Totally Schooled(42)
Author: Nicole Dykes

He kisses me thoroughly and then pulls back before slamming home and hitting my prostate so perfectly, I cry out in extreme pleasure, our bodies coming together in the most perfect way. He’s quick to cover my mouth with his hand. “We have to be quiet.”

“Fuck. It’s so fucking good,” I gasp. He covers my mouth with his again, kissing the hell out of me as he fucks me, bringing me close to the edge, our breathing hard as we kiss and move together.

He thrusts into me over and over, and I drag my fingers down his back and grab his ass, loving the firmness of his cheeks as I grip him hard and pull him even deeper inside me. “I’m close.” His forehead rests against mine as he looks down between our bodies. “Please.” Now he’s the one begging. “Touch yourself. I want to see you come.”

I don’t have to be told twice. Reaching for my cock, I stroke it in time with each of his thrusts. I lean forward to bite into his shoulder as I release, muffling my cry. Then I feel his entire body tense, his thrusts erratic as his big cock jerks inside me and his heat fills my hole as my cum spills over my stomach and my hand.

He collapses on me with my cum between us and his cock still in my ass, but neither of us move.

“Thank you for trusting me.”

“I have a feeling I’m going to trust you many, many more times.” He laughs against my chest.

“So fucking needy.”

“For you.”

I feel him smiling as I stroke his hair and he lays on me, crushing me with his weight, but there’s not a chance I’m going to push him off.

I’m never letting him go.

We made it to the summer. The last day of school was a few days ago. My hands are nearly shaking when Rafe sits Hailey down on the couch and kneels to look her in the eyes. “I have something to tell you, okay?”

She looks up at me, quiet suspicion playing on her adorable face. “What?”

I take a deep breath and stand behind Rafe—he wanted me to be here or I would have let him do this in private. But I’m happy he wanted to do it together. It just cements everything.

“Nolan and I are together.” She cocks her head to the side, thinking about what he said. “We’re dating each other.”

“Oh.” Her face lights up. “He’s your boyfriend?”

I smile because Rafe may be out, and as unfair as it may be that we do have to choose to come out to everyone we meet eventually, I know he worries each time that they’ll react the way his family or Heather did. It’s an absolute shock to him when people aren’t dicks, when his boss was freely open about being gay, when Emily was only sad she wasn’t going to get to sleep with him, and that my parents are good people. It all genuinely shocked him because of the people who should have loved him for who he was and didn’t.

But Hailey? Yeah, I had no doubt that kid was golden.

“Yes,” he says and stands, taking my hand in his. “Is that okay?”

“Yeah.” She hops up. “So are you my dad now too?” She’s looking at me, and I just look to Rafe because as much as I want to be someday, that’s moving pretty fast.

Thankfully, Rafe handles it like a champ. “Maybe someday. But for now, he’s your dad’s boyfriend and your friend. Okay?”

Hailey nods her head exuberantly at Rafe and then looks back to me. “So you’ll be around even more to play Barbies with me?”

I laugh because I’m around a lot already. “Yup. You sure you’re okay with this?”

“Duh.” She’s grinning. “I like when Daddy’s happy.”

And there it is. I see it written all over Rafe’s face the minute he realizes just how much his daughter loves him back, how much she needs him to be happy, like I’ve tried to tell him all along. He gives her a hug and then asks her to use the restroom before we head over to my parents’.

When we get there, Emily and her friend Krista—who I officially met when they came over to Rafe’s for dinner the other day—are already here, talking to my mom. We were supposed to arrive first—but I guess that’s life with a five year old.

My mom seems to have already made sure they feel right at home though, along with Rafe’s boss, Jake, and his boyfriend. They’re sitting at the picnic table in the backyard, talking to my dad and Rob, one of his oldest friends.

I smile as I look around the crowded backyard. My mom loves throwing a party, and with the end of school, she wanted to have a barbecue and to invite everyone she could think of. That, of course, included Rafe and Hailey . . . and everyone they would want there.

I like Emily. She’s flirty, but she’s got a good heart. At least that was my impression from the one time I met her. Hailey runs to my mom, and Rafe walks over to talk to Jake before I go into the kitchen to put away the fruit salad I brought until we’re ready to eat.

And just like that, Emily is right there with a great big smile on her pretty face. “Your mom is amazing.”

I chuckle because I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like my mom. “Yeah. She’s pretty great.”

“Are you and Rafe finally together?” I nearly choke on my spit at her bold question, and after a moment of sputtering, I lock eyes with her playful ones.

“Yes.”

She’s grinning big now. “Good. He finally pulled his head out of his ass then.”

I take a seat at my parents’ kitchen table, and she plops down right across from me. “He had some things to work through. Can’t fault him for that.”

“Yeah, I guess. He’s a good one.”

“Can’t argue with that.” Her face looks sad, though, and I have to ask, “You okay?”

She’s trying to force a smile now, but she just sighs. “I don’t think I’m ever going to find the right one. Like ever.”

“You’re like twenty. You have time.”

“I’ve wanted to find someone to settle down and make a life with for a long time. But I just keep finding assholes or totally off-limits men.” She looks to the backyard at Rafe, and then her eyes move back to me as if to prove her point.

“As I said, you have time. You’re beautiful and funny and nice, from what I can tell. Someone will fall for you.”

She leans her head back against the chair and slumps down dramatically. “Ugh, I don’t think so. I had a date last night, and it was great.” She sits up straight now. “Until it wasn’t.”

“What happened?”

“He told me I was fishing for compliments. I mean, I know that’s not the worst thing but . . .”

I groan, “That’s so fucking annoying.”

She leans forward, her expressive eyes widened. “Right?”

Poor kid. “Yeah. I always hated that. If you like someone, and they’re asking for a little pick-me-up in the form of a compliment, why not just give it to them?”

“Yes.” She raises one hand in the air excitedly. “Exactly. Crap! Why can’t you be straight?” I cock an eyebrow at her, and she raises her hand to stop me from saying anything. “Don’t answer that. I know that’s a fucked-up question, and you and Rafe are perfect together. You’re not straight because you’re gay, and he’s gay, and you two make the perfect couple.”
