Tangled Sheets(374)
Author: J.L. Beck

Taking a deep breath, she held onto the wheel.

It wasn’t bad. Actually, it was easy.

“I’m really driving?” she asked.

“You sure are.”

“But how do I know where we’re going?”

Making some adjustments, he replied, “Let me worry about that.”

“So where are we going?”

“Put-in-Bay. We can grab something to eat there.”

“I’ve never been.”

“How have you lived in Ohio this long and never been on Lake Erie or Put-in-Bay?

“I don’t know.”

It was then she realized she may have led a sheltered life.

“Well, it’s a good thing you’ve got me.”

Her core clenched at the heated look he gave her.

Down, girl, she chided herself.

Her libido was out of control. A weekend filled with hot, sweaty sex, and her body was trying to make sure she was always ready.

“Don’t look at me like that, Alana.”

“Like what?”

She couldn’t help her curious nature. How was she looking at him?

“Your eyes are telling me you want my cock buried deep inside you again.”

Kissing her cheek, he then moved to her ear, his teeth snagging her earlobe. His warm breath caressed her skin, sending a shiver of desire coursing through her.

It was astounding how her body reacted to his. London Keith could do whatever he wanted to her.

“London,” she breathed, her eyes fluttering closed. They quickly snapped back open, as she almost forgot she was driving the boat. Lucky for her, there was nothing but open waters.

“What is it?”

His hands slipped underneath her shirt, gliding across her belly.

“There’s something else I haven’t done before,” she confessed as he fondled her breasts.

“And that is?”

“I’ve never had sex on a boat in open water.”

The growl that came out of his mouth was something she’d never heard before.

“Go down to the stateroom, Alana.” Helping her off his lap, he pushed those sexy aviator glasses up to the top of his head, giving her an intense glare. Her breath froze in her chest. Standing, he hit a few buttons on the control panel. “When I get down there, you better be naked and waiting on the bed.”

Alana turned and sped down the stairs, not needing to be told twice.

London’s breath tickled her ear.

“Good morning.”

Alana groaned and snuggled closer to him. His warm body was heaven. She didn’t want to leave the cocoon of his arms.

It was Monday morning, and time for reality to set it.

Her sex filled weekend with the hottest guy she’d ever met was over.

“Five more minutes.”

“Nope. Time to get up.”

Flinging the covers off of her, she shrieked as the cool air of the room kissed her bare skin.

“What are you doing?” she groaned, catching him staring at her with a wide grin.

“Someone not a morning person?”

Removing his arm from under her, he rolled out of bed. The sight of his naked form had her reaching for her glasses.

His body was perfection.

“I’m not a Monday morning person,” she replied through a yawn.

Propping her head up on a pillow, she watched him walk around the bed, taking in the sight of his semi-hard cock.

Now that was something she’d wake up bright and early for on a Monday.

“Come on, Alana.”

Coming to her side of the bed, he captured her ankle in his hand.

“What? Wait a minute!” she yelped as he dragged her to the edge. She didn’t even look at the alarm clock on her nightstand. One peek at the window revealed the sun wasn’t even up yet.

What time was it?

He pulled her to the edge and lifted her up into his arms. She playfully wiggled around, trying to get out of his grasp. Laughing at her antics, he tightened his hold on her.

“We’re going to take a shower together so we can get ready for work.”

Stopping her thrashing, she settled in against him.

A shower?

“Oh, okay.”

Easing her down his body once they were in the bathroom, she whimpered at the feeling of his hard cock brushing her stomach. With a smirk, London turned and started the shower.

She reached for her shower cap and put it on her head to protect her hair. It was leopard print, and it was adorable.

“Come on in. The water’s fine.”

Stepping inside, he positioned her in front of him so she was under the warm spray. The temperature was perfect.

“Do we have to go to work?” she whined.

“Yes, we do.” Laughing, he reached for her loofa. “What are you wanting to do? Stay in bed for all eternity and only come out for food and water?”

“It’s a thought,” she huffed, imagining such a fantasy. It would be divine. She giggled, and the giggle morphed into a full-blown belly laugh.

“Silly Alana. As much as I would love to keep you in bed forever, we have to make a living.”

Alana fell silent as he began to wash her. She’d never had anyone take care of her like this.

“You do know I’m capable of doing this.”

“I know, but I want to do it.”

His gaze flickered to hers before turning back to his activity. He moved over her breasts, cleaning them well before going lower. He cleaned her belly before motioning for her to spin around.

She turned away from him, marveling at how good it felt to have his hands on her. She bit back a moan as his other hand rested on her waist.

Closing her eyes, she tried to beat down the fear that this would be the last time they’d be together. London didn’t normally date the same woman, and it was out of the norm for him to spend an entire weekend with one.

She would hold on to the memories they had made together.

She hadn’t really been on the dating scene before falling into bed with him, and didn’t have any urge to do so now.

How could she?

After the weekend they had shared, how could she move on?

They quickly finished their shower and made their way into her bedroom. She averted his eyes when he unwrapped the towel from around his waist. It would be torture knowing this would probably be the last time she saw it.

She pulled on her robe while he dressed in the sweats and T-shirt he had worn in her apartment.

Alana wasn’t quite sure what to say. Their time together was officially coming to an end.

“I better go. I don’t want to make you late to work,” London said.

“I’ll walk you to the door.”

Tightening the belt on her robe, she followed behind him as he gathered his things. She felt a moment of sadness. Just that quick, she had gotten used to him in her place.

Arriving at the door, he opened it and turned to her.

“Have a great day at work.”

He used his free hand to tilt her chin up. Her breath caught in her throat as he bent down and pressed his lips to hers. It was the softest kiss she’d ever experienced. She stepped closer, closing the gap between them. Lifting his head, he stared into her eyes. “See you later?”

Unable to speak, she jerked her head in a nod.

“Lock up behind me.” He swiped his thumb slowly across her bottom lip before releasing her.
