to be?
But as Teyler moved closer and their lips met again, his soft and gentle, she forgot about her hang-ups for a moment and just lived.
