“You got it love.”
“Stop stalking me.” He paused.
“I’ll try.” Shaking my head, I sigh thinking what the hell is wrong with me for accepting this so easily.
“Try as hard as you can.” Taking the ring from the box I slide it onto my finger. “I guess I don’t mind being stuck with and weirdo like you.” He stands and goes to pick me up but I back away. “Let’s recall the last time you did that.” He chuckles helping me back into bed.
“Ugh so touching.” Unity clasped her hands together and bounced on her feet. “When the babies are born you can have your wedding here on the farm. You’ll probably be spend a lot of time here until the babies learn how to control their form th-” one of the twins covered her mouth and smiled apologetically at us.
“Let’s allow them the opportunity to get settled in and talk amongst themselves first before we get into the dos and don’ts of our society.” She nodded.
When they exit the room, Channing came over and sat next to me but neither of us said anything. We just grasped each other’s hand and for some reason that was enough.
“I love you. Thank you for giving me another chance.”
“I love you too. Thank you for giving me your love and my babies.” He placed his hand on my stomach and I swear it was as if I could feel his love.
“Anytime babylove. Anytime.”

Channing
“Come on you can do it. You can do it.” Cheering, Angel and I watch as our son does his best to get his wolf ears to pop out but end of laughing when he lets one rip. His sister who is running around with her tail and ears out like it’s no problem, ignores us.
“I see Whitney is excelling, as usual.” Landen came in giving us a hug.
“Hey how’s everything at the company going?” I ask following him, sitting down in our new home.
“Same ol’ same ol’, nothing as exciting as this.” Scooping up Wade he pats his back and I could see something I never thought I’d see on my brother’s face. Jealousy. “How are you guys holding up over here? Is it weird having to live here with a bunch of wolves?” Angel comes over handing him a beer and goes to grab Wade from him, but he holds him closer to his chest and she smiles sadly, patting his shoulder.
“I’m going outside to talk with Unity let me know if you guys need anything.” Giving her a kiss, I wait until she walks out and turn to my brother.
“No, everything is like being in a euphoria here. I never thought I’d want to step away from my position but it’s the best decision I could have made. There was no way in hell Angel was going to allow the kids to stay here without us, so it works.” Rocking his nephew, he hums in his ear and I can no longer ignore the obvious. “What’s up with you? Any progress with Nia?” He looked up, eyes turning silver and I back off the subject.
“I didn’t come over to talk about that. I wanted to know how the Irish Don’s first Christmas party turned out. Did you have a good time?”
“Oh man we actually had a blast. You should have come. You wouldn’t believe the fucking wealth that fucker has. It’s not as much even a fraction of the vampire king or Teagan and Zane but the fact that it’s even comparable is frustrating.”
“Damn that much huh?” I nod and he looks at me curiously. “Did you really meet the vampire king and and queen? Were you scared? I… I heard that their daughter is betrothed to a dra-”
“Hey babe Teagan and Zane need you out here.” I get up and go to leave but stop.
“Let me just say this; Domi is the most frightening thing I’ve ever met. I’d be happy if never see him again. Not very sociable but big on manners.” Landen looked at me in disbelief but I give him a look indicating I’m speaking nothing but truth.
Walking outside I look around still in awe of what I’m seeing. All the wolves running around playing and knowing that that they are actual people. It’s crazy meeting people who understand and wouldn’t even bat an eye at all the things I did to get Angel but in truth understand the compulsive need to be with her. It feels good to be understood.
Walking over to my wife and cousins I chat with them about matters regarding Whitney’s development. Everyone goes on high alert when Nia walks up out of nowhere, holding a gun and shooting it in the air.
“Landen Stohurst get your ass out here right now!”
“Nia?” Angel looks over to her friend that she hasn’t seen in months and tries to go over to her but I grab her arm. Though we could all sense she was no threat to us, she wanted my brother. When Landen walked out of the house still holding Wade to my fucking surprise Nia drops the gun and turn into a wolf, growling.
Landen walks over to me, handing me Wade. Again, to my surprise, he walks over to Nia and whispers something in her ear. She just whimpers and runs off, Angel concerned for her friend runs after her calling her name. I’m sure she’s more than a little shocked at these turn of even as I am. Nia is a wolf? I watch as he put his head in his hands, visibly crying. Then he looks up with all the sadness and remorse in the world as his obsession runs off.
