Shattered Souls(141)
Author: B C Morgan

Aeron is working in a garage, and he’s the first one they call if they need a shift covering. Because he’s always happy to do it. Darius tries to help out at the bakery, but his cooking skills haven’t gotten any better, just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. He works in an educational center, and teaches people self defense. He loves it, the fact that he’s helping others to feel strong and to be able to protect themselves, I know he needs it, and I’m supporting him completely.

That’s not to say that the relationship is easy, we still have issues with jealousy and self doubt, but we make time for each other one on one, and do things together as well.

It’s me and Darius tonight, and I’m excited and nervous. But the good kind. The love between us is effortless, it just creeped up on me. Maybe it’s because he was there for me when I couldn’t have anyone else, or the fact he always saw me so easily. He never stops reminding me how strong he thinks I am, how amazing, or beautiful. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the compliments, but I don’t blush uncontrollably and laugh out right anymore. So, progress.

“Are you ready, Snowflake?” He stands in my doorway and I nod my head. My wedding ring glistens under the light, and I still feel dizzy thinking about the fact that I’m married now.

Tonight isn’t about that though, it’s about us. Making sure my marriage doesn’t interfere with the other men in my life who mean as much to me as my… husband.

“I’m ready, mountain man.” I place my hand in his and he pulls me against him. Holding me close, giving me the sense of safety and calm I always associate with my knight.

“Where are we going tonight?”

“I want to show you something.” He pulls away, before reclaiming my hand and leading me down the stairs.

My other guys are in the living room, playing with Belle. I give them all a smile, before he leads me outside, and over to his car. It doesn’t take long for us to get settled, and for him to put the car into drive. I don’t know where we’re going, but the destination is never as much fun as the journey.

“Okay, we’re here.” He rubs his neck, before climbing out, and walking around to open my door for me.

He leads me down to the beach, and tears prick my eyes as I take in the table set up, with a bottle in an ice bucket, and fake candles that can’t be blown out by the wind.

“Darius, you didn’t have to do this.” I feel choked up, as he leads me closer, and pulls my chair out for me.

“You can thank Emmet for this, he managed to swing it so I could pull this off, and Tucker knew a chef or something who was happy to make the meal for us. I can’t take all the credit.” He drops a kiss on my cheek, before claiming his seat.

“This is why I love you, mountain man. You never try to claim more credit than you put in yourself.” I smile at him as his mouth drops open, and stares at me while undoing his top button, and tugging at his collar.

“Did I say something wrong?” Shit, I have a habit of doing that, and I never realize until it’s too late.

“N-no, not at all. It’s just…” His cheeks are so red, and his voice sounds strangled.

“Darius, what’s wrong?”

“You’ve never said you loved me before.” He drops his hand from his collar, and looks deep in my eyes.

I didn’t realize, I thought I had. I’ve known for a while now, so why didn’t I say it? Did I just forget too?

“Darius, I’m so sorry. I never realized I hadn’t said it.” I sink my teeth into my bottom lip as he gets off his chair, and drops down in front of me, kneeling before me, and making my breath catch.

“It’s okay, I knew you did. I never expected you to say the words, it’s not like you’re always saying it to everyone else. You show me that you do, everyday. It just, made my heart literally skip a beat hearing it aimed at me.” He takes my hands, as his thumbs stroke circles across them. “I love you, Snowflake, I hope you know that.”

“Of course I do, I guess that’s why I didn’t realize we’d never said the words.” I laugh nervously, as his mouth meets mine. Light, teasing, and I lean closer.

“That’s because we don’t need words, we never have. We show each other with our actions, and I will never stop showing you.” I whimper as he moves away, and pulls the food out.

I know this is why we’re here, but suddenly, I’m not in the mood for food. I want to feel as close to him as I can possibly get, and I don’t want to waste anymore time.

“Are you hungry?” He meets my gaze with a smile dancing across his lips, and I shake my head.

“Thank fuck for that.” He’s out of his chair, and lifting me faster than I can blink. My legs wrap around his waist, while my arms loop around his neck. He carries me over to a blanket on the sand, and places me down gently.

His fingers dance up my bare thighs, as I shiver. He skims across my panties and I push my hips up to meet his hand. He smiles against my mouth, sliding his tongue inside as his fingers enter me. I gasp against him, already trembling, even though we’ve barely started. Anyone could see us, and I’m beyond caring about that.

“Not here, Snowflake, let’s go back,” he groans against me as I clench around his fingers, and my head arches back.

“The car?” I bat my lashes and he barks out a laugh, before pulling me back up, and hurrying me over to where we parked.

He drives until we arrive at the bakery, and heat pools in my stomach. I haven’t christened a single room in this place, and it feels only right for it to be with him.

We rush to the door, before slamming the lock in place, and making sure the blinds stay drawn. We don’t bother with the lights, as I slowly unbutton his shirt. Kissing every inch of his chest as it’s revealed to me. I drop down to my knees as I unbuckle his belt, he strokes my hair away from my face, as he breathes heavily.

“You don’t have to do this,” he chokes out, as I slide his pants and boxers down, and grip him at the base.

“I know, but I want to.” I kiss his tip, as he draws in a shuddering breath. I glide my tongue across the tip, revelling in the taste of his pre-cum, loving that I can do this to him.

I open my mouth wide, drawing him in. He doesn’t grip my hair. Instead, he strokes my face, as I hollow my cheeks and take him as deep as I can. The minute I hum, he begins to moan. I start moving my head faster, using my hand in sync, to cover what I can’t draw in. He moans my name as I lose myself in the sounds he makes, wanting to taste every inch of him.

He slides his hands under my arms, and pulls me up. He slips free with a loud pop, and I almost complain until he slides the straps of my dress down my arms. His eyes take in every inch of me as it puddles at my feet, I step out of my panties, and unclasp my bra, before sliding my hands onto his bare waist.

He scoops me up and carries me over to the counter. I try to forget about all the health violations, but I know I can easily scrub the counter clean. Right now, all I want to focus on is him. He drops down to his knees, mirroring my previous pose, and hooks my legs over his shoulders. His eyes meet mine, as he pulls my clit into his mouth. Sucking, licking, teasing. Sparks shoot up my spine as I thread my fingers through his hair, crying out as he slides two fingers inside, and draws me close to the edge.
