Like Grim Death(30)
Author: K. Sterling

“I kind of wanted it to hurt...”

“For me,” Hawk whispered as his thumb tugged at Casper’s lip. “I want to see you fly,” he added and Casper was frozen for a moment before he sniffed hard.

“Fine,” he said then rolled his eye as he flipped open the cap. “Don’t ruin this by making it nice,” he muttered as he reached back and blindly squirted Hawk’s erection with lube.

“That’s going to stain the sheets,” he noted but Casper’s neck swiveled forward.

“Why the fuck would I care? I thought I’d die without knowing what this was like with another man,” he said.

“Come here!” Hawk groaned and kissed Casper hard. “I wish I could explain to you how much I want you. Even when you smelled like a dumpster and tried to kill me, I wanted to fuck the life right out of you,” he said.

“Hawk, that’s...” A tear rolled down Casper’s cheek and he swayed forward so he could lick at his lips and his face. “That’s the most beautiful thing anyone’s ever said to me. You can take this in the most psychotic way possible but I would do anything to keep you,” he whispered then pushed off Hawk’s chest so he could sit up. Hawk shook his head as his hands worshiped Casper’s face, neck, chest, thighs...

“You don’t have to do anything. Just stop hurting yourself and don’t hurt anyone weaker than you,” Hawk asked and Casper paused.

“I...won’t,” he said before he guided the head of Hawk’s shaft to his hole. Casper leaned so most of his weight was on his left knee and reached behind him as he lowered and Hawk was enthralled. He glowed in the moonlight and Casper was a siren as his head rolled back and his lips parted on a strangled sob. His chest heaved as he took Hawk all the way to the hilt and rocked his hips, striking his prostate. “Sweet fucking Christ, that feels so good!” He cried and braced his hand on Hawk’s thigh so he could ride him slow and hard. Casper was stunning and Hawk wished he was better with words and could tell him. Casper was lost in the pleasure and the intense connection they felt every time they touched and it was arousing and more compelling than anything Hawk had ever encountered. Hawk felt it the first time he tackled Casper and it just got hotter and more intense every time they kissed or shared another piece of themselves. They were whole when they were together. And, God, when they were together...

“Casper!” Hawk gasped as he sat up and fisted his hand in Casper’s hair. “Don’t stop! You’re so fucking good!” He supported Casper’s right hip so he could grind harder and Hawk was deep, deep, deep in slick, tight heat. “Oh, fuck! I can’t take it!” He fell back on the bed and tugged at Casper’s cock as he bucked.

“Yes! Hawk!” Casper shrieked and clenched ruthlessly tight as cum spilled over Hawk’s fingers. All the heat in Hawk’s body swelled in his groin and the pressure made his eyes roll just before his nerves shattered.

“Fuck!” Hawk yelled and his body jumped as a hard rush of cum pumped from his cock.

“Fuck!” But it was much higher and broke as Casper was rolled onto his back.

“I don’t know what it says about me, but this is my idea of heaven.” Hawk filled him with long, slow strokes, enjoying the slippery warmth of Casper’s passage as he nibbled on his lips. Casper laughed as he got comfortable beneath Hawk.

“It says you prefer the chaos of Hell and the taste of dark, bitter things,” he said but Hawk shook his head and purred as his lips found Casper’s ear.

“You’re never bitter, every bit of you tastes as sweet as honey.”

“I’ll kill you if you ever tell another soul.”

Chapter 21

“What do you want?” Casper asked as he wiggled the earpiece in tighter. It had been a while and Casper felt a tickle of exhilaration when he saw the text message from Blink, ordering him to call.

“To converse with my employee,” Blink ground out.

“He’s not available right now. He’s had his leg lopped off and is waiting on a new one.”

“You’re testing my patience.”

“Am I? And what will you do after I’ve completely obliterated it?” Casper asked and turned on his stool so he could recline and fold his arms behind his head. Blink sighed heavily and Casper imagined that he was rubbing his temple or crushing something in his fist. It made him a little hard and Casper sat up and leaned so he could look out the window. Hawk ordered a smoker and was enjoying a beer as he babysat a salmon and smoked a joint. Casper said he didn’t want to go outside but he was having regrets...

“You wouldn’t have let something like this slow you down before,” Blink murmured.

“What?” Casper asked as he sat up.

“You used to be...” Blink hummed thoughtfully. “Unstoppable and impervious. Although, part of me wonders if you’re enjoying yourself and taking advantage.”

“Of having my leg cut off?” Casper asked flatly and Blink hummed again.

“I honestly think you would have shaken it off and got right back to work if you’d lost it in an accident. And it’s the sort of thing you’d do.”

“True. All the resting and eating has gone to my head. What do you need?” Casper repeated impatiently. There had to be some point to Blink’s baiting. “Not that I’m much good at the moment, unless you’re bringing the work to me. We’ll have to make sure I don’t leave a mess or Hawk will be a pain in the ass,” he warned.

“I brought the work to you but it’s nothing that requires you to get out of Hawk’s bed. Check your email,” Blink said and Casper snarled.

“Check your bullshit and stay out of my business,” Casper said then ended the call. He hopped off of the stool and reached for the other counter. He was getting around faster and didn’t need a crutch when he was in his lab. He hopped and dove from counter to counter to wall to refrigerator to his desk and fell into the rolling chair. Casper opened his laptop and flailed his hand and swore at it until it woke up. “Let’s see what he’s got for us...” He opened his email and disregarded everything but the most recent message from Blink. It was a picture and a name and Casper smiled as he sat forward.

We’ve been waiting for you.

Casper’s head tilted from side to side as he studied the picture. He’s a very, very bad man. He nodded as he touched Edward Folger’s eyes on the screen.

“A very bad judge who’s got a penchant for Meissen...” Casper purred. And murdering young gay men in his sketchy condo with drugs. He pecked at the keys until he found the right item in Sotheby’s catalog.

A MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A NODDING PAGODA LATE 19TH CENTURY

$4,000 SOLD

“That’s a shame.” Casper grinned and sent a screenshot to Blink. It was just the sort of thing that would get Folger’s attention, if it were to become “available” again at a reduced price from an anonymous seller. Blink would send Roman Carlisle after it and Casper would have it within a week. “Now... What can I create in a week that will make evil Edward lose his mind and rip his face off?”
