The Petrov Brothers(35)
Author: J.L. Beck

“One way or another, I'm going to call her,” I growl, proving to him that I won't back down. My sister deserves to know I'm safe. I might not able to go home to her again, but she needs to know that I’m okay, that and I just want to hear her voice. She's all I have left and knowing she’s okay, too, will ease the gaping wound that's formed in my chest.

Ivan stomps out of the room, and heavy footfalls echo through the house. Seconds later, he returns with a large box. He lets it fall onto the floor with a loud thud at the edge of the mattress and starts to open it, pulling back the sides to expose the contents.

“I ordered you some clothes and had them sent here.” He hands me a pair of underwear, a shirt, and some cotton shorts all in my size.

“Thank you.” I start to peel off the outfit they put me in at the club and put on the clothes Ivan gave me. Not wanting to fight anymore right now, I pull the comforter back and climb underneath it. The sheets are cold against my bare skin but I’m comfortable knowing I'll always be sleeping on a real bed every night. I pull the comforter back over my body and burrow into the pillows. I hear Ivan rustling with his clothing and then feel him climb into the bed, sliding under the blankets next to me.

It is not long before I hear his breathing even out and I’m certain he’s asleep. I, however, am wide awake. I stare at the ceiling for a while before it occurs to me that I could just call her now while he is asleep. He’ll never know… I can delete the call, slip back into bed, and all will be good in the world again. Nervously and oh-so-slowly, I carefully slip out of the bed and look around the room. I didn't see Ivan with his phone on him. I’m sure he got rid of it, but there must be one in here, or maybe even a computer. I could always send her a message from there or email.

On tiptoes, I sneak through the still-dark house, trying my best not to bump into anything. I find my way into the living room and turn on the lamp on the side table. As soon as the living room is illuminated with soft light, I spot it. A phone. There it is a phone sitting next to the TV. A landline. I grab it off the charging station and hold it to my ear until I hear the dial tone.

I sigh in relief and start to dial one of the few numbers I know by heart… my sister’s. My hands shake as I hold the phone to my ear. This is it. In a few seconds, I will finally hear Ella’s voice again. My heart stops beating in my chest when I hear someone else's voice come over the line.

“I’m sorry the number you have dialed has been temporarily disconnected. Please try your call again later,” a computerized voice says on repeat. I shake my head and hang up just to dial once more. When I hear the same message as last time, I hang up and put the phone back on its station. I want to the throw the phone out into the yard, scream, maybe even punch something. I'm so angry, so upset.

I try to think of an explanation and find myself walking into the kitchen. I open a couple cabinets until I find the cups and then I get a glass of water. I try once more to digest my newest discovery. Why would she have her phone turned off? Nothing makes sense… nothing. Then suddenly, I get an idea. I could call her work.

Maybe they know where she is. I put the glass down and walk back into the living room and to the phone. Just as I pick it up and start dialing the number, I hear someone move behind me.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Ivan’s loud voice makes my pulse race, and I jump a foot off the ground. My cheeks start to heat with embarrassment because I know I've been caught.

“I-I’m trying to call my sister, but her phone is disconnected.” My voice is weak, and I hang my head in shame, knowing Ivan’s going to lose it at any given second. I risked him getting angry and finding out I went against his word and for nothing.

“I told you not to call anybody! Do I need to tie you to the fucking bed? What do I need to do for you to grasp the seriousness of this situation?”

My eyes go wide with fear. He wouldn’t do that… he wouldn’t tie me up. I swallow, knowing that I'm wrong. Of course, he would tie me up.

“I didn’t risk everything to save you just so you can do something stupid that gets you killed.”

“You can tie me to the bed, but you can't keep me there forever.” I shove past him and when I hear him hot on my heels, I start to run. I know there's no way I can overpower him, but I could make a run for it. Possibly escape. The thought makes my heart ache as I head down the hallway, still there is no way I’m going to let him tie me up. He didn’t help me escape captivity to hold me captive himself, did he?

“Come on, Kitten. You know running from me is no good. I’m stronger and faster… then there’s what will happen to you when I catch you. I can promise you it's going to include making you wish you hadn't picked up that phone.”

I turn around and notice he’s blocking any chance I have at running back down the hall. It doesn't help that it’s impossibly dark, and my pulse is pounding in my ears making it hard for me to hear anything. I’m disoriented but I need to make a run for it.

I aim to move and duck past his side, but he steps forward, grabbing onto me. His fingers sink into my tender flesh before I have the chance to do anything. In an instant, he has my legs kicked out from underneath me. I fall to the ground with a gasp, landing with a hard thud.

I curse and thank him at the same time. If he didn’t have a grip on my arm, I would have landed harshly against the wooden floor but, like always, he rescues me, pulling me up a little just before I land.

Still, the floor is cold and unforgiving. I gasp for air, and my teeth rattle. I try to get up, but he is already on top of me, pushing me to the floor face first. My head is turned to the side, while my cheek is pressed to the floor. He towers over me, placing his mouth at my ear.

“What to do with you now, Kitten?” Shivers ripple across my body. I feel his erection press against my ass as he leans down, pressing more weight into my backside. That combined with his hot breath on my skin has my inner walls clenching and my core tingling in excitement. Before I even know what I’m doing, I move my hips and push my ass against his cock.

He groans behind me, sending another delicious shiver of pleasure down my spine. “You like this, Kitten? You like me chasing you and holding you down? Do you want me to fuck you?”

I didn’t realize how turned on by this I was until this moment. I never really thought about this before… thought about what turns me on. I never had the chance to explore my sexuality. However, right now, with Ivan pressing me to the floor, I realize that I do like this. I like this a lot. I’m so wet; I can feel my arousal through the thin material of my shorts.

Ivan grabs a fist full of my hair and pulls my head back slightly. “I asked you a question,” he growls, pulling harder on my hair. The pain on my scalp sends tingles of pleasure down my back and straight into my soaking core.

“Yes,” I moan into the darkness. “I want you…”

“You want me to do what, Kitten?” There's a playfulness to his voice but also an edge. He wants me to tell him exactly what I want. I feel his fingers trail down my spine, blazing a path of pleasure and need. His touch is fire, and it’s burning me alive.

“Fuck me… please.” I barely get the words out before Ivan shifts on top of me and pulls my shorts down my legs. He keeps one hand on the back of my neck, securing me to the floor, while with his other he lifts up my hips until I’m on my knees. My legs are spread, and my bare ass is in the air.
