We get to the side of the lake and I drop Gabe's hand when my eyes land on the grass. A checkered red and white blanket is set on the grass with a picnic basket.

We walk over to the blanket and I sit, reaching for the basket and take out a homemade pie.

"It's so nice here at night."
"It's a little...warm. Might go for a swim," Gabe says as he stands.
"I didn't bring a suit."

Gabriel
I stand on the front porch of Charlotte's house with my mother, father and sister, Savannah for a cookout. Our fathers went hunting this weekend so we're having a big feast.
"Hey y'all, come on in," greets Jenna Daniels, Charlotte's mother.
She opens the door wide for us to all walk in and I glance up the stairs to Charlotte's bedroom. The door is closed so I follow everyone towards the kitchen and wait until they walk outside.
