The Enemy Next Door(33)
Author: Rebel Hart

All of our actions started to blend into one another. Her casual movements, positioning herself in the way I needed her to be for access, which I didn’t wait another moment to pass through. She rose and fell, drowning me in a pool that was somehow as hot as a blazing bonfire. I tasted her breasts and the sultry sounds that spilled out of her would be my nightsong for years to come.

My hands were endlessly unsatisfied. They travelled to every corner and crevasse, sometimes squeezing, sometimes just softly walking across the skin, all working to figure out which movements caused different reactions from the goddess on top of me. I did my best to commit to memory the way she had her head tossed back and her lips carelessly parted. I kissed her shoulder and made a decision to venture into a small experiment. I bit down on the spot, hard. Not so hard that I thought it would hurt her, but more than a nip. Simultaneous with my chomp, Tatiana squeezed around me and it was almost as if I was going to burst into dust. If someone had asked me to spell my name in that moment I would have failed.

“Shh.” Tatiana pulled me into a kiss.

Did I make a noise? I didn’t even realize. Her movements changed to a sublime way that moved me in new directions. I was an innocent young man losing his virginity to a cruel succubus. She was taking the very color from my body and I was perfectly pleased to let her. When she took her lips away from mine, our eyes locked into each other, and then she started to go faster. Her hands snaked around my neck and up into the base of my hair, and my arms wrapped around her body and pulled her as close to me as I could get her. I was certain the magic of the moment was going to lift the furniture around us off the ground and send it swirling about the room. It wasn’t just my nether regions galloping towards the edge of the cliff, it was all of me, like an army of men storming towards the horizon not realizing it was actually a steep drop off.

“I love you.” The words left my mouth with no prior consideration. My love for Tatiana wasn’t a conscious thing anymore. It was as much a part of me as the absent-minded blinks of my eyes. It wasn’t something I knew, it was something I breathed. Most people needed food and water to live, but I needed Tatiana. As long as I had her, nothing else mattered.

Tatiana’s head nodded weakly as she whimpered on top of me. She was shaking and swerving and moaning and I could sense she was as close as I was. “I love you too.”

My animal instincts punched my logical self out of the control seat of my body and took over. With a tight hold on Tatiana, I flipped her over to her back, and blanketed myself over her. Like a tide crashing into the shore, I took Tatiana and her voice heightened to the point that now it was me who needed to bring our volume down. I closed my mouth over hers, which only stifled her noises as much as my mouth could hold. I growled against her lips and cursed my body for not being able to hang on more. The horses we were on stormed towards one another, both of our lances out. Neither of us stayed on the saddle. We hooked into each other and both went spilling off our steeds in a blinding and deafening tumble of pleasure. The fall was almost sweeter than the ride. It bounced all around me like a loose superball, causing the hairs on the back of my neck to stand on end and my mouth to go dry.

I went limp against Tatiana, dropping my head to rest above her beautiful breasts. Her chest rose and fell under me and even through the sweat that covered both of our bodies, I felt the cleanest I’d ever been. Tatiana pet my head absently, and I felt my eyes flutter. I could have fallen asleep right there, but I fought through it, I didn’t want to be done with the night, not just yet. I pecked her skin a few times just to remind myself that I could. She was in my arms and I never wanted to let her go.

“I’m sorry,” Tatiana whispered softly after a long time, and it terrified me to my core. I lifted my head to look into her eyes, and there were tears sliding out of them. “I’m sorry I cost us this. We should have been together a long time ago.”

I let out a sigh of relief. I rubbed a hand over her face, swiping the tears away. “All that matters is that we’re here now.”

She nodded. “I love you.”

I could have died a happy man. “I love you.”

We shifted around until I was leaning back against the back of the couch, and Tatiana was nestled between my legs. As beautiful as she looked in her Kimono, I pulled it from around her and draped it over the edge of the bed so that I could take in her true, naked visage. I wrapped my arms around her body and she dropped her head back against my shoulder. I kissed her forehead. How long could we stay like that until we had to get dressed and sneak back up to our bedrooms? How much time was I allotted in that personal heaven?

Tatiana touched a spot on her collarbone and I titled my head. “You do that a lot.”

“Hm?” She glanced up at me.

“Touch your chest right there.”

“Oh, yeah…” she said, a streak of sadness in her words. “I’ve done it ever since I got rid of the locket. I wish I hadn’t.”

I untangled myself from Tatiana. I didn’t want to move at all, but it was worth it. I grabbed my backpack and pulled it up onto the bed. I sifted through the front pocket until I found what I was looking for and pulled it out. I dangled Tatiana’s half of the locket in front of her and her eyes started to glisten with tears.

“Oh my god.” She held out her hand and I dropped it in. “Where… How?”

“When you threw it down, I grabbed it and took it home. I don’t know,” I kissed Tatiana’s cheek, “I guess I still thought it was important and wanted to keep it.”

“Where’s your half?”

I reached back into my bag and pulled out my football gloves. I tipped back the fabric that typically wrapped around my wrist, where I’d glued in my half of the locket. “I never stopped thinking about you, Tatiana. Not for a second.”

Tatiana was struggling to find words. Finally, she handed the necklace over and then turned her pristine, bare back to me and took her hair up in her hands. I laced the necklace around her neck and clasped it. Tatiana touched the spot gently and a glowing smile found her face. She turned to face me fully, grabbed my face, and pulled it down to hers. She slid backwards on the bed, taking me with her. Her hands trailed over my back and excitement fled south in anticipation of round two.

Seeing Colin in the kitchen the next morning blanketed me in happiness. It wasn’t just the love making that came flooding back into my brain, but laying with him, talking with him, and just being with him. He looked up from his cereal and gave me a huge, bright smile. He was so good-looking. His hair was pulled back behind his head, but it didn’t matter. Colin looked good anyway he decided to show up. I could see the touch of exhaustion behind his eyes, the same that I assume mine held. We’d gone at it until the early hours of the morning, and thank god I woke up early after drifting off in his arms, otherwise my parents would have gotten quite the shock when they went looking for us after we didn’t show up for breakfast. My parents would be beyond pleased to learn that we were together when we were finally ready to tell them so, but I doubted they would be as excited to find out we had sex in their basement with them two floors up, least of all my dad. Beneath his teddy bear facade was an overprotective man who could easily come to dislike Colin if he felt like he was being disrespectful.
