Love is Contagious : A Charity Anthology(174)
Author: J. Saman

Luke chuckles. ”Yeah, totally the impression you gave me last time we fucked.”

I pin him to the bed and kiss the hell out of him to shut him up, his cock grinding into my abdomen and mine fucking his balls between his thighs. My mind fogs. The movement of my cock making me lose the little control I have on our situation

“Right,” I say as my brain can’t shut up. “I propose a friends-with-benefits relationship. Will that grant me access to what I need?” I thrust harder, quickening the pace to find a release.

“Yes!” He moans loudly while I suck on one of his nipple rings.

“I can even make a schedule if you want,” I tell him, half joking.

He brings my mouth back to his and bites me hard. Gripping his wrists over his head, I kiss him back more violently, rubbing faster against him until orgasm. Panting, we come together, making a mess on my sheets.

I roll off him right away and snag my underwear from the floor. I’m not the kind to snuggle. I go into the bathroom to clean up and get a new set of sheets. Once back, sheets in one hand and towel for Luke in the other, I find him spread on my bed, his arms over his eyes, smiling about I don’t know what. He’s fucking beautiful.

I throw the towel at his face. “You can stay if you want to, but we need to change the sheets.”

I surprise myself with my proposition. Nobody ever stays the night with me. I’m not even sure he stayed over last time.

“Is that part of our relationship?” he asks, raising an eyebrow and cleaning the sperm off his sculpted abs.

“Call it whatever you want. I need a friend I can have sex with. Mine are desperately straight. You can sleep here, but we don’t snuggle, we don’t spoon, we don’t hug. Understood?”

Luke nods, getting up. He helps me strip the bed and change the linens. It seems abnormally domesticated, like what a couple would do on a Sunday afternoon. I don’t appreciate that one bit, but I like not doing it by myself. That’s the story of my life. I don’t like people, but I hate being alone.

“Can you explain to me why we’re changing the sheets if I’m staying? Isn’t there a good chance we’ll do it again very soon?”

I roll my eyes. In what world is he living? I don’t have time to have sex all night long. I have briefs to read, emails to send, and a house to find for Ryan in the next five hours before a critical meeting in the morning. “Go to sleep. I’ll catch you in the morning.”

I pull a pair of sweatpants from my cupboard and put them on. Grabbing my glasses from my nightstand, I prop myself up on the bed and open the file Marlene prepared for my review. Between Gia’s birth and Virge and Ryan’s drama, I’m so behind that I haven’t even had time to move my useless assistant to Aiden’s desk.

“Fuck, that’s sexy!” Luke says, pulling on his cock. “Dextyn Barclay Crawford the Third in sweatpants and wearing glasses… that’s going into my spank bank, babe.”

I raise an eyebrow at the term of endearment. “Fucking go to sleep or go home, and please don’t call me either Dextyn or babe.”

Luke scoffs and turns onto his stomach, hugging the pillow tightly. “Good night, little prince.”

“Night, Luke,” I answer with a smile.

A few hours later, I’m being pulled away from my brief by the deep voice of the man next to me.

“Dex, it’s three a.m. You need to sleep.”

“Us fucking put me behind,” I say, removing my reading glasses “If I’m lucky, I’ll be done in one hour and I can sleep for two.”

“It’s funny how you think I care what’s important in your world, little prince. It’s really time you let someone take care of you. Come here,” he says, opening his arms as if he expects me to come snuggle.

“No fucking way.” I replace my glasses on my nose and continue reading.

He comes closer and puts his hand on my papers, lowering them onto my legs. His mouth takes my nipple between his teeth, and I can’t help grunting with pleasure. His tongue darts out and he licks my chest, nibbling here and there, leaving me floating between pain and pleasure. Fuck, he’s annoying.

“I really need to work!”

“And I need to fuck you.”

His hand finds my erect dick, and I grunt again. I’m frustrated because I would like to play but I have no time. I’m annoyed he’s not letting me work, but most of all, I’m turned on, as if being with Luke makes me more insatiable. Since my birthday, I’ve wanted sex all the time, with anybody willing but especially with him.

“Please let me work,” I plead while reaching for his face to kiss him.

The asshole grins before shoving my files on the floor and straddling me. I sigh. He takes my lower lip between his teeth, and I abandon all my frustration and annoyance into his expert hands. I won’t be able to finish what I have to do anyway, with him teasing me with his tongue and my dick begging to be sucked.

“Dex, get up, you’re going to be late!”

I wake up to Luke’s voice and I feel rested, which puts me on alert. “What time is it?”

“Six thirty. I have to go, babe. I’m sorry.”

“No babe, please don’t call me babe. Why do you have to go so early? Your shop doesn’t open before one,” I say, still groggy from sleep. I really need to get my ass in gear if I want to be at the office by seven thirty.

“Someone did his homework. I’m meeting Virginia for breakfast.”

I sit up suddenly. “Fuck! I forgot to ask you how she was last night. I meant to ask, but we got carried away. I didn’t even text her. Fuck and shit!” I jump out of bed and grab my phone from my nightstand.

“She isn’t in mortal danger. I’m sure she was happy to have a little space. She’s a little upset with the whole Ryan fuck show, but she’ll get over it.” He comes behind me and drops a kiss on my shoulder.

Our eyes meet in the mirror just above my dresser, and something strange happens. His gaze appeases me. I live in constant guilt over letting Virginia down, and in one look, Luke calms me. It never occurred to me that someone could release the weight I carry.

I quickly break our eye contact and fumble a text so Virge knows I’m still here for her when she decides to talk to me. I hope you’re okay. Call me if you need anything.

It’s the same text I sent her for two years, when she decided I wasn’t worthy of being in her life. I shake my head. I don’t need to dwell on my shit. I need to get going and start my day.

Luke is still behind me, his hands on my hips, studying me in the mirror. He flips me around and kisses me savagely. His beard on my lips, his tongue in mouth, his body against mine fog every lingering thought I had about my past. When he pulls back, I feel empty again, but I push that emotion away.

“Call me later?” he says, searching my eyes for an answer.

“If I have time, yes.” I open my bedroom door, directing him to the front door.

“It’s not about having time, babe, it’s about making some. Catch you later.”

He walks away, leaving me fuming from the endearment, annoyed I gave in last night, jealous he’s having breakfast with Virge, but somewhat happy and satisfied from spending the night with him. And that’s something I haven’t felt for a very long time.
