ALAN (MEMBERS FROM MONEY SEASON TWO, #40)(12)
Author: Katie Dowe

“Are you going to suggest that I leave?” He asked her quietly without turning to look at her.

“I should.”

“But?” This time he turned to look at her and felt his cock rising at the light from the moon that was shining on her ebony skin.

“But I cannot seem to get enough of you.” She told him with a shrug. “Maybe this thing between us will burn out in a couple of days.”

“And if it doesn’t?”

“I don’t want to think about that aspect of it,” she folded her hands beneath one cheek as she turned to look at him. “We are from two different worlds Alan, it is no use trying to kid ourselves into thinking otherwise.”

“About that apartment….?”

“We can meet here.”

“Not if we want to keep us a secret from the press. This is an apartment building where lots of people will be coming and going?”

“And you are ashamed to be seen with me.”

“No, I would like nothing better than to parade you around town. But….” His jaw tightened, and he looked away.

“Your very white parents would have a shit fest if it was revealed that their very white son was seen with a black woman.” She lifted a slender hand. “I am the real deal baby. I am not mixed with cream or anything like that. I am straight black coffee.” She dropped her hand and looked at him. “This is not a good idea Alan.”

“I cannot stop,” he admitted tensely as he reached out a hand and trailed down her cheek. “I told myself this morning that I could always quit whenever I wanted to, but I cannot. I can’t stop thinking about you – wanting you. When I was at the club, I could not concentrate on anything other than you.” He rolled her over and shifted so that he was covering her body with his. She felt the heaviness of his erection and squirmed, her fingers curling into his chest. “Feel that?” he asked her huskily as he moved. “I want you all the time.”

“I am not into secrecy. My life has always been an open book. I am not ashamed of whom I am, and I refuse to be with someone who cannot be seen openly with me.”

“Athena, please give me time but don’t push me away.” He nuzzled at her nose and then moved to her lips, his breath mingling with hers and had her going weak. “In the meantime, I just want to be with you, nothing else. I don’t want to think about the outside world or anything like that. I want to get the chance to know you. What you like and dislike,” he brushed his lips against hers and sent heat curling between her legs. “Please give me that chance.” His tongue darted between her open lips and he delved, his tongue tangling with hers. She lifted her hands and wrapped them around his neck, her fingers curling into his thick mane of blonde hair. She had no idea what she was doing but she could not think, not with her heart thundering inside her chest and her body feeling as if it was going to erupt in flames! His mouth devoured hers, the kiss turning her into putty, her body lifting towards his, seeking more, demanding that he gave her more. He reached between them and guided his aching cock into her wet warmth, his body shuddering as she enveloped her with her tightness. He eased in some more, going in deep, a sigh and a groan escaping him as she lifted her long legs and wrapped them around his trim waist. Her nipples were mashed against his chest, the furrows of hairs tickling the sensitive buds and sending tremors through her body. He gave and she took, the emotions tumbling through them as they both reached for the stars!

Chapter 5

They had been seeing each other secretly for three weeks when he asked her to marry him. At first she had resisted him, his persistence in asking – no begging her to come to his apartment at nights. He had done what he said and had moved out of his parents’ place. The privacy at the apartment was secured because he was the only one living there – a kind of luxury loft that did not need any form of security at all. It was perfect for their secret rendezvous and he looked forward to her coming home to him almost every night. There were a couple of nights that she did not turn up because she had some late-night shoot or had to go over to her mother’s place and during that time, he would spend the night missing her so much that he could not believe it. He had fallen in love with her and he could not see himself with anyone else but her. They had never been on an official date because he could not afford for word to get out that they were together. Things with his parents were complicated as it is, and he had to ease into telling them slowly. He had never met her mother because Athena had told him that she would wonder about the secrecy and would never approve. He had finally told her about his parents hang ups about people they considered to be minorities and she had blazed at him in hurt anger and had refused to come to him for two days. He had ended up going to her apartment and begging her to let him in.

“You have no right to shut me out!” He had told her hoarsely, his hungry gaze wandering over her slender curves. She had been wearing short pajamas, something silky and sexy that molded her curves.

“I have every right. You told me that your parents were racists and I realized that I cannot be part of that. I am black and my complexion is not going to change. You need to find yourself some pure-bred white woman and be done with it. They will never accept me Alan and no matter how much time you give them, I will always be the enemy. I don’t want to see you again.”

He had felt the fear piercing his heart at that. “I am not letting you go.”

“It is not going to work man! Give it up.”

“I can’t.” he had said miserably. “I am in love with you.”

She had stared at him for a moment before striding into the direction of her room. He had waited a few seconds before following her. “Did you hear me?”

“I heard you!” She had told him calmly as she climbed into bed.

“And?” He had demanded.

“It’s your funeral.” She had told him drolly. “Now get in.”

Now standing inside the loft with the backdrop of the star-studded sky behind them, Alan was proposing to her.

“You are out of your mind.”

“With love...!” He went on his knees and took one slender hand in his. “It will have to be secret at first” He stopped as she tried to tug her hand away. “Please hear me out.” He told her quietly. “I still need time darling. But I don’t want to wake up one day and find out that I have lost you.”

“Where on earth could we get married without the press getting wind of it?”

“We could go out of State – a courthouse and just do it. We would be legally married and there is nothing anyone could do to stop that.” He withdrew the ring from the pocket of his jacket pocket and flipped the black box open to reveal the exquisite diamond. “Marry me Athena.”
