Rock Block(41)
Author: Mickey Miller

I tremble, and I have to renew my effort to stay in the conversation.

“When was it…” Ryan chimes in, and I notice how quiet he’s been all night. “Last winter term?”

“When I got back from study abroad,” Luke clarifies.

His hand moves another inch up my thigh, and he is now dangerously close to my opening.

Thank God for drapey, white tablecloths.

“It’s a great idea,” I say.

Luke moves his hand up and my gut clenches, because his finger now brushes against my clit ever so slightly.

“You guys don’t know how I came up with the idea?”

They all shake their head.

“Well y’all know I studied abroad with Sky, here. She would talk all about how she read this Peace Corps blog where a volunteer worked in a library and would put on theater shows for Sex Education in a small town in Africa where it was taboo to talk about such things. She got me thinking that we should give back locally, to the schools here. You really rubbed off on me, Sky.” He says the very last part with an especially wry grin.

“I…didn’t…know I rubbed off on you like that.”

“Sky. You’ve rubbed off on me in ways you don’t even know. That’s probably why no one can believe we’re dating.”

“Well…they…better believe it.”

I’m honestly not sure if the rest of the table knows what’s going on underneath the white tablecloth. At this point, it’s beyond my control.

My breathing hitches, and I try not to tremble. I try to take a sip of my wine, because that’s what I would be focused on if, you know, Luke wasn’t wrapping two giant fingers inside me.

The dessert arrives, interrupting the flow of conversation--thank Jesus--and there’s a bowl of chocolate mousse put down in front of me.

Forget the vapors—I’m practically on the brink of an orgasm. My skin flushes red and my inner muscles clench around Luke’s fingers.

I lean my nose against the side of his neck and whisper, “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

He taps my ear, and I turn my head so he can whisper with his lips brushed up against my mouth.

“I’m making you come at the table before I fuck you tonight, to show everyone who you belong to, and that in addition to being my best friend, you’re also my dirty little whore.”

The low timbre of his voice combined with those very last words push me over the edge.

Who talks like that?

The electricity shoots through my body and I can’t help the awkward noises that escape my lips.

Luckily, the audience launches into applause, drowning out the noise.

I’m done keeping it together. I feign some sort of clapping motion, but what I’m really doing is internally shaking, trying to swallow the moans that are exploding inside me. Trying to suppress my orgasm only serves to make it crash through me with the force of a thousand suns when it finally comes, involuntarily.

I catch Luke’s gaze. He looks at me out of the corner of his eye, a master at looking at me without seeming like he’s looking at me. He bites his lower lip as he watches me come.

When I come back to normal consciousness, I look around and see Sasha staring at me from a few tables over.

I don’t think anyone could have known what just happened. But I also lacked some outer awareness there for about five minutes.

Luke smirks. “Want some chocolate mousse?”

“Yes please.”

Dipping his finger—not the spoon into the chocolate on his plate—he scoops a bite into my mouth and has me suck the chocolate off.

Not to be outdone, he licks off the rest.

And yes, it’s a combination of chocolate and my juices.

The act is so feral, so lewd, so immature. Yet I feel myself getting turned on again as he keeps his eyes locked on me while he sucks his finger.

“The chocolate mousse tastes extra good tonight for some reason,” he comments to the table.

The next act starts, and it’s one of the sophomores who is trying to ‘make it’ as a country singer. He’s not half bad.

His song is so romantic, talking about true love under the stars, something poetic like that.

Me? My head is spinning right now.

Luke’s hand is still on my thigh.

The taste of chocolate and myself lingers in my mouth.

The bloodhound nose of Jennifer squints right at me.

Sasha is staring at me, too. My friends generally don’t covet each other’s boyfriends, so this is a new version of girl world for me.

Ian and Roger are probably noticing more than they’re letting on.

The poor sap Ryan sits with a practiced look on his face all night.

His fiancée’s hands along with his are above the table, not touching.

And I’m still so wet, with the word’s that Luke spoke ringing in my ear.

Which forces an internal debate ...

Which is it that turned me on so much?

The words themselves? Because they were over the line for what I would have accepted from Federico or AJ.

I’ve never been a dirty little whore.

No, it’s not the words that are turning me on.

It’s the man they’re coming from and suddenly they don’t seem so bad after all. Boundary-pushing? Yes. But Luke’s the man I trust, and the one I want pushing my boundaries.

And I don’t mind being whatever he wants me to be for him.

In fact, it turns me on.

The night rolls on, and it turns into quite the revelry of dancing and debauchery. The DJ plays a mix of pop music and club, and we dance into the wee hours at the banquet.

Sasha and Jennifer shoot razorblade-like glares at me while I dance with Luke with his arms wrapped around me. We were side by side all evening and it certainly didn’t go without notice, I loved it.

As we approach the closing time of two a.m., the hotel workers try to shut things down.

It’s turned into quite the shitshow on the dance floor—I mean, we are college students, after all. Drunken make-outs, close-quarters grinding, twerking and feeling each other up. Hey, who am I to judge after what Luke did to me under the table with everyone in plain view.

The lights flash on, and Ian informs everyone that the after party will be up in room 242 of the hotel.

This is when the trouble starts.

Luke and I have been shamelessly making out on the dance floor, but now we follow the crowd of people who are heading outside to the parking lot to catch the shuttle bus back to campus. When he wraps his arms around me and I press my body up against him, I light up inside like a Christmas tree.

I want him to just take me back to the room, so I whisper that in his ear.

“Luke. Please, I just need you inside me right now.”

His response is a low growl and a kiss that sends a bolt of electricity through my entire body.

I’m buzzing with so much drunkenness and glee running through me. Maybe I should have taken it a little slower but it was hard to slow down with as good as a time we were having.

“Ready to go back?” he says, and holds my hands as we stand in the cold, watching everyone file onto the bus.

I give him a strange look as a cold breeze hits us.

“I thought you had a room here?” Did he have more to drink than I thought? Did I?
