Held Captive by a Criminal's Heart(7)
Author: B. Love

“You feel that?” he checked, kissing her neck. “You feel me?”

“Yes, baby,” she moaned, sliding her hand down his chest.

His body was bigger, as if he’d been working out every day that he was gone. Siara loved the feel of his deepened six pack. He had a couple of new tattoos, too. Later, she’d study them. For now, she only wanted to feel him.

Their height difference had Silky using her leg to pull her down to his hips. At her opening, he ran the tip of his dick up and down her wetness. Normally, she’d have to convince him not to devour her, but this time, he was just as ready to enter her as she was ready for him to. As soon as he slid inside of her, Siara began to dig her nails into his back. She bit down on his shoulder, giving herself time to adjust to him.

The sharp pain made her feel like a virgin all over again, but Siara knew the pleasure that followed would be worth it.

He seemed longer, but as he moved, Siara realized it was because his dick was straighter. Usually, it was curved upwards. But that wasn’t anything new. Since they gave one another their virginities at seventeen, Silky’s dick had grown and changed shapes over the years. When they first started having sex, it curved downwards. In his twenties, it was straight. In his thirties, it began to curve upwards. Now, it felt like it was going straight again.

She wondered if it was because so much time had passed since their last time together. Whatever the case, Siara wouldn’t complain. As he rolled his hips and stroked her deeply… Siara wouldn’t complain at all.

They both were looking at each other with stupid grins on their faces. All night last night, they made love. Neither wanted to get up this morning but they knew they had to. Word would soon spread of Silky’s release, so they wanted to spend as much time together as they possibly could. Their day started with another lovemaking session, and if Siara wasn’t already sprung, she would have been now.

Being away from her for three months had turned Silky into a beast. He was always hungry for her, and Siara was dedicated to making sure he got his fill. While they were out, Silky got a call from Taylor letting him know the charge against him had been dropped, and they couldn’t wait to celebrate. They ended up going shopping for the baby before heading to Silky’s favorite restaurant for dinner. Siara suggested they invite their families out with them, but Silky declined. In that moment… he didn’t want anyone or anything taking his attention away from her.

“I talked to Principal Kyle while you were trying on clothes earlier. He said my old job is waiting for me.”

“That’s great, baby! I’m so happy that everything is falling back into place for you. A part of me feels bad for questioning how this is even happening, but I’m just glad God was looking out for you. And the fact that this happened before the trial started?” Her head shook as she smiled. “I’m just so grateful.”

Silky stretched his arm across the table, and Siara placed her hand inside. “Thank you for standing by my side and not losing faith in me. I wouldn’t have blamed you if the whole sperm thing caused you to doubt me.”

“I’m just glad you remembered that you’d had some frozen. That saved you, baby. I don’t even want to think about what would have happened if you wouldn’t have remembered that.”

Leaning forward, Silky kissed each of her knuckles.

“All that matters now is it’s over, and we can go on with our lives. All three of us.”

Every time he mentioned their baby, Siara blushed. Now was no different. And now that he was out, Silky was determined to do whatever he had to do to keep that beautiful smile on her face.

Silky waited until Siara was nowhere in sight to answer his parents. They’d met up for lunch, and his mother asked him how he was adjusting. At first, Silky said he was fine – because that’s what he’d been telling Siara ever since he’d made it back. But this was his chance to tell the truth. And the truth of the matter was, he was having a hard time adjusting.

Though he was happy to be home, his mind hadn’t fully settled yet. He didn’t have the peace he thought he’d feel.

“I’ve been putting up a brave front for my wife, but I’m honestly struggling right now,” he admitted, head tilting as he sat back in his seat.

“What’s the problem?” his father asked, sitting up in his seat.

“Being blamed for a murder I didn’t commit is still fucking with me. I want to know who really killed Julia. And being locked up for three months almost fucked with my mental. I’ve gotten so used to not talking, not trusting, always looking over my back… it’s kind of hard for me to be there for Siara like she needs me to be. But I’m trying. I just… have these moments where I crave solitude and I can’t get that living with her. I go from work to home with a pregnant wife who missed me so much that she wants to be under me all the fucking time.”

Silky gritted the last part, and his irritation was quickly replaced with guilt. This was what he wanted… to be back home with his wife. Now that he was, he was in desperate need of relief. Of space.

“Have you talked to her about this?” Janice asked.

Devin followed up with, “Why don’t you take a vacation? Get your mind right. Take a few days away from everything and everyone.”

“That sounds good,” Siara agreed, wrapping her arm around his shoulders and placing a kiss to his cheek before sitting down. “Where we going?”

“We were actually hoping Silky would go alo–”

“Ma,” Silky interrupted quickly, taking Siara’s hand into his. His head shook as he looked from his mother to his father.

Siara’s smile faltered as she looked at the side of Silky’s face.

“Is everything okay?”

“No,” Devin answered. “But it’s not our place to tell you what’s wrong.”

With a loaded exhale, Silky looked away from them all, eyes landing on the group of people walking to their cars outside.

“What’s wrong, baby?”

“It’s not important.”

Janice disagreed, alarming Siara even more.

“You know you can talk to me about any and everything. What is it, Silk?”

“I just don’t feel like I need to talk to you about it. I’ve talked to my parents about it, so I’m good.”

Siara scoffed with a shake of her head. “That’s always been your problem. Your first move is always to them, not me. I’m your wife. I should always be the first person you go to. We’re supposed to cling to each other, remember?”

“I can’t come to you if it’s about you, Siara. Let’s just leave it at that.”

One of the biggest differences between Julia and Siara was that Siara would never disrespect him in public. She may have bitten his head off in private if she was really upset, but she always honored him with love in public. When the waitress returned, Devin asked for the check. He paid for them all, and Siara was the first one out of her seat when it was time to leave.

The entire ride home was silent, and even though Silky wanted to fix what was broken between them, he couldn’t deny that he enjoyed the silence. That silence was over when they made it home, though. She waited until he’d unlocked the door to ask, “Are you really not going to tell me what’s bothering you?”
