I watched him climb up, and when he could reach the first tail, he cut the rope to let it fall to the ground right in front of my feet.

“I’m not mad, Fennec. I just need you to explain to me why you did this,” I told him, hoping he’d stop acting this way.

“You are mad. And you hate me because I broke your promise. And that’s okay because I deserve it.”

He jumped down to walk over to the next tree, but before he could climb it, I hugged him from behind and kept my arms tight around his waist.

“Let me talk to you,” I begged quietly, pressing against his back and feeling how his body relaxed for a swift moment.

“Let go,” he murmured.

“No. I want you to talk to me about this and not make you say all those horrible things. Tell me why you did it. I’m not mad,” I promised, and again, his body relaxed.

“Please,” I whispered, moving my hands up to his chest and feeling his heartbeat.

He was quiet for a while, and when I felt as if I could move without him getting away, I made him turn to look at me.

I smiled up at him and placed my hands on his cheeks, gently caressing his skin to make him calm down.

“I would like to understand why you did it. Talk to me, Fennec,” I said quietly, hoping for him to talk.

He eyed me carefully, trying to figure out if I was being honest or not. But he knew I was.

I always was, and he also knew that it was hard for me to stay mad at him for more than five minutes.

My anger had vanished, now all I needed was an explanation.

“I don’t believe someone does things like this without a reason.”

His eyes never left mine, and once I saw the agitation in them leave, I smiled again. “Talk to me,” I repeated.

“Promise not to hate me,” he whispered.

“I could never hate you, Fennec. You know that.”

A smile touched his lips, but it vanished as quickly as it appeared.

“Foxes remind me of you. They’re forbidden because you made me promise not to get close to them. But when you made me promise that, I promised myself not to get close to you.”

He let out a sigh and dropped his gaze to the ground while I continued to hold his face in my hands, gently brushing along his cheeks to assure him I was right there with him, no matter what.

“I watched them from afar, but I needed to touch them. I needed to touch you, but you were forbidden. I never meant for you to see this, and I never meant to hurt you the way I hurt them but…I wanted to hurt you too.”

“What do you mean?” I frowned at his last words, feeling my heart beat faster.

“I love you so intensely that sometimes I don’t see any other way to show you just how much my heart aches for you. I feel overwhelmed at times just looking at you, and the foxes were the closest I could get to hurting you. I’m sorry,” he croaked out, placing his hands on my waist.

Slowly, everything he was saying started to have a deeper meaning.

His words made sense, even if they were wrong and twisted.

He loved me, and Fennec had his own ways of showing me.

And that was okay.

“It’s okay, Fennec. I’m not mad at you. I’m still trying to understand exactly how you’ve been feeling, but I need you to know that I’m not angry,” I whispered, tilting his head so he would look at me again.

“I broke my promise and upset you. It was never my intention,” he told me.

“I know it wasn’t. I forgive you,” I said with a smile, pushing my hands into his hair and fisting it tightly.

“I love you, Fen. I think I’ve told you many times already, and I showed you too. I can forget about this, but you have to promise not to be sad anymore.”

I hated seeing him like this, and on one hand, it was me making him feel those emotions.

“Look at me,” I urged as he turned his head to the side, and when his eyes met mine again, I smiled.

“Everything’s okay. I promise.”

He studied my face and clenched his jaw before pulling me closer and leaning back against the tree.

His lips met mine, and I quickly deepened the kiss to prove to him that everything I had said was nothing but the truth.

He was mine, and I believed at that point, there was nothing he could ever do that would make me run from him.

“I love you,” he whispered against my lips, making me smile wider and wrap my arms around his neck to hold him close.

And just like that, he was back to normal.

His kiss was passionate and deep, with his tongue showing me the same amount of affection as his lips were.

His hands moved from my waist down to my legs, tugging at my pants’ waistband.

“I need to fuck you,” he growled as he pulled my pants down, letting them fall to my feet before he made quick work of his own.

We were far enough from camp so that Papa couldn’t hear us, but he still could walk over here any moment, surprising us and seeing what we were doing.

But as desperate as Fennec was, I didn’t bother caring about getting caught.

I needed him too.

I kicked off my pants and let him pick me up, then I wrapped my legs around his hips and felt his tip at my entrance.

My back was pushed against the tree, and with his hands on my ass, he easily pushed inside of me in one quick move.

I moaned, leaning my forehead against his while keeping my eyes open.

The emotions in his gaze were intense, and they turned me on the longer I stared into his eyes.

His emotions were real.

Raw.

Just like mine.

“Fuck!” he groaned, squeezing my ass with both his hands and making me clench my pussy around his cock.

“Keep that up, sweet girl. Show me how much you want this dick inside of you.”

I started to rock my hips against him, meeting every single one of his thrusts and feeling his shaft throb inside of me.

It felt so damn good, and I couldn’t imagine any other guy doing the things Fennec did to me.

“Make me come,” I begged, gripping his hair tightly and placing kisses on his cheek and jawline.

“I want your cum deep inside of me.”

“Dirty girl. Keep that up and I will fuck that pretty mouth so hard you won’t dare to talk to me like this anymore.”

Shit.

But that was exactly what I wanted.

I had become more confident when it came to dirty talk, and it was all because of him.

It turned him on just as much as me when he talked that way, so why not tease him too?

The tension inside of me grew bigger, making me squeeze his hips with my thighs and trying to hold on to that feeling for as long as possible.

“Oh, Fen!” I cried as the first sparks moved through my body directly to my clit.

It was rubbing against his stomach whenever I met his thrust, only making the buildup of my orgasm more intense.

I gripped his shoulder with one hand to steady myself, but when his thrusts quickened, my body couldn’t help but shake and tremble all over.

I was tense, needing to get some type of release before it was too overwhelming to come.

It had happened before, and I hated the feeling of not being able to calm my body down enough to experience an orgasm because the first one was too much to handle.

I wouldn’t let that happen today, so I stopped moving my hips and let him fuck me hard while his cock continued to throb inside of me.
