Love Always, Wild(51)
Author: A.M. Johnson

His lips parted on a groan as I eased the head of my cock into the tight heat of his body. My breath hitched as I slid all the way in, my hips meeting his ass. He held onto my shoulders as I pulled out a few inches, thrusting into him slow and easy at first, trying not to ruin it by finishing in ten seconds. He urged me with quiet pleas to move faster, fuck him harder. Our skin slapped together as our bodies collided, my orgasm building, I reached for his cock, stroking him as fast and frantic as I took his body. Wild’s eyes slammed shut, arching his neck, his head tipped back as he came all over his stomach. He held my gaze as I took his body and made it mine again.

“Oh, fuck…” I grabbed his hips, burying myself as deep as I could go, my fingers bruising his flesh as I came.

“Kiss me,” he said, out of breath and I leaned down, letting our lips move together, slow and wet, as his shaking fingers rested on the side of my face.

I sat up, bringing him with me, keeping my mouth on his, I stole another taste of his lips before he pulled away.

“I’ll be right back,” I said and pressed a kiss to his forehead.

I headed to the bathroom to wash my hands and throw the condom in the trash. When I walked back into the room, Wild was on his side, his head propped in his hand.

“Jesus Christ, you’re beautiful, Jax.” Kneeling onto the bed, his eyes trailed up my body. I never thought I was special in any way, but he looked at me like I was something to behold, and I almost believed him. “It’s not fair, if I’m being honest. How will any other guy ever compare?”

I huffed out a laugh as I lay down beside him. “Any other guy?” I asked.

Pulling his bottom lip from between his teeth with my thumb, I kissed him until he was out of breath again.

“It doesn’t seem normal, being stuck on one person your whole life,” he said. “But I think I always knew there’d never be anyone else.”

“Do…” I took a deep breath, holding his gaze, letting the fear go, I asked, “Do you think you could love me again?”

He wrapped his arm over my waist, and when our chests came together, the rapid beat of his heart echoed against mine. “I never stopped.”

Relief and guilt warred inside me, heavy with all the time I’d stolen from him.

He still loved me.

I loved this man, and his trust in me, even if I wasn’t worthy of it.

“It’s always been you, Wild. I never wanted anything else but you. I keep thinking… what our lives would’ve been like if my dad hadn’t crashed his car into that damn river.”

“You can’t think like that, Jax. It’ll drive you nuts.” He kissed my collarbone. “Everything that happened was supposed to happen. There are no what-ifs. If you start down that rabbit hole, you’ll never get out.”

“And I’m here now.”

“Precisely.” He smiled, dropping his lips to mine.

I wanted to stay in this bed all day. Kissing him, fucking him until neither of us could move. We were both hard again, our hips grinding together, our kiss less coordinated as our breathing intensified. Wild’s hand found its way between our bodies stroking us both at the same time. We groaned against each other’s lips, close to letting go, when his phone rang.

“Shit, don’t stop,” I said, reaching down I covered his hand, working to keep his rhythm. “Gonna come.”

My climax covered our fingers, his following not too far behind as his phone stopped ringing. Gasping, he fell back onto the mattress. I reached over him and grabbed the towel off the floor from last night. I wiped our hands first and then his chest.

“We should shower,” he said, kissing me one last time before climbing out of bed.

“Aren’t you gonna see who called?” I asked.

Reluctant, I got out of bed and stood on unsteady legs.

“Nah. It’s probably June. I’m supposed to meet her for coffee if you want to go with me?”

I only had the clothes I’d worn last night, and I promised Jason I’d video call him today. I wanted to spend every second I could with Wild while I had the chance, but the real world wasn’t something I could put off for much longer.

“I want to,” I said. “But I should probably head back. I have to get stuff for the apartment, and I promised Jason I’d call him.”

Wild looked at me over his shoulder as he turned on the water in the shower. “Busy day,” he said with a smile. But I could hear the disappointment in his voice.

I stepped into the shower, the hot water covering me as I folded my arms around his waist. His back to my chest, he rested his head against my shoulder.

“I don’t want to leave.”

“I know,” he said. “I’m being greedy.” I kissed his neck, letting my fingers follow the small stream of water as it ran down the muscles of his stomach. “Do you have plans this weekend?”

“No. I work Friday, but after that I’m done till Monday.”

“You should stay with me this weekend. I could show you around Atlanta.”

“Go on a real date,” I said.

“Gasp… Jaxon Stettler out in Atlanta. Should I order the dragon dildos today, or are you still thinking about it?” I pinched his hip, and he laughed, turning his body in my arms. Chest to chest, he reached up and combed his fingers through my wet hair, settling them at the back of my neck. “Seriously, though. Last night when you kissed me out in the open like that. It meant a lot to me. I know how hard this is for you.”

I framed his face with my hands, wiping the water from his cheeks with my thumbs. “I don’t know what will happen when I go home, but I know I can’t stay in the closet. Not anymore.”

“Don’t blow up your life for me. Coming out to your mom is a big deal. Make sure you know what you want, Jax. For you, and not for anyone else.”

“I want this.” I kissed his lips. “I want you… I want a life that’s my own.”

“What about your brother?” he asked.

My mom couldn’t keep Jason from me. I was his family. She could hate me all she wanted to, but there was no way she could deny I loved my brother more than anything.

“Let me worry about that, alright. I’ll figure it out. Right now, the only thing I want to think about is the hot as hell guy I have naked in my arms.”

Wild grinned as he ran his fingers down my stomach. “I think I can help with that.”

Hudson was in the kitchen when I got home, cooking something that actually smelled decent. My stomach growled, reminding me I hadn’t had breakfast, and it was almost eleven-thirty. I set my keys on the hook by the door and tried, unsuccessfully, to walk past the kitchen without being noticed.

“Are you just getting home?” he asked, a shit-eating grin on his face.

“What are you? My mother?”

“Would your mother high-five you for getting some pussy last night?” He held up his hand and I shook my head.

“You’re a fucking idiot.”

He dropped his hand, laughing. I had the best night and morning of my life, and I wasn’t going to let him ruin it.

“What are you making?” I asked, trying to take the attention off me.

“Grilled ham and cheese, want one?”
